The Brandermill 7.4k is a fun race from Clover Hill High School through the neighborhoods of Brandermill and back. 4.59-ish miles of beautiful scenery and 4th of July fun!   Come run with us and celebrate Independence Day, then stroll (or run some more!) over to the parade route for the Brandermill 4th of July Parade! All race proceeds will benefit Connor’s Heroes, a local pediatric non-profit assisting children and their families during cancer treatment. They directly address needs with gas cards, parking vouchers, cleaning services, shopping assistance, babysitting, companionship, and more. No child or family should face cancer treatment alone.

The Valley 4th RUN is home to the Slip 'n Slide Finish Line and the only chip timed race in the Shenandoah Valley that lets you pick your distance (1.5 mile, 5K, or 10K). Plus, it's a great opportunity to run/walk/roll through the streets of downtown Harrisonburg on the greatest holiday of the year.

The race is located at the beautiful Lake Leota Park, located in Evansville, WI. The courses wind around the majestic lake, as well as through our historic streets. Start at KNC entrance on Highway 67, 251 Elkhorn Road, across from Lions’ Fieldhouse, Williams Bay.  The course will follow the grass trails in KNC through the hills, woods and prairie.  There will be a water stop on the course.   The kids (10 and under) 1/4 mile walk/run will start at 8:00 AM - The 5K will start at 8:30AM.  Due to safety concerns, there will be no dogs allowed this year. Parking will be available at the Lions’ Fieldhouse parking lot on Highway 67 across the street from the entrance. Restrooms are available at the Lions’ Fieldhouse, as well as a porta potty near the entrance. On-line registration will remain open on race day as space allows, but must be completed from home before arriving on site.  THERE WILL BE NO PAPER REGISTRATION ON THE DAY OF THE RUN. 2026 marks the 1st ever 5k run in Granite Falls Washington!  Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the USA.  The run will circle around the history of Granite Falls.   Once runners have completed the course, there is an awards ceremony with several raffle awards. Participants, family and friends can then enjoy festive activities that are held all around the main street including food, music, vendor booths, activities and more. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just looking for a fun, healthy way to start your Independence Day, this event is for you! We are changing it up a bit this year and while there is still a chance to beat Ol’ Man Brackett, the focus is more on the parade and community fun. Welcome back runners to the annual Fallen Heroes 5 Miler. Come out and run the through the amazing streets of downtown Fredericksburg. The starting location will be held at James Monroe High School. The race is sponsored by the Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes, a local non-profit organization that provides support to the veterans and first responders in need of assistance in the local community.  This is the 7th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix series in conjunction with the Fredericksburg Area Running Club. The 44th Annual Black Bear Run takes you through scenic trails of the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club. The course is a combination of pavement and gravel. All runs and walks start at 8 AM.  12K starts at Engadine High School. 6K participants are bused to start.Buses for 6K participants will leave Engadine High School at 7:30 AM, or you can be dropped off. July 4th, 2026 The 20th Annual Hungry Duck race benefit our local non-profit partners in the fight against hunger. Together we can run or walk for an incredible cause to help our community.  The course starts in downtown Brighton, continuing into local scenic areas and returning downtown to finish. Course is mostly paved with portions on hard-packed dirt roads; mostly flat with a few "modest" hills to add a little challenge. The half marathon course will be closed at 9:45am. Davis Lake Triathlon will be held on the 4th of July.  This triathlon is Kayak, Bike, Run.  There are two race categories.  The Minnow Race=Kayak 1/4 mile, Bike 2 miles, and Run 1 Mile The Shark Race=Kayak 1/2 mile, Bike 8 miles, and Run 2.5 Miles Both events can be completed by either a single individual or a 2-3 person team. When registering as a team, only one member is required to pay the registration.  I will contact that person to get information about his/her teammates Kayaks and Life Vests will be provided. Run or walk 4 miles on the 4th of July on the Trezona Trail in Ely, Mn.  Kids can run or walk 1776 yards (1 mile) for free.

The 10K Tofte Trek starts at Birch Grove Community Center in Tofte and winds its way up the hill towards the Superior Hiking Trail, then comes back down through lots of mud on the snowmobile trail. Runners are proud to wear their muddy badge of courage as they finish. Must be at least 11 years old to run the Tofte Trek. Overall and age-group awards. Age-Handicapped 4-Miler is an annual race held every July 4th to celebrate Independence Day and the club's founding. Unlike a standard race, it features a staggered start based on age and gender, aiming to have all participants finish closer together. The Goal: The "winner" is the first person to physically cross the finish line, regardless of their net running time. The Fenton Firecracker is an annual tradition just prior to the Fenton 4TH of July Parade.  Come join us for fun and fitness, then stay for the parade! The 13th annual Fenton Firecracker 5K and 2.5K is back!  This is a great race for athletes and weekend warriors alike on July 4th.  The race begins at 9:45 am so be sure to be in place with your bib on by 9:30 am. Race starts at the Ellen Street Campus (World of Wonder) which is also the finish line! Packet pick up will be at Freedom Center Church, 2473 W. Stayton Fun Run Since 1983 Stayton has been celebrating fitness and this family tradition on the 4th of July. Both the runs and walk of this annual event will take place on asphalt and cross-country surfaces. The courses are excellent for the competitive runner, fun runner and walker. The Runs and Walk is being held in conjunction with Stayton’s 4th of July festival.
