All race proceeds will benefit Connor’s Heroes, a local pediatric non-profit assisting children and their families during cancer treatment. Start at KNC entrance on Highway 67, 251 Elkhorn Road, across from Lions’ Fieldhouse, Williams Bay.  The course will follow the grass trails in KNC through the hills, woods and prairie.  There will be a water stop on the course.   The kids (10 and under) 1/4 mile walk/run will start at 8:00 AM - The 5K will start at 8:30AM.  Due to safety concerns, there will be no dogs allowed this year. Parking will be available at the Lions’ Fieldhouse parking lot on Highway 67 across the street from the entrance. Restrooms are available at the Lions’ Fieldhouse, as well as a porta potty near the entrance. Opens end of March.-Free Tim Hortons coffee available morning of race.-National Anthem at 7:55AM. July 4th, 2026 The 20th Annual Hungry Duck race benefit our local non-profit partners in the fight against hunger. Together we can run or walk for an incredible cause to help our community.  The course starts in downtown Brighton, continuing into local scenic areas and returning downtown to finish. Davis Lake Triathlon will be held on the 4th of July.  This triathlon is Kayak, Bike, Run.  There are two race categories.  The Minnow Race=Kayak 1/4 mile, Bike 2 miles, and Run 1 Mile The Shark Race=Kayak 1/2 mile, Bike 8 miles, and Run 2.5 Miles Both events can be completed by either a single individual or a 2-3 person team. Tofte Trek Wilderness Race

The 10K Tofte Trek starts at Birch Grove Community Center in Tofte and winds its way up the hill towards the Superior Hiking Trail, then comes back down through lots of mud on the snowmobile trail. Runners are proud to wear their muddy badge of courage as they finish. Must be at least 11 years old to run the Tofte Trek. Overall and age-group awards. Unlike a standard race, it features a staggered start based on age and gender, aiming to have all participants finish closer together. Stayton Fun Run Since 1983 Stayton has been celebrating fitness and this family tradition on the 4th of July. Both the runs and walk of this annual event will take place on asphalt and cross-country surfaces. The courses are excellent for the competitive runner, fun runner and walker.
