Two loops around the lake at Munroe Falls Metro Park on the paved path. The course is hilly and paved. Kayak 1 mile, Bike 11 miles, Run 3 miles. Kayak, bike, and run the beautiful and historic Huron National Forest, beginning in Mio Pond of the Au Sable River in Mio and ending at Boney Park in Fairview, Michigan. The Au Sable Valley Triathlon is an individual or team event, consisting of kayaking on the River backwaters, biking on paved roads, and running on grass/ dirt trails. It has been described as an intermediate-level event in terms of difficulty. Past participants have found it a fun, low-key, friendly competition and have enjoyed participating with friends and family members. The 5K course will take runners and walkers along the beautiful St. Joseph River and two Lake Michigan beaches. Participants will race along Silver Beach, Lions Park Beach and Howard Recreational Trail and then through the Whirlpool Compass Fountain. The race begins and ends at the Margaret Upton Arboretum. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. The non-competitive 1K fun run (0.62 miles) begins prior to the 5K. With volunteers cheering along the way, the children will follow a paved sidewalk and safe route. Parents are encouraged to run with younger children. All participants will receive a race bib, rubber duck award and t-shirt. The 2026 Unified 5k and AdaptXpo is an inclusive road race and adaptive sports expo designed so that everyone can participate, whether they run, walk, row, or roll. The event raises critical funds for AdaptX education, research, community events, fitness programming, and grant initiatives. This is the 10th year for our Jefferson County Humane Society 5K walk/run. The money raised during this event will go towards the animals in our community. The purpose of the Fathers and Families race event is to promote the vital role fathers play as a stabilizing presence in the home and community. Hosted by A Father’s Legacy, Inc., the Second Annual Fathers and Families Fun Walk/Run raises awareness and support for programs that empower both young and mature fathers to build strong families and thriving communities. The race will be held at the beautiful Pratt Park 120 River Rd, Fredericksburg. Tri 4 Schools is a part of Active Youth Wisconsin, a nonprofit committed to empowering kids to be happy, healthy, and confident through movement. To support this mission, we donate 100% of youth entry fees to the participants' schools.  We offer 5 in-person course options for this race. While there are recommended ages listed below, please select the course that best matches your child’s ability, regardless of age. Athletes must be able to navigate the course themselves and follow signage and volunteer directions along the course. Only athletes are allowed on the course; spectators/parents may spectate from the side. Join us for Bigfoot's Backyard Bash! Runners will get a shirt and finisher medal. This is a low key, fun vibe event. Runners can start anytime between 8am and noon. You can run 1 five mile loop or multiple. There will be no timing and no top awards. We will have aid station snacks at the loop start/finish area.  We loved the vibe of GTR this year and decided we needed a summer version.  This event is limited to 250 runners.  The shirt cutoff is June 1.

The Gravel Unravel Experience Gravel Unravel is an endurance gravel bicycling series on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. This series is brought to you by a partnership between Peninsula Adventure Sports and La Vogue Cyclery This event is designed for those who wish to challenge their physical abilities to the maximum while enjoying the lushness of Olympic National Forest. Join us for the 6th Annual Dylan's Dash!This 5K Cross Country Run/Walk is a fun way to help raise funds for Type 1 Diabetes awareness.  As part of Caskeys Campground's Annual Family Fun Day, this event will also help meet the goal of educating the community through awareness of what Type 1 Diabetes is and the challenges to those who struggle with this disease.  The day features inflatables, face painting, food trucks, snow cones, swimming, a DJ at the lake, and many other fun surprises for the community to enjoy.  Plan to come and enjoy Dylan's Dash with family and friends.  After the race is over, stick around for a day of Family Fun and enjoy all that Caskeys Campground has to offer!
