We are happy to return for another year, so come run again with the three time Olympian, Brian Diemer on our flat, fast 5k course.  We are bringing back 6 live bands on our course, the kids runs, handcycle, My Team Triumph, and a large prize money purse. Per usual - if you beat Brian, you win a donut!

Two loops around the lake at Munroe Falls Metro Park on the paved path. The course is hilly and paved. We're simplifying the route slightly from previous years, by adding a short out and back on a service road (see map).  1.55 mile fun (untimed) walk option (1 loop)It's a great course for strollers and our four-legged friends.Everyone will get an amazing custom tech shirt and custom finishers medalWe'll have plenty of treats to enjoy at the finish line. Live DJ music.  We will celebrate all paces by giving out awards to our speedier guests and then cheering on those finishing later. This is the 10th year for our Jefferson County Humane Society 5K walk/run. The money raised during this event will go towards the animals in our community. The race course is challenging, but fun when you bring your best friend along.   This year, the race will be a GLOW run/walk!  Walkers will have a start time of 8:00 PM, and the runners will follow with a start time of 8:15 PM. The 5K course will take runners and walkers along the beautiful St. Joseph River and two Lake Michigan beaches. Participants will race along Silver Beach, Lions Park Beach and Howard Recreational Trail and then through the Whirlpool Compass Fountain. The race begins and ends at the Margaret Upton Arboretum. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. The non-competitive 1K fun run (0.62 miles) begins prior to the 5K. With volunteers cheering along the way, the children will follow a paved sidewalk and safe route. Celebrate the start of summer with a 5K for all ages! The Berry Fast 5K is run on scenic gravel trails around the family-owned 50-acre Blake’s Lyon Township property. The 5k race will take you through the orchard and includes a donut, glass of hard or sweet cider, t-shirt and commemorative glass. Strollers are permitted at your own discretion as the terrain is gravel. Kayak 1 mile, Bike 11 miles, Run 3 miles. Kayak, bike, and run the beautiful and historic Huron National Forest, beginning in Mio Pond of the Au Sable River in Mio and ending at Boney Park in Fairview, Michigan. The Au Sable Valley Triathlon is an individual or team event, consisting of kayaking on the River backwaters, biking on paved roads, and running on grass/ dirt trails. It has been described as an intermediate-level event in terms of difficulty. Past participants have found it a fun, low-key, friendly competition and have enjoyed participating with friends and family members. This welcoming 5K is designed for all ages and all paces—runners, joggers, walkers, families, and first-timers are all encouraged to join.  When you participate, you’re not just moving your body—you’re helping create a day of connection, laughter, and memories for local families. The Singleton Family, in partnership with the Meadowbrook Volleyball Team, is proud to host a 5K Run & Walk, 10K, and 15K in memory of our late sister, Captain Kiristi Jean Singleton. This event is more than just a race; it is a celebration of Kiristi’s life, leadership, and lasting impact on our family and community. As a captain, she led with strength, determination, and heart. She inspired those around her and her spirit continues to motivate us every day. We are calling this event “Run to Remember” because it is an opportunity for all of us to pause, reflect, and honor the loved ones who have gone before us, no matter the circumstance. Whether you run, walk, or simply come to support, we hope this day serves as a reminder that the lives and legacies of those we love to continue to shape us. Join GNBT for our annual kid's run: the Youth Mile.  All children in Greater New Bedford and Fall River are invited to run at the Cushman Park track on Green Street in Fairhaven.   Distance PK-K - 200m1st-2nd- 1 lap3rd-4th- 2 laps5th-6th- 3 laps7th-8th- 4 laps There will be snacks and activities (lawn games, tie dye, etc) for the runners before and after their event. The first 100 participants will receive a t-shirt. Sizes not guaranteed. Local high school students will support students in their race. Join us for the SHS XC “Glow the Distance” Fun Run on June 13, 2026! This is an evening rundesigned by two of the junior class athletes of Shenango’s Cross Country team. This run is topromote a healthy lifestyle, community bonding, and the love of our township. The run iscomparable to a 5K, but will be a fun path of our township, highlighting our high school and ourtownship park. Glow the Distance will first include a Kids Run, which will be open to childrenages 10 and under. Every participant in this race will win a medal upon completion of the run!Along with the children, there will be 7 additional age categories (11-15, 16-19, 20-30, 31-40,41-50, 51-60, 61+) that will run as one group, but will be broken into these groupings for the top3 runners of each age category to earn medals. This will encourage friendly competition andbonding within the community, and it will give people the opportunity to get moving outsideduring the summer! *Participant receives all risk for the course*

There will be 0.5 mile, 1 mile, and 2 mile races that will all be on the half mile triathlon course swim loop.
