Since 1980, The Walleye Run / Walk has been a part of the annual Walleye Weekend Festival at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, WI. COME TO RUN OR WALK. A high quality 5 mile run through Lakeside Park and the old UW FDL Campus area, or if you prefer, a 2-mile run through Lakeside Park.  For the younger runners, we offer a 1 mile novice run for children ages 12 and under and 1/3 mile runs for the running tots ages 6 and under.  For the walkers we offer a 3-mile recreational family walk through scenic Lakeside Park.

Registration: * Participants must register online in advance.  All registration will be completed online, there will be no paper registration.  Please complete your registration prior to arriving on site.* Pickup of your race bib and shirt prior to race day is strongly encouraged. This fun and healthy community event is for everyone.  Help us raise public awareness for our food pantry, Project Concern of Cudahy/St. Francis.   The 5K timed loop circles Sheridan Park in Cudahy, WI.  The coarse is flat and fast.   $40.00 per person.  Children under 12 are free if accompanied by an adult. Celebrate the 17th Annual Crossroads Trail Run!  Door County’s first trail run invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to choose a 2K, 5K, or 10K route at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve on June 13, 2026. Chip timing will support staggered starts by distance, with the 10K beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K approximately ten minutes later, and the 2K shortly after that. The awards ceremony will begin around 9:45 am. The 4th annual event is in memory of Connor James Smith who passed away at age 12, but loved being outdoors and being pushed in his wheelchair on runs with his mom. The Fauquier Education Farm 5K and Fun Run ia fundraiser to benefit the Fauquier Education Farm   (https://www.fauquiereducationfarm.org/ ) We are a 501(c)(3) whose mission is, in part, to advance agriculture through education and best method farming.  We also support the extended community by donating our ENTIRE harvest of produce to local food banks (over 500 tons of fresh produce in total). We rely almost exclusively on volunteers to plant and harvest our crops, and we rely 100% on donations and grants to finance this endeavor.

The 5K course will take runners and walkers along the beautiful St. Joseph River and two Lake Michigan beaches. Participants will race along Silver Beach, Lions Park Beach and Howard Recreational Trail and then through the Whirlpool Compass Fountain. The race begins and ends at the Margaret Upton Arboretum. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. The non-competitive 1K fun run (0.62 miles) begins prior to the 5K. With volunteers cheering along the way, the children will follow a paved sidewalk and safe route. Parents are encouraged to run with younger children. All participants will receive a race bib, rubber duck award and t-shirt. Join GNBT for our annual kid's run: the Youth Mile.  All children in Greater New Bedford and Fall River are invited to run at the Cushman Park track on Green Street in Fairhaven.   Distance PK-K - 200m1st-2nd- 1 lap3rd-4th- 2 laps5th-6th- 3 laps7th-8th- 4 laps There will be snacks and activities (lawn games, tie dye, etc) for the runners before and after their event. The Lake Frances Triple P (Paddle, Pedal, Pace) is a kayak triathlon which includes kayak (1.5 miles), bike (12 miles), & run (3 miles) legs. Celebrate the start of summer with a 5K for all ages! The Berry Fast 5K is run on scenic gravel trails around the family-owned 50-acre Blake’s Lyon Township property. The 5k race will take you through the orchard and includes a donut, glass of hard or sweet cider, t-shirt and commemorative glass. Strollers are permitted at your own discretion as the terrain is gravel. Please note, shirts sizes are on a first come, first serve basis and are not guaranteed to those registered less than 14-days prior to the event. Inventory is kept up to date during registration. Max's Race for The Davies Project 2026, our 21st annual in-person 5k run/walk, will be held on the beautiful campus of Michigan State University. Consider a scavenger hunt of Max's favorite things such as the moon, the color orange, or MSU's mascot Sparty to honor the legacy of Max who passed away at the age of 6 due to complications from meningitis.  Proceeds from the event will support free round-trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges. Saddle up for the Wild West 5K presented by BYOC at the Midwest Rodeo! This exciting 3.1-mile run takes place at the Genesee County Fairgrounds in Mt.
