Fox Valley Summer XC Classic 5KSaturday, June 13, 2026 | Geneva, ILPresented by Fox Valley Running The Fox Valley Summer XC Classic 5K is a true cross country–style race held at the Settler’s Hill Cross Country Course in Geneva, Illinois—one of the premier purpose-built cross country venues in the Midwest. Designed to host large local meets and regional championships, the course features an exceptionally wide 80-meter curved starting line with 40 starting boxes, a 550-meter starting straightaway, and a 250-meter finish straightaway. All loops utilize a 10-meter-wide grass running path, with common start and finish lines for all distances, creating a fair, fast, and welcoming racing experience for runners of all levels. The venue regularly hosts high school, collegiate, and championship-level competitions and was professionally measured in 2022, reinforcing its reputation as a premier racing facility built for competitive fields while remaining accessible to the broader running communit

Since 1980, The Walleye Run / Walk has been a part of the annual Walleye Weekend Festival at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, WI. COME TO RUN OR WALK. A high quality 5 mile run through Lakeside Park and the old UW FDL Campus area, or if you prefer, a 2-mile run through Lakeside Park.  For the younger runners, we offer a 1 mile novice run for children ages 12 and under and 1/3 mile runs for the running tots ages 6 and under.  For the walkers we offer a 3-mile recreational family walk through scenic Lakeside Park.

Celebrate the 17th Annual Crossroads Trail Run!  Door County’s first trail run invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to choose a 2K, 5K, or 10K route at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve on June 13, 2026. Chip timing will support staggered starts by distance, with the 10K beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K approximately ten minutes later, and the 2K shortly after that. The awards ceremony will begin around 9:45 am. About the Fall City Day Run 35th anniversary of our race! Beautiful, pancake flat and very fast course. The Kids TRYathlon is a community-centered youth athletic event that promotes physical fitness, confidence building and family engagement. Using the Lakeshore Natatorium, track and field facilities and bike paths, the TRYathlon is a multi-age, multi-skill experience for young people, ages 6-12. It consists of three components: swimming, biking and running. Participants are divided into three age groups to ensure appropriate challenge levels and safety. The Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival is back as a Poker Run in 2026! For riders, there will be the option of a short, long, and adventure route. Once again, the short and long courses are open for runners to sign up as well! Each route will have multiple poker chip stations at random locations. Riders and runners will collect a chip from each location and submit them to find out their poker hand.  The best poker hand will win various prize packages!  The ride/run is free to enter.  If you would like to make a donation to the trails, you can do so during the registration process or at any time by clicking the Donation button at the top of this page.  All proceeds from the donations will go to supporting the Maasto Hiihto/Churning Rapids and Swedetown trails.    Be on the lookout for some new additions to the courses and bonuses from sponsors this year!   Please note that this year's event is self-supported.  There may be pop-up aid stations. The Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5k will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. All events begin and end at the Brandt-Spalsbury Track & Field Facility (1211 Lohne Dr. Grand Ledge, MI 48837).   A 1 mile run for youth 13 & under starts at 8:00 AM and a 400m Kids Race begins at 8:30 AM.  Both events will take place on the track.  The 5k race begins at 8:45 AM on the track  and travels a well marked course through town before finishing on the track.  All proceeds go to benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation a 501(c)3 organization that works to provide extra funding for special projects within the Grand Ledge Public Schools classrooms. Catch the Spear-It! Our past participants say “ it’s a Great Beginners Triathlon, with Super Volunteers and free children’s activities to entertain your family while you race!” Triathletes will swim 350 yards in the seven-lane pool. Participants will swim one lap in each lane ducking under the lane marker to transfer to the next lane. Once the swim is complete, participants will exit the pool and head to the bike corral for the start of the 17-mile country road open course which takes place in Winnebago & Boone Counties. Triathletes will finish in the bike corral and begin the 3.1 run on the Campus trails which are a mix of blacktop & crushed limestone sections. The Plymouth Runway Mile and 5K are held at Plymouth Municipal Airport as a fundraising effort for AlphaFlight, a locally owned flight school that is based out of Plymouth.  Flight training is a costly endeavor and is often the largest hurdle that students must manage in order to pursue their dreams of becoming a pilot. All proceeds from Plymouth Runway will support scholarship opportunities for students through AlphaFlight. Both the Runway Mile and Runway 5K are competitive races with chip timing and overall/age group awards. Strollers are welcomed. Any child completing the course under their own power will need to be registered. If a child is being pushed in a stroller, that child does not need registered for the event. There will be numerous aircraft including airplanes and helicopters parked for participants and spectators to enjoy. There will also be an opportunity for helicopter rides (for a fee). About the Why Not Tri We're a great local triathlon to welcome beginners to the sport but also challenge the experienced athlete. Racers will complete a 400 yard swim, 8.5 mile bike, and a 5k cross country run. Join us for our adult solo or team relay race or get the little ones involved with our Kids Race for the budding triathletes ages 6-12.
