Welcome to the Annual Sayville Fire Department 5K Run\Walk.  This is a well-organized, fun event for competitive runners as well as casual runners/walkers and their supportive friends.  This race is a part of the Sayville Summer Series hosted by Sayville Running Company.  All monies go to Sayville Fire Department. It’s a great way to begin your Saturday morning as well as a great race to start your new running lifestyle. The 5K run/walk starts at 9:00 am. Our annual 5k race will take place on June 13, 2026! If you are unable to attend in person, we are offering a virtual option again for this year. In Person Event: If you've attended our 5k in the past, it will be organized as our previous events were.  If this is your first time, here's some info! Rose City Track Club is proud to present the 9th annual Rose City Mile! Our mission is to provide a fun and accessible opportunity for runners of all ages and abilities to test their fitness. Join us on Saturday, June 13 at Franklin High School in southeast Portland for a track meet like no other. We believe that everyone has a place in the running community that is respectful, safe, and inclusive. On race day we present awards in men's, women's, and non-binary categories. Participants who select either "Non-Binary" or "Prefer Not to Say" during sign up will be eligible for the non-binary awards category. Online registration closes at midnight on Thursday, June 11. Mid Mountain 50KThe race course begins with a loop at Deer Valley, where it then follows the iconic Mid Mountain Trail for nearly 20 miles, to its terminus.  There is one last uphill push before a long, winding descent down through the Utah Olympic Park trail system. Jupiter Peak 25KThis is a Park City favorite with an elevation profile that resembles an inverted “V” (for vertical!) A 16-mile loop from Park City Mountain Resort (7,000′) to the top of Jupiter Peak (10,000′) and back down. Round Valley Rambler100% of the course takes place on prime, buff single and double track in Round Valley which sits at an altitude between 6,500’ and 7100′. While athletes will find the trails foot-friendly, the rolling, high-desert terrain presents a few long and steady climbs followed by fast downhills. Join us for the Shenandoah Coal Cracker 10K! The Coal Cracker 10k is an iconic running event nestled in the heart of the Coal Region. Beginning in the center of Shenandoah (PA), runners take off through downtown Shenandoah before being met with the first of many challenging hills. The course then takes the runners through the twists, turns, and gently rolling hills of the Coal Region before taking a left turn up the infamous St. Nick's breaker. Runners will test their grit and endurance as they face this steep, seemingly endless hill. Once at the top, runners will have a 1 mile cruise downhill back into town where the finish line waits atop a short but nasty incline! This fun event has something for everyone! The USATF certified course  begins and ends at the Intervale Trail Head of The Jackson River Scenic Trail in Covington, Virginia. The trail follows an old railroad bed of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The course has a smooth crushed gravel surface and is mostly flat with some light hills. The trail follows its namesake river, winding it's way through small communities, cultivated fields, and small patches of woodland. It isn't uncommon to see wildlife along the way.   WEATHER This is a rain or shine event.  In the case of severely inclement weather, announcements regarding the race status will be made on the website (www.jacksonrivermarathon.com), on Facebook and via local media.  If there is sufficient advanced notice of a severe weather event, notices will also be sent via the email submitted with your registration.   AWARDS All finishers receive a commemorative finisher's medal. The purpose of the Fathers and Families race event is to promote the vital role fathers play as a stabilizing presence in the home and community. Hosted by A Father’s Legacy, Inc., the Second Annual Fathers and Families Fun Walk/Run raises awareness and support for programs that empower both young and mature fathers to build strong families and thriving communities. The race will be held at the beautiful Pratt Park 120 River Rd, Fredericksburg. Tall Turf Ministries is holding its third annual 5K race!  We have continued improving our 5k course which integrates several of our trails, allowing runners to see and experience God's creation on our beautiful property located on Campbell Lake, in Oceana County.  We are also including a virtual event for those not able to attend!

Each year, more than 2,000 runners take part in this beloved event, racing along the Parkway’s iconic red, white, and blue road stripe. Whether you’re competing for a prize or running just for fun, your participation helps support one of the community’s most cherished traditions—all proceeds benefit the Gaspee Days Parade.   RACE DETAILS The race starts at 9:30 AM sharp on Broad Street at Chiswick Road, Cranston, RI. The course spans 5K (3.1 miles) and was bicycle calibrated by Ray Nelson. It runs south on Broad Street into Warwick onto Narragansett Parkway then turns at General Hawkins Drive and returns north. The race finish line is just past the Parade reviewing stand at Rhodes Place. Timing and results are coordinated by Spitler Race Systems. The 5K course will take runners and walkers along the beautiful St. Joseph River and two Lake Michigan beaches. Participants will race along Silver Beach, Lions Park Beach and Howard Recreational Trail and then through the Whirlpool Compass Fountain. The race begins and ends at the Margaret Upton Arboretum. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. The non-competitive 1K fun run (0.62 miles) begins prior to the 5K. With volunteers cheering along the way, the children will follow a paved sidewalk and safe route. Greetings from Maple Avenue Ministries! We are excited to host our annual Juneteenth Freedom 5K Run/Walk on June 13, 2026, celebrating freedom, equality, and community well-being. A part of our mission is to embrace our community in all aspects, including better health.  The 5k serves as a way to encourage healthier living and is fundraiser for Maple Avenue Ministries.

This is the 10th year for our Jefferson County Humane Society 5K walk/run. The money raised during this event will go towards the animals in our community. The race course is challenging, but fun when you bring your best friend along.   This year, the race will be a GLOW run/walk!  Walkers will have a start time of 8:00 PM, and the runners will follow with a start time of 8:15 PM. Registration on the day of the event will open at 7:30 pm. Free T-shirt with registry only until June 6th. Packet pickup will be held on race day from 7:00 pm to the start of the race.
