Welcome to the Annual Sayville Fire Department 5K Run\Walk.  This is a well-organized, fun event for competitive runners as well as casual runners/walkers and their supportive friends.  This race is a part of the Sayville Summer Series hosted by Sayville Running Company.  All monies go to Sayville Fire Department. It’s a great way to begin your Saturday morning as well as a great race to start your new running lifestyle. The 5K run/walk starts at 9:00 am. The kids will enjoy doing the Fun Run which starts at 8:30 a.m.  On the day of the event, we will be selling tickets for our Auction.

Run for the Ages 5k is a fundraiser for community programs that benefit individuals our local kids and seniors. All proceeds from the race will go to Big, Brothers, Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks and the Glens Falls Senior Center. This fun event has something for everyone! The USATF certified course  begins and ends at the Intervale Trail Head of The Jackson River Scenic Trail in Covington, Virginia. The trail follows an old railroad bed of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The course has a smooth crushed gravel surface and is mostly flat with some light hills. The trail follows its namesake river, winding it's way through small communities, cultivated fields, and small patches of woodland. It isn't uncommon to see wildlife along the way.   WEATHER This is a rain or shine event.  In the case of severely inclement weather, announcements regarding the race status will be made on the website (www.jacksonrivermarathon.com), on Facebook and via local media.  If there is sufficient advanced notice of a severe weather event, notices will also be sent via the email submitted with your registration.   AWARDS All finishers receive a commemorative finisher's medal. Join us for an engaging event in downtown Tulsa and at ONEOK Field, home of the Drillers. Each year, the 10K Road Race gets the Market Square Day celebration off on the right foot. With a starting line in the heart of Downtown Portsmouth, the Race typically draws nearly 1,000 runners who wind their way through the streets of Portsmouth ending with the finish line at historic Strawbery Banke.In 2005, we joined forces with other area races to create the Seacoast Road Race Series. From May through November, runners participate in races ranging in distance from 5K – 10K in communities throughout the Seacoast. Myles for a Mission 5K - The mission of the 5k is to raise awareness of childhood drowning prevention.  This race is held to honor the memory of Myles Davis Pope.  Myles tragically passed away just shy of his 2nd birthday due to a drowning accident.  Our mission is to raise money and awareness to prevent and educate others of childhood drownings.  Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1-4, and the second leading cause of unintentional death for children ages 5-14. Children five years old and younger are especially vulnerable, representing 75% of child drowning deaths.  Boys are also more than twice as likely to drown as girls.   All proceeds will be donated to the Myles Davis Pope Memorial Fund. Welcome Red Wagon Runners This is our 9th year and we continue to improve it a little more every year. The in person 5k and a 1 mile races will be timed and there are also virtual options ranging from the 5K distance up to the full marathon distance. A Nighttime Run/Walk to Benefit Broken Together and the Pontiac Elks Lodge 1019 Veterans Fund Race around the golf course at The Oaks at River's Edge in Pontiac, IL at night in this 5K Run / 1.5 Mile Walk.  There will be a Flag Day ceremony at 7:00pm and the race will start at 9:00pm.  After the race there will be an awards ceremony, including music on the patio.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Lace Up for Parks, Trails and Open Space at the 1st annual 5K run & Walk.  Adventurously enjoy a a 5K run through the trails at Heritage Park in Homer Glen. The event will be a fun filled, family friendly race for competitive runners, recreational athletes and kids.  The course will be run on the trails  at Heritage Park in Homer Glen.   The course is being developed.  It will be run on the trails at the park and be 5K (3.1 Miles) with multiple laps.  Part of the course may be run on grass too. The date has been set for the 2026 the Heart & Sole Triathlon! Established in 2004, this race is open to ages 15 & up is a sprint triathlon consisting of a 400 yard swim in our indoor heated pool, a 15 mile bike ride through beautiful Woodford County and historic downtown Versailles, and a 3.1 mile run on a beautiful and challenging cross-country course.  Our race is great for beginners & experienced triathletes, and many use it as the kick-off to the triathlon season. New this year, we have a Family Relay Division and a Sponsorship Business Division!

Are you ready to get colorful for a great cause? The PACU Foundation’s Flying Colors Charity 5K and Fun Run is a dynamic, community-focused event that centers around a timed 5K (8 a.m. start) in which participants are doused with safe, food-based color powder at various points throughout the course. This is a family and beginner friendly six mile run through the trails of Waverly Park.  We'll start at the playground and make our way winding through Waverly Park.  The Mothman is a cryptid who follows is said to be a red-eyed humanoid winged creature seen by some as a harbinger of doom. Mothman sighting accounts come from across West Virginia and Kentucky, to the greater Appalachian region. From the 1960's to present day sightings continue to be reported.  Awards Each race will have awards for Overall Male / Female / Non-Binary Winners.
