Alamosa Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 6th annual “Valley Bottom Rio Trio”; an adventure-style triathlon race within the City of Alamosa! This fully chip-timed race will feature an 8-mile trail bike ride, a 3-mile paddle on the Rio Grande, and a 5k+ run. Participants will be given the option of doing all three legs of the race solo or as part of a 3-person relay team. Bring your own boat or rent a kayak or standup paddleboard from us (limited quantities available)! This year's race will take place on the morning of Saturday, June 6th. An outdoor awards ceremony and lunch will be served by local food vendors following the race. This year's event will also be a part of the city's Riofest, which includes live music, craft vendors, food, beer, and an outdoor expo. A kids' race will be offered on June 7th, 9:30am at Blanca Vista Pond.

Welcome to the second year of the I am Me Jamboree! CHECK-IN: 7:30am Race Start Time: 9:00am I am Me Jamboree is open to all abilities, all ages, and all paces! The event features two (2) different event courses!! These courses support the inclusion of individuals with physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities to fully participate in a race event! There is a 0.5k and 5k walk/run/roll course in downtown Columbus, Indiana!!  Whether one can participate unassisted, or one needs assistive devices (walker, cane, wheelchair, crutches, supports, scooter, etc.) to complete a course, all are welcome!! At least two (2) hours will be allotted to complete either of the event courses. This removes the stringent minimum mile pace requirement that prevents many from being able to participate in other races. The 0.5k event is approximately 0.3 miles and the 5k is 3.1 miles. The proceeds from this event will benefit an organization that supports and advocates for individuals with disabilities. A

Let's get walking or running or riding starting 6/6/26-6/14/26 to raise awareness and funds for 22q.  This virtual event will kick-off on Saturday, June 6 in your community, on your treadmill, or wherever you exercise.  Whether you sign up to run, walk, or bike, let's get moving and feel united throughout the week.  Be sure to share your photos on social media and tag us @22qfamily and use the #run22for22q.  We will also be offering an in-person event again in Erie, CO with the hopes of eventually expanding to more locations in the future. 22q is the SECOND MOST COMMON genetic disorder after Down Syndrome, yet it's less known and harder to diagnose.  22q has a rate of occurrence in 1 in 2,000 births and is found in 1 of 68 children born with a heart defect! 60-75% of all individuals with 22q have a heart defect, 75% have differences in their palate that affect their speech and often create nasal regurgitation,35% have significant feeding and swallowing problems,77% have

This event brings together the community to support scholarships for anyone who identifies as a woman and is seeking treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. These funds bridge financial gaps for committed participants in treatment programs. With over 57 years of service, our nonprofit's mission is to foster purpose, meaningful relationships, and healthy recovery.

Heart of Eastford's 5K returns 2026!! We are so excited to see everyone race day! Last year we set a new record, and we look forward to smashing the record this year. All proceeds go to a/or individual/individuals in need and the other portion goes to help Eastford Food Pantry. Every year these funds help over 20 families in need. The first Heather's Home was established in November of 2009 in Haiti by John and Heather Earley of Erin, NY. A second home is open in Ghana now in cooperation with Love Aflame! Worldwide. The Rat Race was started in honor of US Navy SEAL Tom Ratzlaff of Green Forest, AR. This event remembers the 31 heroes lost on 8-6-2011 during Extortion 17. Race will start and end at Green Forest School in Green Forest, Arkansas. Runners must check in from 7:00am to 7:45 A.M. Opening Ceremony at 7:45. Race will start at 8:06 A.M. Although this is a 5k, if running is not your thing, you are more than welcome to complete the race at any pace comfortable to you. For the competitive runners, Awards to the Top 3 Male and Females. Certificates to the following age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up. Cost is $30.00 per entry. Sign up a team of 4 or more and receive a $10 discount on your registration.   Proceeds from this race will benefit the Ratzlaff Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Good Grief Programs in area schools. This USA Triathlon sanctioned triathlon at Coconut Cove RV Resort in southwest Wisconsin is a fundraiser for brain cancer research in honor of the late Dennis Dietzel. Funds raised will be donated directly to glioblastoma (GBM) research at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. There will be a youth race at 12 pm on Saturday followed by sprint and olympic distance adult races on Sunday. This early summer event is perfect for first-timers as well as competitive triathletes. The race starts with a calm, clean lake swim in the lake at Coconut Cove RV Resort. Riders will then be challenged with a hilly bike on quiet and beautiful country roads in Grant County. The run is rolling, and finishes on a path around the lake with an optional slip n slide at the finish line! All finishers will receive finish line food/drinks, a water bottle and finisher medal. There will be awards for the top 3 overall male and female finishers, as well as the top 3 finishers in each division.

This event will take place during Shawano Sundrop Dayz on Saturday, June 6, 2026.  A registration tent will be set up on E. Elizabeth St. just West of Lincoln St. Registration and check in will begin at 7:30 am with the 5K Run/Walk beginning at 9:00 am. Take a bike tour of Fitchburg's local breweries, including the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company, Delta Beer Lab, and Hop Haus Brewing Company. This ride will give riders an opportunity to explore local bike trails along the way and discover what makes Fitchburg a top biking destination! Each stop will have snacks and beer samples to try (for those 21+), and swag giveaways. Every brewery has non-alcoholic beverages available, too! Race the Countryside 10k!   In person Countryside 10k: Registration: online registration only and closes Saturday June 6th 7:15 a.m. Course: start/finish at Witt Park, Sidney. Once runners leave the park they will be on country roads. There will be volunteers at most intersections and arrows on pavement. Giving Back Since 2011 The Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars 5K is held annually to honor those law enforcement officers across this country who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while following their call to serve and protect our communities.  We hope you can join us to help reach our goal of over 1500 participants this year.  Revenue generated from the race is entrusted to the Hotsinpiller Foundation to provide scholarships for those who wish to pursue or enhance their law enforcement career, support local law enforcement agencies and their mission, and assist injured officers and their families.

Each June, the CAMC Foundation holds the CAMC Foundation Run for Your Life 5-Mile Run/2.5-Mile Walk. All proceeds from the event benefit colorectal cancer awareness and screening initiatives to help people who cannot otherwise afford critical screening procedures in our community. Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer, and the second deadliest in both men and women combined in the United States.  The 5 mile run and 2.5 mile walk begins at Haddad Riverfront Park, takes runners and walkers through the streets of Charleston and returns to the park to finish. Each year, more than 400 runners and walkers come out to enjoy a morning of physical activity, music along the event course, refreshments at the finish line, and support a good cause.
