What do you get when you combine trail running, random beers, and your most competitive (and possibly least coordinated) friends? The Cottonmouth Beerlay, baby! This wild race at the beautiful Lakewood Nature Preserve is back for another year of glorious chaos, beer-fueled miles, and unforgettable memories. You can run it solo if you're a one-person party machine, or grab a few beer-loving buddies and tackle it as a relay team of 2–4. Either way, you're in for 8 miles of pure, ridiculous fun. Are you fast enough to outrun the Cottonmouth? Or will the beer bite first?  🐾 How It Works: Each lap is a 2-mile trail loop through the preserve. You’ll do it 4 times total. The Human Race is a community fundraising event for non-profit organizations in the Sioux Empire Area.  The Human Race will feature a 5K run and a 1 mile fun walk.   Each runner or walker will choose one of the nonprofits to benefit by receiving 75% of the registration fee.   No registration fees will be refunded.

Saving Grace is on a mission and needs your help!  We are a women's home that aids women with faith based recovery from drug and abuse to influence positive life changing growth with a lifelong impact.   If you can't join us in person on the day of the race, you may choose to participate in the virtual 5K opportunity by walking or running a course of your choosing while still supporting Saving Grace's mission. The annual running of the Erin's Purpose 5k.  Erin’s Purpose was founded in June 2018 by Terri Neighbors after her daughter, Erin, took her life at the age of 13.  In August 2020, a house was purchased in Bloomfield where the following services are offered:- Christian Counseling- Teen bible studies- A place for teen gatherings or small groups to meet- Public speaking in schools and other organizations about mental health and suicide prevention.  Awards will be given out for female and male age groups of all ages.  Competitive walk awards will be given to overall male and female winner.  All participants of the kids race will receive an award.  There will also be giveaways at the event.

Choose between a fun 1 mile walk/run or a 5k. The 1 mile route will run around the Culver Schools Corporation and the 5k route will run through downtown Culver. The race will start at the front of Culver Community High School, Door 32. Both routes will finish on the Culver Middle/High School football field. This will be a fun run with several color stations manned by our athletes ready to toss color powder on you as you pass by! 7th Annual Clinton Classic 5K at Rock Creek Park, Lewisburg TN. All proceeds are donated to the ALS Association.    The Clinton Classic was started in 2020 in memory of Ruby Calahan who lost her battle to ALS in 2018. Her family chooses to honor her life by hosting the Clinton Classic each year. All proceeds from the race are donated to the ALS Association in hopes of funding research and finding a cure. Over the years, we have added many names to the list of those we run in memory of who have lost their lives to this terrible disease. Join us this year in support of this great cause! Chase and Cole Fischer were two brothers who tragically passed away July of 2023. They were both avid runners on the Villa Cross Country Team. The Old West End Stampede is back and even more fun! Come join in on the excitement of the Old West End Festival by running the Old West End Parade Route right before the Parade! Feel the thrill of having hundreds of spectators cheer you on as you run down the Historic Streets of the Old West End! Join in on the pageantry of the King Wamba Parade and wear as much Swag/Flair as you want! Stick around after to enjoy the Parade, celebrate with the race winners, and take in the Old West End Festival! Dart for Head Start 5K Run & Walk Join the Ohio Valley Educational Foundation (OVEF) for its 3rd Annual Dart for Head Start 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk, a fun, family-friendly event for a great cause! We’re excited to be back and aiming for bigger and better than ever as we lace up our sneakers at Tom Sawyer Park on June 6, 2026. Participants can choose between a 5K run or an 1 mile walk, both taking place the same morning. This event is perfect for runners, walkers, families, and supporters of all ages. In addition to the race, we’ll have a DJ, yard games for kids and a playground nearby, making it a great outing for the whole family. *** Please note this is a FUN RUN COMMUNITY EVENT! If you’re unable to join us in person, we invite you to register for the virtual option and participate on your own time along your favorite route. This event is held in loving memory of Alexis and in the spirit of her generosity and selflessness. Through this race, we work to ensure local children receive the resources they need and deserve—providing food, community clothing drives, scholarships to local camps and clubs, and other everyday necessities we often take for granted. Come join us for our Second Annual Mountain Memories 5K. This is going to be held during Frenchburg’s infamous Mountain Memories Festival on backstreet. There will be local vendors and food available after the race.

Ricky Moyer loved many things in life, including farming, weight-lifting (all exercise really) and practicing law.  He was a devoted husband and father with countless friends in each of these industries. Always putting others before himself, he was generous, kind and always quick to offer words of wisdom. Over the years Rick competed in dozens of 5K races, often with his family in town. With his favorite season upon us, we are choosing to honor Rick’s legacy featuring his very favorite event - a Pump & Run and 5K walk/run. As he would often say to family and friends in regard to these friendly physical competitions - “pain is weakness leaving the body.” Our goal remains the same and we look forward to giving out our first scholarship to any Clinton County student interested in furthering their education in Agriculture, Criminal Justice or History.

The Smoky Mountain Wheelmen proudly present the 24th Edition of the Cherohala Challenge.  The event offers three distinctive rides that almost anyone can find a ride that will fit their skill level with rides of  35, 62, and 115 miles.  Join us Saturday, June 6, for breathtaking views and pride inducing climbs on one of three world class routes. The 2026 edition moves the start/finish to Vonore to enhance, safety, new routes, and a new overall experience!   The title event, the Cherohala Challenge Century, is not for the faint of heart. This once in a lifetime ride tests riders with 115 miles and 10,350ft of climbing across two states. Riders begin in Vonore heading climb to Deals Gap and brave the fabled 318 curves of the Tail of the Dragon. After besting the beast, riders will descend the mountain into the Joyce Kilmer Forest near Robbinsville, North Carolina. The DU Dash is a virtual run, walk, or ride hosted by Ducks Unlimited, Inc., supporting waterfowl and wetlands conservation. Join us and "put some throttle in your waddle" to support waterfowl, wetlands, and clean water! Do the Dash on your own time and on your own course between June 6th and June 14th.  You can support the cause by participating in the 5k or 10k Run/Walk.  Not a runner, no worries.  Sign up for the 5k Any Way, and you can bike, swim, rollerblade, jump in your boat, ATV, kayak, or whatever.  There is no limit to how you can support wetlands, waterfowl, and clean water!

LOVE like JJ 5K Run and Walk Saturday, June 6, 2026 8:30 am Corwin Nixon Park, Mason, OH   On June 6, 2026 we will be hosting our Annual LOVE like JJ 5k to benefit LOVE like JJ! This year’s event will again have both In Person and Virtual options, you can walk or run - however and wherever it works best for you! Our event was created to celebrate JJ's bright light, and fundraise so LOVE like JJ can continue spreading joy and supporting children in our community.    Benefit: Race proceeds will go to support the great work of LoveLikeJJ, a 501(c)(3) organization. Love like JJ believes the best investment we can make is in our children and to ensure they all have fulfilled basic needs and the opportunity to succeed. Join us for the 3rd annual running of Chase the Dream!  The out-and-back glow-in-the-dark course starts and finishes at Bailey Park. All proceeds from the race support the Dream Center.  We are helping to restore dreams by providing resources, counseling and long term guidance.  We offer food and clothing assistance as well as counseling and other restorative programs.  We are excited about partnering with local churches and businesses to help see our community changed.
