The 14th annual Boxer Brief 5K Run/Walk brings together colorectal cancer survivors, patients, family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to energize efforts to prevent and defeat our country's number one cancer killer in men under age 50 and the nations second cancer killer in men and women combined. Colorectal cancer is a preventable and beatable. The proceeds support the work of Hitting Cancer Below the Belt to continue their screening and educational services. To date, Running of the Pink has raised nearly $400,000 for cervical and breast cancer awareness and breast cancer research in the Jamestown, ND area.  Over $56,000 was raised in Running of the Pink 18, 2025 alone! 100% of Running of the Pink proceeds stay LOCAL! The Union Farmer’s Day 5k, 10k and 1 mile Fun Walk is back  to kick start your Saturday Farmer’s Day festivities! The race begins on Main Street in Union, WV and proceeds to Willow Bend Road to return to the finish line back on Main Street. This year proceeds will benefit the Fred Walker Memorial Fund. The Recreation Advisory Board will host a family-friendly 5K/3K walk/run as part of National Trails Day.  Designed to raise funds to support the maintenance of current greenways and the development of new greenways throughout Wake Forest, the National Trails Day 5K/3K is a timed walk/run for both children and adults. The JR Taylor 5K is a family friendly event, run or walked on the Montour Trail.  It begins 800 feet north of the trail’s J. R. Taylor Memorial Bridge over Clifton Road in Bethel Park, near Washington Elementary School and Al's Cafe. We have special pricing of $15 for ages 17 and under! The Watsontown JesVic 5K was started in 2007 by Shannon (Hoffman) Pyles and Suzie (Wade) Watts to honor two community women, Jessica Wade and Vicki Hitesman, who both passed away from cancer. Jessica was a blue-eyed, athletic 20-year-old, a graduate of Warrior Run High School, who pursued a college degree. Among her many goals was to run a marathon someday. The other—a former nurse who touched the lives of the patients and their families from her early days at Williamsport Hospital and Kramm’s Nursing Home. She was a survivor of Hodgkin’s disease. Her youngest son played baseball, her oldest ran cross country at Warrior Run. Vicki and her husband (who is also a runner) supported the cross-country team, and all their sons’ endeavors.Both had touched the lives of those in their community and in their workplace. $20 EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION Through April 30, 2026!  Quota of Indiana, PA is hosting its 10th Annual 5k fundraising event, both in-person and virtually. With over 50 active members, we have strived to benefit our community for the last 70 years. Quotarians are known especially for their service to deaf, hard-of-hearing and speech impaired individuals, and disadvantaged women and children. The Quota 5k Run/Walk is an event that promotes healthy living and the funds raised benefit our scholarships - the Gold Scholarship and the IUP Speech and Hearing Scholarship. The in-person 5K will take place at the Hoodlebug Trail on Saturday, June 6th. Day of registration begins at 8:00 AM with the race starting promptly at 9:00 AM. If you can't join us on race day, the virtual option will take place from June 6th - June 20th. Walkers or Runners can participate from any place at anytime they prefer between those dates. You can walk or run on a trail, a track or a treadmill - wherever you want!

Come out and join us for some family fun! This is a timed 5K race through Stroudsburg as we honor Trooper Joshua Miller, PSP #8819. This is a fast and PR friendly course. There are several age categories. If you are not up for a run, then you can just walk the course too.  The 5K will take place on June 6, 2026, this year which is the day before Trooper Miller sacrificed his life to save a little boy that has now grown up into a terrific young man.  So please consider participating in this event and showing the Miller and PSP family some much appreciated support!  There is a separate category for children under 12 to register for free.  BATTLE OF THE BADGES AND THE CADENCE RUN ARE BACK! The Human Race is a community fundraising event for non-profit organizations in the Sioux Empire Area.  The Human Race will feature a 5K run and a 1 mile fun walk.   Each runner or walker will choose one of the nonprofits to benefit by receiving 75% of the registration fee.   No registration fees will be refunded.

Bashore Bash 6HR & 12 HR Ultra The course is located in the Blue Mountains on the trails of the Bashore Scout Reservation in northern Lebanon county. The trails consist of mostly single track technical trail with some double track. You will experience tree roots, rocks, dirt, mud, and all things nature as you wind your way through and around the trail. There will be plenty of shade. Loop distance will be determined closer to race depending on trail conditions  but will be around 3.5 miles depending on trail conditons. You get to choose how many loops you want to complete. Perfect for every level of runner!

The 48th Annual Classic Formerly the White River 4 Mile Classic and HealthSouth 4 Mile Classic, this race is now named for Andy Buschmann, the local running man seen everywhere about town trotting out the miles in his steady gait. He and his buddy Jack Heston ran every version of the race since its founding in 1978 until COVID took Andy from us in 2021. The AB4MC course is USATF certified. Proceeds from the race are donated to local charities serving Independence County.   Parking:There is ample parking at City Hall and in parking lots throughout the Main Street area.  Start/Finish: The race will begin at 8 am. The race starts and finishes on Main Street with parking and setup near City Hall.   Timing:Chip timing will be by OK Timing Plus Race Route: The route runs downhill through Batesville's historic residential and downtown districts, with a couple of substantial climbs through nearby neighborhoods mid-race.  Packet Pick Up: Early packet pickup will be in the parking lot at 500

Acting as the non-profit arm of K9 Freedom Professional Dog Training, they specialize in rehabilitating dogs, including those with high energy or behavioral issues, for active lifestyles.

We hope to see you Saturday June 6th at the Run for the Glasses Half Marathon/ 10K / 5K & dog jog races!!! This will be the 1st event in the Valley Running Club Festival of Races!!   All courses will be run out and back on the scenic Honey Hole Road.  Start and Finish is located at the Honey Hole Winery. The official Gun Start will be at 7:00 a.m. for the Half Marathon and 7:30 for the 5K & 10K Races. The start line will remain open for 10 Min to allow for late starts.  Gun time will be used for overall awards / Chip time will be used for age group awards.
