The Steamworks Half Marathon will take place in the San Juan Mountains on Saturday June 6, 2026 . This high-elevation, 13.1 mile race will take place at 6,500 feet above sea level. Dee Smith, a lifetime Ogden resident and a Weber County leader, was a proponent of keeping our community safe. As a former county prosecutor, leader, mentor, and teacher, Dee was a diligent civil leader to local law enforcement officers. Dee passed away unexpectedly in June 2021 and left behind a legacy of hard work along with his amazing family and countless friends. Dee was passionate about being active and loved biking, running, hiking, and any outdoor activity under the "Blue Dome." He lived life to the fullest, by living "his dash," and is greatly missed. The purpose of the race is to honor Dee's memory and a make a thoughtful donation to support local programs important to Dee. over the last 3 years over $80,000 in race proceeds have gone to various Local law enforcement agencies, Weber State University for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice scholarship programs. Andy Buschmann 4-Mile Classic

Batesville, AR
The 48th Annual Classic Formerly the White River 4 Mile Classic and HealthSouth 4 Mile Classic, this race is now named for Andy Buschmann, the local running man seen everywhere about town trotting out the miles in his steady gait. He and his buddy Jack Heston ran every version of the race since its founding in 1978 until COVID took Andy from us in 2021. The AB4MC course is USATF certified. The Celebrate! West Hartford FUNd RUNS are the most family-friendly fitness runs in the Greater Hartford region. Menlo Park Kids Triathlon

The Menlo Park Kids Triathlon (“MPKT”) is a triathlon specifically for kids ages from 4 to 17 years old. A triathlon is a race that consists of a combination of three sports: swimming, cycling, and running. The kids start the race with swimming at the Burgess Pool in waves (triathlon speak for groups) of 20 to 25  kids. From the swim, they run to the transition area to put on their helmets, shoes, and anything else they need. They then mount their bikes and head out to the bike course. When the kids are done with the bike, they head back to transition to put their bike away, and head to run round Burgess Park. They finish the race in the park by crossing through the finishing chute!

Vermont Dairy Festival Milk Run

10k loop starts after the bridge on West Enosburg Road, just off Main Street and continues to Hayes Farm Road-Davis Road-Boston Post Road-Rte 105 for 1/3 mile - then enter the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail for 2.4 miles to Enosburg Village and ends at Lincoln Park on Main Street in Enosburg. Walkers start at 8:30 a.m.  Runners start at 9:00 a.m. Registration in advance is $30.00 per entrant.  Advance registration closes on June 1st. Dashing for Donuts 5K Fun Run and 1 mile Kids Race

Placerville, CA
I will be holding the fourth annual, Dashing for Donuts 5K and kids 1 mile fun run on June 7th! We will be running the same course as last year. It will be held on the El Dorado Trail from the new bridge at Missouri Flat Road. It is an out and back race. Once you're finished, you get a donut and a medal. The 5K race will happen first and then we will have the kids 1 mile race.   All proceeds from the race will go to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, (NOCC) -Team Teal. I am a 16 year survivor of ovarian cancer and a team member of NOCC - Team Teal. NOCC helps all women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and educates along with supporting them.   Packet pick-up will be at Kaia Fit, 4615 Missouri Flat Road #5, 4 pm to 5:30 pm on Friday, June 5th or 8:30 am to 10 am on Saturday, June 6th. Come join us and support our Military in our 18th Annual WW Military Miles 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon in Keller Texas. It starts and finishes in front of Keller City Hall Building.  The event benefits two charities: Fisher House Foundation and  WWP.  The “Happenings” begin at 6:45am with the Half Marathon corral followed by the 10K and then the 5K. SAVE THE DATE!The 25th Annual Worcester Firefighters’ 6k is set for Sunday, June 7th, 2026. After the Worcester Cold Storage Fire on Dec 3, 1999, this road race was created as a living memorial to those men known as the “Worcester Six” – Paul Brotherton, Jerry Lucey, Tim Jackson, Tom Spencer, Jay Lyons and Joe McGuirk. Sadly, the Worcester Fire Department has had three other members die in the Line of Duty since 1999. Jon Davies in 2011, Chris Roy in 2018 and Jason Menard in 2019. This race continues on to remember their memories and dedication to the City of Worcester. The Worcester Firefighter’s 6k Road Race is more than just a road race – it’s a block party atmosphere with a BBQ inside Institute Park. Prior to the 6k and 3K walk, there is a Kids 1k for children under the age of 12. The Worcester Firefighters’ 6k is a family friendly event to kick off the summer season.
