Welcome to the First Annual Climb the Mine Hike in Hibbing, Minnesota. This one-of-a-kind community hike begins at the Greyhound Bus Museum & through Historic Old Hibbing, where the roots of our mining town first took hold more than a century ago. From there, participants will make their way through the heart of Hibbing and gradually climb to the breathtaking overlook at the Hull-Rust-Mahoning Mine View. At the finish, you will stand at what is often called the world’s largest open-pit iron ore mine, known as the “Grand Canyon of the North.” The climb is steady and rewarding, ending with one of the most incredible views on the Iron Range. Come join the fun!  This is the 4th Run for Foxy Roxie 5k.  It's a memorial race for Roxanne Pickrell ("Foxy Roxie"), the late daughter of Jason and Cathy Pickrell.  Roxie passed in 2019, at age 13, after a brief battle with brain cancer.  This race is a way to honor her memory and give back to our community through her non-profit, the Roxanne Pickrell Memorial Fund.  Our mission is to #supportacause.  We fundraise to donate to our LOCAL non-profits!  It's a fun event with cool t-shirts and awards!  This year we will be in a new location.  It will start and finish in Downtown Owensboro at Smother's Park Overlook Stage.  A part of the race will take you down Frederica Street.  We have also added a 1 mile race and a Kid's Dash!  Proceeds from this year's 5k will support the Owensboro Fire Department, Hose Handlers in the upcoming Puzzle Pieces Lip Sync Battle.

The John Andrews Memorial 5K is a signature fundraising event of the Eastern Trail Alliance, a nonprofit that builds, maintains, and promotes the Eastern Trail, southern Maine's premier multi-use greenway. Join us on Saturday, May 30, 2026 for a timed 3.1 mile trail run or walk along the scenic Eastern Trail followed by an awards ceremony to celebrate and acknowledge the top finishers. This race is hosted by NC AAZK, the North Carolina Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers. Join us for a 3K walk/ 5K run for mental health! We're encouraging the community of Doniphan County to band together in this cause. Partnering with the Kanza Mental Health Guidance Center, the proceeds will go towards local care.

The reason for this race: Miles Jacobsen is 10 years old and currently in 4th grade. His family moved to KC in 2021 when his dad was hired as the Lead Teaching Pastor at Heartland Community Church off Strang Line Rd in Olathe. Miles Jacobsen is one of the many kids in Kansas City battling a brain tumor. Days after his 9th birthday in March 2024, he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. After a long year of chemotherapy, Miles is now awaiting the development of more targeted therapy that will help him fight the growth of this tumor. Despite these challenges, Miles is a joyful and active kid whose positive outlook has inspired hundreds, if not thousands, of people since his diagnosis. His heart beats strong for people of all ages who are enduring their own cancer journeys, and he’s always looking to lift other people’s spirits. To join CKF's 2026 Charity team, please ensure you have spoken with our staff at info@chrisklugfoundation.org to complete the necessary steps to become a Team CKF fundraiser. It is a 4-day biking event in Flint Hills, Kansas, and is considered the world’s premier gravel event; UNBOUND is a lottery with 4,000 riders. EAGLES of Grace is a faith based mentoring program utilizing a holistic and social emotional learning approach to educate, empower and equip youth and young adults to be successful. Our inaugural 5K scheduled May 31st is a great way for us to come together as a community and pray for the success and well being of our youth in Winston Salem and surrounding counties. The 5K will also serve as an annual fundraising campaign to fund supporting initiatives for EAGLES of Grace Inc. youth mentoring and educational programs. These races are open to all Heights alumni, parents, and students as well as their family and friends. Please register in advance. This is the registration site for Kit's Club members to participate in Wheels on Campus! If you are not a Kit's Club member, please see the regular Spring Cycle registration site. You will receive an official Spring Cycle bib at the Hutzell Athletic Center at the University of Saint Francis. Kit's Club members can come to Wheels on Campus and start their adventure anytime between 10 AM - 11 AM. A Spring Cycle shirt is not included with this registration, but you can pick up for your official Kit's Club shirt here if you haven't already done so at a prior event. You can purchase a Spring Cycle shirt for an additional fee of $10 through this registration. This event allows participants of ALL ages to participate in a different way! The 2026 Run Into the Summer 5K Run/Walk will take place at Monroe Central Jr.-Sr. High School on the Cross Country Course on May 30, 2026 beginning at 9:00AM. It will be all on grass, with the finish on the HS Track. There were 309 registered participants in 2025! All funds are being raised for the Monroe Central Athletic Training Program. These funds will help continue the Monroe Central Athletic Training Scholarship (2 @ $500), and buy new rehab and recovery equipment for the Athletic Training Program.
