Welcome to the First Annual Climb the Mine Hike in Hibbing, Minnesota. This one-of-a-kind community hike begins at the Greyhound Bus Museum & through Historic Old Hibbing, where the roots of our mining town first took hold more than a century ago. From there, participants will make their way through the heart of Hibbing and gradually climb to the breathtaking overlook at the Hull-Rust-Mahoning Mine View. At the finish, you will stand at what is often called the world’s largest open-pit iron ore mine, known as the “Grand Canyon of the North.” The climb is steady and rewarding, ending with one of the most incredible views on the Iron Range. This event is designed for all ages and abilities. The Going Bananas Run is the first-of-its-kind fun run where your speed can raise money for charity. Each racer receives their very own banana suit to run in as you make your way through an exciting Duluth course. You’d better split though, because after 2 minutes we release “The Gorilla.” “The Gorilla” is our inside man; boy, does he love chasing bananas. Those who beat the gorilla to the finish receive a special prize, and money will be donated to a local food shelf. Do you have what it takes to beat “The Gorilla”?In year 1 we had over 430 bananas, in year 2 we are going for over 1,000!

The Second Annual Licking County Suicide Prevention Coalition Awareness Race will return in 2026 as a powerful, community-driven event focused on connection, remembrance, and hope. Hosted by the Licking County Suicide Prevention Coalition, this race brings together families, survivors, first responders, educators, behavioral health providers, and community members who share one goal: saving lives. The Homesteader 6 is back for racers, rangers, soul riders, weekened warriors, juniors, NICA riders and local heroes. This is an early-season triathlon and duathlon that is well suited as a training event for the seasoned athlete as well as an entry-level distance for those who are just deciding to plunge into their first event.  There will be an adult sprint triathlon & duathlon with a first wave start at 8 a.m. and two youth divisions (1) U-15 (ages 11-15) and (2) U-10 (7-10) with a first wave start at 11:15 a.m.  The event is centered on Greenville's beautiful Baldwin Lake and features a unique spectator experience from an elevated viewpoint above the lake and transition area on and along the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail.  The entire swim, transition, bike-in, 1/2 mile of the run, and the finish line can all be viewed from a single vantage point.

One of our original races is back and moving to the wilds of West Virginia! The 2026 edition of Brake the Habit will take place in Pocahontas County WV, over the course of 24 to 30 hours. Teams of 2-4 people will trek, packraft, mountain bike and navigate their way through a course that explores this amazing and unique corner of the state.  With the highest concentration of public land in the state—dominated by the mighty and vast Monongahela National Forest, 400 miles of trails, extensive backcountry and wilderness, legendary mountain biking, and free-flowing rivers—teams can expect a course that is rugged, and relatively remote for a race of this length. Nestled in the Shawnee National Forest, Giant City State Park is a premier destination for hiking, lodging, and camping in southern Illinois. We are now proud to offer a premier trail (heavy) ½ marathon and 40k primarily utilizing the Red Cedar Trail.  The course will consist mostly of single track, but will have some gravel road connectors, horse trails, fields, and less than a mile of paved road connectors. The trail varies from very technical to runnable in sections, boasting over 1800 feet of elevation gain (one half-marathon loop).  Also, expect the possibility of getting your feet wet in several creek crossings, rain dependent!  As an incentive to our teen and cross country runners, they will be capped at a $40 entry to the half-marathon.  We want to encourage our youth to run the trails in southern Illinois.  Also, the t-shirt is now an add-on instead of an automatic upcharge for those who wish to forgo a race shirt.  (If you change your mind, there should be some extra at packe

A Ride with a Cause Benzie Sunrise Rotary’s 17th annual Bike Event is now the Bike Benzie Tour. We are excited to be partnering with Crystal Mountain again to provide an exciting family event...with the same great food and after-party!   This in-person event is scheduled for Saturday, May 30 at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, Michigan*.   This year we are offering three cycling events for your Up North adventure. Jodie passed away on May 24, 2015, after a very short but courageous fight against Glioblastoma brain cancer. The Jodie Schmahl-Olson Memorial 5K is held in downtown Two Harbors, MN, Jodie's hometown. Event proceeds will go to the Glioblastoma Foundation to help research and support for other families fighting the fight against Glioblastoma. This event is a run/walk. In loving memory of Buffy Bonwell. Children’s Home Society needs your support. On May 30th, 2026, we are hosting our third annual 5k fundraiser at the University of Charleston. The Children’s Home Society has been serving children and families for over 129 years. Today, we have 13 primary locations and 28 physical locations to provide adoption, foster care, and emergency shelter care statewide. Our goal is to raise funds that will assist the needs of the children at the Davis Child Shelter and in our Foster Care and Adoption Program. The 5K run/walk race will be hosted at the University of Charleton.  Water stations will be set up for the convenience of the participants.

The 12th Annual South Charleston Chamber of Commerce Wellness 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The 5K will start and end in Oakes Field in South Charleston. Strain for the Brain is an annual event held to honor individuals diagnosed with a brain tumor and to celebrate the family and friends there to support them.  Brain tumors are a devastating disease that affects 80,000 people and their families each year. Nebraska's New Twist on a Relay Race The NEWEST day-long relay in the Midwest. The Nebraska 50k Classic Relay requires no van, leg distance is the same for everyone, and the course is flat as a pancake!   Teams consist of 2-8 members.
