The 12th Annual LandShark Swim & Swim+Run is scheduled to take place at Lake Gardner on Sunday, May 31st. The event attracts around 200 participants and takes place in calm, protected waters just 45 min North of Boston in the charming City of Amesbury, MA.

The Memory Mile Wellness Challenge is a virtual event that helps raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association’s The Longest Day.  __________________________________________________________________________________________________________   Over 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, a brain disorder that causes a progressive decline in memory, thinking and learning.  This number is staggering but there are ways to decrease your risk for the disease- one of these is being physically active.  This challenge is to promote that healthy habit.   Research suggests, as little as 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity and 2 days of strength training may reduce the risk for developing Alzheimer’s by up to 50%. The 47th Annual Locust Street Festival kicks off with the famous 1.6-mile beer run/walk through the streets of Riverwest with 4 beer stops. Ride to the Rescue Ride to the Rescue is an annual 25-mile and 50-mile cycling event through the heart of Tampa, bringing together riders, first responders, and the community for a powerful cause. USA Triathlon coordinates a series of draft-legal racing opportunities for this purpose. While not every teenage athlete aspires to race as an elite, developing the skills associated with draft-legal triathlon at an early age — a strong swim, superior bike handling, quick transitions, and the ability to run fast off the bike — will serve all athletes well as they progress as collegiate and age group competitors.

In 1996, Ann Knight and her friend Janet Boylan put on the very first Santa Rosa Island Triathlon. On race day, as they watched a few hundred new triathletes struggle to complete the race, they decided that a training program for new triathletes might be a good idea. And so the Mere Mortals program was born in 1997. Ann teamed up with her husband Charlie to plan for the second annual SRI Tri, and Janet took on the task of organizing a free training group for those who might want help getting ready for their first Triathlon. In those first few years, 20-30 people would meet on Pensacola Beach and work their way up from short drills of swimming, biking, and running, eventually building up to a combined practice Tri that covered the full distance of the SRI Tri on the very same course they’d use on race day. In the years since then, Mere Mortals has grown from an informal gathering to an organized event with attendance often exceeding 200 members. It is now managed by Tri Gulf Coast, the

Welcome to our 5th Annual Run For Raegan Race! We are so excited for you to be joining us on this special day we created for Raegan in May of 2021.  We know she would be honored and beyond excited to participate with all her family and friends near and far. Raegan always did enjoy a good race and was known to even out run her boy-friends.  We started this race virtually with the Michael Mosier Foundation in May of 2020 when Raegan was still fighting this monster of a tumor (DIPG) The Mosiers are near and dear to our heart because not only did they lose their son Michael at the age of 6 but they were the first ones to reach out to us and have been part of our journey since. In November of 2020 after Raegan passed away we decided to become Family Partners with the Mosier's as they were merging with another Foundation called Chad Tough. The Carrs lost their son Chad at the age of 5 to DIPG. We now fight for a cure together with the Chad Tough Defeat DIPG Foundation along with over 40

A half marathon (13.1mile), 10k, 5k, 1 mile run/walk and 1/2 mile Kid's Dash on the River's Edge Trail in Great Falls, Montana. Events start at Elks Riverside Park in Great Falls, MT - Park Drive North and 4th Avenue North.The 13.1 marathon, 10k and 5k routes incorporate the park and River’s Edge Trail. All events start and end in front of the Tennis Courts at the blowup arch from competitive timing. 2025 event will NOT have the road of River Drive closed. This is new from 2023 event.
