LASAA’s mission is to provide athletic events for our members, comprised of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department employees and law enforcement personnel, to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie.  The Mug Run series started in 1993. The primary participants were law enforcement personnel with an average of 10 runners.  Since then, the Mug Run series opened its participation to the general public. Today, participation has grown to over 300 runners.   The race provides outside friendly competition and positive interaction between law enforcement and the community.  Race day pricing increases to $40 so make sure to sign up early.   Each runner will receive a T-shirt on race day.

ADVENTURE LIKE NO OTHER! Experience nature and wildlife in this exciting 30K, Half Marathon, 8 Mile, and 5K trail run that meanders along Lake Apopka's shoreline!   Lake Apopka is located 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Orlando. It is the third-largest lake in the state of Florida. The north shore of Lake Apopka is a haven for bird-watching, wildlife photographers, and nature lovers of all ages. The Lake Apopka Loop Trail follows the lake’s edge through the property, covering more than 20 miles and providing hiking and biking opportunities. The Loop Trail is expected to circumnavigate Lake Apopka in the future but is currently an out-and-back trail traversing the northern half of the lake. There are four trailheads for the Loop Trail with restrooms at the Green Mountain, North Shore/McDonald Canal boat ramp, and Magnolia Park trailheads and port-a-lets at the historic pump house.  All events start and finish at Magnolia Park in Apopka. Join the Blackwater Heritage Trail crew at our 3rd Annual Blackwater Heritage Trailblazer Fun Run on February 21, 2026!  This is a beautiful tree-lined, well-maintained paved trail and the perfect path for a Saturday morning run with family and friends!   This fun run event on the Blackwater Heritage Trail is open to all ages, running or walking abilities, strollers and leashed dogs. CLASH Endurance proudly presents the Daytona Beach Half Marathon & 5K. The course will begin at Daytona International Speedway and travel by Daytona Beach landmarks such as: Bethune-Cookman University, Riverfront Esplanade, Jackie Robinson Ballpark, and the Motorsports Hall of Fame. Bring yourself or your sweetheart for our 11th annual fun Valentine's Day Run benefiting the Vigo County YMCA's annual campaign and scholarships for our youth program. We will have pre-race packet pickup on Friday, February 12th from 5:00 pm- 6:30 pm. Race day packet pick-up and registration will occur from 8:30 am-9:45 am. Both of these activities will take place at the Vigo County YMCA. Online registration closes at 11:59pm on Friday the 12th.We will have race day sign ups available. You can drop off your child ( 6 weeks to 12 years) at the child watch from 8:30 am until the race ends. .Our overall awards will be presented too: -Fastest Couple - Fastest Male- Top 3 overall -Fastest Female- Top 3 overall We will also have awards for the top 2 in the following age groups: - Male- 14 and Under -Female- 14 & under -Male 15-19 -Female-15-19 -Male- 20-29 -Female-20-29 -Male-30-39 -Female- 30-39 -Male-40-49 -Female- 40-49 -Male-50-59 -Female- 50-59 -Male-60+ -Female- 60+ The fastest couple awards will be calculated by taking the total time of both individuals. The race director will consider refunds but are not promised up until 2 weeks before the event. Love is in the air! Come run or walk and celebrate Valentine's Day with that special someone. The 5K run will offer both individual and team prizes. Two-person teams will compete for prizes in Male-Female, Female-Female, and Male-Male categories. Everyone who finishes will feel the love with a custom-made Running Cupid medal. Team categories are based on combined ages of the two team members. We will award 1st place prizes in for two-person teams with combined ages of 40-under, 41-80, and 81-over. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Manhattan High School cross country program and other running opportunities for area youth in the Flint Hills region. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish.
