RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE AT PACKET PICK-UP ON FRIDAY NIGHT & SATURDAY MORNING. For more information visit the Lake Region Run website. The Lake Region Run has been the lakes area premier event since 2007. The beautiful scenery of the Fergus Falls area, the variety of race lengths, and ideal temperates in early June make the race a perfect fit for the casual runner/walker to the serious competitor who wants to tackle the challenging hills of the 10-mile course.  Trophies will be awarded to the top overall male and female while top three finishers in each age division will receive an award. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A FINISHERS MEDAL!  You must be registered by May 17th to be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Anyone who registers after May 17th will receive a pair of Performance Fitsok Running Socks instead of a t-shirt. All youth 12 and under are guaranteed a t-shirt, however their t-shirt is not guaranteed to be available for pickup at the race if they register after May 17t

Sunday, May 24th, 2026 | Summercamp Hotel, Oak Bluffs | 10:00 AM Runners will follow a beautiful USATF certified course around Oak Bluffs harbor and East Chop Lighthouse. Join us for the 21st Annual Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic for a 5k race along the beautiful Virginia Beach Boardwalk over Memorial Day Weekend!  Flat out and back course. T-Shirts and medals will be awarded to all finishers. Plus enjoy the Coastal Edge Student Art Pavilion, and check out some of the best in pro and amateur surf with the Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic by Katin WSL 1000 surfing contest.  Runners will start the race on the boardwalk at 2nd street. The race will run north to 24th street and return back to 2nd Street. There will be water stations at the start/finish line and at the turnaround. Parking is available in the 2nd street lot close to the start. Our 7th annual Chris Lockett run will take place on Monday May 25th starting at Murphy High School parking lot. The race will begin at 915 am. This year we will have a race check-in table setup for every participant to come and confirm their registration and receive their Tee shirt on site. We will allow on race day registration, but please understand that race day registration only receive Tee shirts while supplies are available, if we run out a later order will be placed for you to receive a shirt. The Gabriel Lee Friedline Memorial Run is a 5k run/walk around the Lake Shore Trail at Shawnee State Park in Bedford, PA.  The race date is Sunday, May 24th.  Registration begins at 9:00am and the Race start will begin at 10:00am at Pavilion No. 7. This will be a walking and running event.  This year we will still have the tot race for children 6 and under to participate in! All our welcome to come and  remember our son Gabriel who passed from SIDs in October of 2012 at three months old.  Stick around after the run for the awards ceremony and post race drinks and food.  The proceeds from the race will be used to help family's cover final expenses for unexpected deaths of babies and young children in the community.  It is important we give back to our community and the people that have helped us along the way!

The Lake Monster 5k, 12K, and 1.5 mile walk begins at Chaumont's newest park, Veteran's Memorial Park at 12200 NYS Route 12E. (Next to Wise Guy's Restaurant)  Runners then make their way to Point Salubrious for a 5K out and back or 12K loop along the scenic Lake Ontario shoreline with views of Guffin, Sawmill and Chaumont Bay, as well as Cherry Island. A 1.5 mile walk will follow the same direction as the 5K and will also be out and back.  Our Lake Monster logo was designed by a Lyme Central School student, Rosamond Hunt. The Pathfinders is a worldwide, faith-based, church-sponsored co-ed organization for young people in grades 5–12 (typically ages10–15) that focuses on spiritual, social, and physical development. This event supports our Pathfinders programs, helping provide annual camping experiences andfinancial assistance for our youth. These programs play a vital role in developing leadership,character, and spiritual growth within our church community.

The event honors one of the club's founders, Paul Thurston. What better way to start your summer with a 5k in the Nation's Capital. This 5k will be an out and back on pavement in the picturesque Rock Creek Park. In honor of Memorial Day, we encourage you to come out in red, white, and blue. The Chris Klug Foundation is proud to be a charity partner for the 2026 Cape Town Marathon as it bids to become an Abbott World Major Marathon.  This year, five individuals will have the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for our mission to eliminate the wait for a transplant. We work across the United States, educating and inspiring individuals to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors. Alongside this, we work to show the world what is made possible due to the gift of life through giving recipients, donors, and supporters a platform to make the impossible possible post-transplant. The foundation was started in 2003 by an Olympic Bronze Medalist after a liver transplant saved his life. Chris received his transplant in 2000 thanks to the courageous decision made by the donor and their family. Join us for the Newtown Savings Bank Mile Down the Pike, a one mile road race.  The route proceeds down Monroe Turnpike along the Monroe Memorial Day parade route AFTER the roads close, but before the parade begins.  A swift mile downhill, this event is on the same route as the Monroe Memorial Day parade.  Enjoy a quick mile race starting at Firemen's Field and ending at Elm Street and Cross Hill intersection.  Be cheered on as the crowds gather for the parade.  Don't miss this fun event!  You should be able to do a mile in 15 minutes or less to sign up for this race.  THIS IS A TIMED ROAD RACE. We're very excited to announce a Seneca Rocks fun run on Sunday, May 24, 2026! The run will take place during Fourest Festival, is 3km long, downhill in elevation, and mostly on gravel. The starting place is "behind" Seneca, at Fourth Moon Camp and the finish line is at the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center. The run features a course along Roy Gap Road, which passes between the towering quartzite ridges of Seneca Rocks and crosses over the legendary Potomac River.

Both the 10k and 2-mile races start and finish at Lakeside Park located on beautiful Lake Michigan.  With a quick and scenic course, this race is perfect for the competitive runner as well as walkers, leisurely joggers, families, and kids. The 10k race treks along Lake Shore Rd to the turnaround point at the waters of Clark Lake and returns along N Cave Point Dr. The 2-mile event is an out and back course along Highway 57 and Lake Shore Rd. Enjoy the quiet, serene beauty of Jacksonport on either route you choose to take!

The Light up the Sky 5K Run/Walk will be returning this year for its 10th year! Join the fun on Sunday, May 24th.  All net proceeds support the annual 4th of July fireworks held at the Presque Isle State Harbor.   * There is a fun run for the kids at 9:00 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:30 a.m. Both events start at the New Presque Isle Lighthouse Park. Registration fees for the 5k is $20 through April 30th and $25 thereafter. Registration fees for the kid fun run is $10. Join us for the first ever Exposition Race of Legends 5k Run on Memorial Day weekend!

Be a part of history -- this is the longest continuously run road race in Colorado!  Since 1978, the Narrow Gauge 10 Mile Run has been one of Durango's oldest Memorial Day traditions. This year, we're back at beautiful Santa Rita Park along the Animas River. We are excited to announce our beneficiaries of the races this year are The Fort Lewis College and Durango High School Track and Cross Country Teams as well as The Liberty School and Animas High School. The 10 Miler will climb from the river trail up to Fort Lewis College with the best views of the La Plata Mountains then past Hillcrest Golf course. It will be a mix of sidewalk, dirt and paved road as well as singletrack trails  The descent will take runners back to the east side of the Animas River to the Rivergate Bridge then north along the river trail back to the start/finish.  For a change of pace the 5K race heads south  from Santa Rita Park crosses over the Animas River and continues south along the eastern banks of

Join this family-friendly 5K and run through Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary’s annual Thousand Flags Memorial Day weekend display. This awe-inspiring annual event showcases over 1,000 American flags on display at The Park at River Walk to honor those we have lost. There will be a 5K course and a one-mile memorial walk. The 5K course winds its way through the scenic flag adorned park and down the multi-use trail adjacent to the park, and is suitable for both runners and walkers. Proceeds will support the Thousand Flags event and other Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary community projects. The events will be timed and awards will be given for the top three 5K finishers in each category. Register by May 3rd, 2026 to ensure you receive a Thousand Flags T-shirt. All veterans participating in the event will be recognized with a complimentary Thousand Flags pin.

Sign up for the Field of Heroes 5K Run/Walk for an active and alternative way to honor your heroes in a unique and breathtaking setting. This event will again take place at the Westerville Sports Complex (325 N Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43082) on Sunday, May 24, 2026. This flat course is on paved recreation paths, against one of the most memorable backdrops you’ll ever experience. The Field of Heroes has been a Memorial Day weekend tradition in central Ohio for the past 17 years, providing an opportunity for our community to bring back the significance of the holiday and to honor their personal heroes. Set in a field of 3,000 full-sized American flags, visitors are able to dedicate flags to their personal heroes and join other community members in this deeply moving event.
