'Who Run It' is a community mental health awareness walk/run hosted by the Greenville-Weston High School Class of 2006 as part of our 20-Year Reunion weekend. Held during Mental Health Awareness Month, this 1-mile event is open to all ages and brings together classmates, families, and the Greenville community for a morning of movement and purpose. All participation is free — made possible by our generous sponsors. Whether you're walking, running, or cheering from the sidelines, there's a place for you at the starting line.

Our 7th annual Chris Lockett run will take place on Monday May 25th starting at Murphy High School parking lot. The race will begin at 915 am. This year we will have a race check-in table setup for every participant to come and confirm their registration and receive their Tee shirt on site. We will allow on race day registration, but please understand that race day registration only receive Tee shirts while supplies are available, if we run out a later order will be placed for you to receive a shirt. Again you may not get a shirt on race day so register before the cut off.Please arrive 40 minutes before hand if you are participant. *** Virtual race participants do not receive a shirt with registration. during the virtual race registration there is an option to add a shirt for an additional amount and have it shipped to you.*** All proceeds and donations will go towards the Sgt Christopher Lockett Memorial Scholarship.

The Gabriel Lee Friedline Memorial Run is a 5k run/walk around the Lake Shore Trail at Shawnee State Park in Bedford, PA.  The race date is Sunday, May 24th.  Registration begins at 9:00am and the Race start will begin at 10:00am at Pavilion No. 7. This will be a walking and running event.  This year we will still have the tot race for children 6 and under to participate in! All our welcome to come and  remember our son Gabriel who passed from SIDs in October of 2012 at three months old.  Stick around after the run for the awards ceremony and post race drinks and food.  The proceeds from the race will be used to help family's cover final expenses for unexpected deaths of babies and young children in the community.  It is important we give back to our community and the people that have helped us along the way!

The 2026 Forest Park Runners Classic 4 mile Road and Trail Run will take place on Sunday May 24th starting at 10 am. Join us for the 21st Annual Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic for a 5k race along the beautiful Virginia Beach Boardwalk over Memorial Day Weekend!  Flat out and back course. T-Shirts and medals will be awarded to all finishers. Plus enjoy the Coastal Edge Student Art Pavilion, and check out some of the best in pro and amateur surf with the Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic by Katin WSL 1000 surfing contest.  Runners will start the race on the boardwalk at 2nd street. The race will run north to 24th street and return back to 2nd Street. There will be water stations at the start/finish line and at the turnaround. Parking is available in the 2nd street lot close to the start. The Lake Monster 5k, 12K, and 1.5 mile walk begins at Chaumont's newest park, Veteran's Memorial Park at 12200 NYS Route 12E. (Next to Wise Guy's Restaurant)  Runners then make their way to Point Salubrious for a 5K out and back or 12K loop along the scenic Lake Ontario shoreline with views of Guffin, Sawmill and Chaumont Bay, as well as Cherry Island. A 1.5 mile walk will follow the same direction as the 5K and will also be out and back.  Our Lake Monster logo was designed by a Lyme Central School student, Rosamond Hunt. The creature is A Great Blue Heron, Osprey and Northern Pike hybrid and represents the lush Great Lakes wildlife.  Proceeds will benefit Lyme Parks and Recreation. Join us for the Newtown Savings Bank Mile Down the Pike, a one mile road race.  The route proceeds down Monroe Turnpike along the Monroe Memorial Day parade route AFTER the roads close, but before the parade begins.  A swift mile downhill, this event is on the same route as the Monroe Memorial Day parade.  Enjoy a quick mile race starting at Firemen's Field and ending at Elm Street and Cross Hill intersection.  Be cheered on as the crowds gather for the parade.  Don't miss this fun event!  You should be able to do a mile in 15 minutes or less to sign up for this race.  THIS IS A TIMED ROAD RACE. We're very excited to announce a Seneca Rocks fun run on Sunday, May 24, 2026! The run will take place during Fourest Festival, is 3km long, downhill in elevation, and mostly on gravel. The starting place is "behind" Seneca, at Fourth Moon Camp and the finish line is at the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center. The run features a course along Roy Gap Road, which passes between the towering quartzite ridges of Seneca Rocks and crosses over the legendary Potomac River.

Both the 10k and 2-mile races start and finish at Lakeside Park located on beautiful Lake Michigan.  With a quick and scenic course, this race is perfect for the competitive runner as well as walkers, leisurely joggers, families, and kids. The 10k race treks along Lake Shore Rd to the turnaround point at the waters of Clark Lake and returns along N Cave Point Dr. The 2-mile event is an out and back course along Highway 57 and Lake Shore Rd. The Light up the Sky 5K Run/Walk will be returning this year for its 10th year! This year, we're back at beautiful Santa Rita Park along the Animas River. Fast, Flat, Point to Point race down Glen Street in Glens Falls.  Race runs the parade route from Downtown Glens Falls to Crandall Park.  Lots of spectators as the race starts 5 minutes before the parade.  All proceeds from the race will go directly to our local Veterans Organizations.  Come on out and run and support your local Vets on Memorial Day.

Memorial Day 2026 A memorial run to raise awareness for our Special Operations members who were killed in action since 9/11/2001. Only one rule to run with Project 33; the flag represents the fallen, and no runner will pass the flag. The flag will lead the way. Our traditional run in-person event is a pack run of 6.8 miles at a 12 min mile pace. New this year! For the past 11 years, Lynchburg Road Runners Club and Type 1 Diabetes Experience (T1DE) have hosted this race to provide support for local families living with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. It has become a great community and family event. This year the Memorial Day 10k will be hosted by Community Access Network (CAN).  While T1DE is dissolving, Community Access Network, already an area leader in diabetes education and management, will provide for continued support for T1 families in our community. In addition, Community Access Network provides exceptional, comprehensive, quality, and compassionate healthcare to every member of our community.  The Memorial Day 10K is the 7th race in the 2026 Lynchburg Road Runners  Race Series.

Race Sponsor: Yardley Borough Parks and Recreation Board is hosting the Memorial Main Street Mile. Celebrate Memorial Day with a chip-timed 1-mile race on Main Street in historic Yardley Borough to benefit American Legion Post 317.  The Memorial Main Street Mile race will begin at Wells Fargo Bank (225 South Main Street) and finishes at the Yardley Friends Meeting House (65 North Main Street).  Race fee includes a t-shirt to all participants that register by April 12, 2026. About This Event: Join us for the 31st annual Run To Climax!  This is a scenic Memorial Day race with profits going to our local elementary school. Your participation helps fund materials and activities provided by the Climax-Scotts PTO. Thank you for your support! Come for the run, stay for more fun! Hang around after the race for the Climax Memorial Day Parade at 10:00, followed by activities at the high school like the classic car show and craft booths. Important Change: Due to the increased amount of activities and traffic, we will be closing streets to ensure the safety of our runners. Because of this, runners need to plan on finishing within a 1 hour time frame. Presented by The Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City (BIAKS-GKC), the Memorial Day run is celebrating its 39th year. Formerly the Amy Thompson Run for Brain Injury, it is one of the oldest runs in the Kansas City area and attracts close to 1,000 runners and spectators of all ages each year.  The course begins and ends in beautiful Loose Park in Kansas City and goes through some historic neighborhoods surrounding the park.  All particpants receive a finishers medal and compete for age group and overall awards.  Custom event shirts can be added to your registration for an additional $7. This run focuses on the successes and challenges of those affected by brain injury. Africa Day was initiated in 1963, signifying the unity and achievement of the African continent. Please join us as we gather for a 5k run and 1 mile walk. Family and pets are welcomed.
