48th Annual Frosty 5 Mile Saturday, February 6, 2027 Pioneer Path School (24920 Sage Street, Channahon) Check in: 7:30 AM Race Start: 9 AM Runners of all ages are invited to brave the cold. The first 200 runners will receive an official Frosty 5-mile stocking cap and finishers scarf. After the race, stay for pretzels and the awards ceremony. The 36th annual Uwharrie Mountain Run offers challenging, winter, single-track trail runs of 8, 20, and 40 miles in central North Carolina’s Uwharrie National Forest. Join us for the 4th annual Puppy Love 5K! Join the Pack for a 5K run or walk with and for your best four-legged friends. This race is 100% dog friendly for all well socialized pups on a leash. We do ask that any owners running with dogs be prepared with a pick up bag to attend to any unscheduled potty breaks on the course. Dogs are not allowed off leash at any time. You can run with a dog or without. Limit one dog per handler. 1 runner + 1 dog = $45. Minimum age for a runner with a dog is 12 years old. Kids 10 and under run free, but must be accompanied by an adult and do not receive race swag and are not officially timed. Join us at Ducks Unlimited's National Headquarters here in Memphis for our second ever Jr. Duck Stamp Workshop! The workshop will take place from Saturday, February 6th - Sunday, February 7th. The workshop will include an overview of everything students will need to compete in the Jr. Duck Stamp competition, including an introduction to the Federal Duck Stamp and its contest, an overview of waterfowl species and habitats, and art lessons and guidance in creating their own duck stamp design. All supplies are provided! The workshop is open to K-12 and we encourage anyone to register if they have an interest in art or waterfowl. No previous art experience is necessary. The workshop will conclude on Sunday, the 7th with an exhibition of the students' finished pieces and a small reception for families. We have 80 spots for the workshop. Campus Recreation is proud to present the 14th Annual Arctic 5K Trail Race hosted at Hydaway Outdoor Center on Saturday, February 6, 2027. The Arctic 5K Trail Race is the 4th trail race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The course is comprised of single track trail intermixed with some forest roads. “The River City”, Decatur, Alabama, hosts a fabulous running/biking trail and some of the nicest runners you’ll ever meet. Join us for our 11th annual Carnival Frolic 13.1-mile race taking you through our acclaimed historic districts, along the Tennessee River, and through Point Mallard Park. Is a shorter distance more your thing? Then grab some friends and run the half marathon relay option! You can have up to 4 relay members per team. Benefiting Moorpark High School’s cross country and track programs, the Groundhog Day event consists of two events. Starting at the high school, the 5k is a fast, chip timed road race with an exciting finish at the beautiful Moorpark High School stadium. All ages and abilities are welcome. All participants age 11 and under who complete the 5k will received a finisher medal. There will also be a “Catch the Groundhog” 1 mile fun run for kids 11 and under which will be held on the track with finisher medals for all. Registration fees include a t-shirt for all runners (shirts are only guaranteed if you register by Sunday 1/24/27). Post-race festivities include the awards ceremony with age group medals plus refreshments, vendors, and a raffle of wonderful prizes donated by local businesses.

Participants may choose from three challenges: Sprint – 1.7 Mile Walk, Run, or Ruck A family-friendly course perfect for beginners, walkers, and supporters of all ages. Endurance – 6 Mile Walk, Run, or Ruck A longer challenge for participants ready to test their endurance while supporting the Mission. Threshold – 12 Mile Ruck Our most demanding course, created for experienced participants who want to push beyond their limits and ruck with purpose. Those who carry weight (rucks) will be eligible for our awards! Required amount of weight: Men - 30lbs, women 20lbs. Please bring your own backpack/ruck or weighted vest.
