The VSAP event is broken down into three events, a 3-mile Suicide awareness walk/run, a 12-mile run and a 6-mile Ruck (Rucking or packing , 20kg to represent, remember, and honor veterans who have been tragically lost to us and our Nation). The VSAP helps build community which is one way to help combat suicide. Montana consistently has one of the highest suicide rates in the nation, per capita. This event will help raise awareness and promote prevention about this epidemic by bring the community together to memorialize those lost and let Veterans, their friends, and families know they are not alone. This is a fun Color Run run to honor the life and legacy of a local young adult, Morgan Patten. Proceeds will benefit the Morgan’s Miles To Go Foundation (501(c)(3). Morgan Patten was tragically and mysteriously killed while visiting her fiance in North Carolina in 2019.  A vibrant and beautiful young woman from Bradford, NH/Kearsarge Area accepted to law school and to be married to her true love.  An avid environmentalist and runner.  Keep her legacy of love and adventure alive! Run for Morgan!!!

The Wolf Lake 5k takes you on a scenic tour of the William Powers Conservation Area at Wolf Lake. Your trip begins at the visitors center and takes you North through the park to the State Line where you turn around are return to the finish line.  The race is entirely within the William Powers Conservation Area this year. In addition to our normal race awards, and in honor of those who serve and protect the community, we will have a "First Responders Challenge".  Bragging rights and medals will be awarded to the three fastest Police, Fire, and EMTs. Register early for the best pricing. The historic Berryman Trail is an approximately 26.4-mile single-track loop located in the Mark Twain National Forest. Run one loop for the Marathon, and two loops for the 50+-Mile race. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, everything STOPS. A family’s whole life changes just like that and it does not go back to normal. Bills and stress are at an all-time high and help from others is critical. One in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they are 20 years old. Childhood cancer research and treatments are vastly and consistently underfunded.  Keris, was a proud Kindergarten graduate of Newnan Crossing Elementary School. She was a vibrant and faithful child who bravely battled a rare form of pediatric brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) from the age of 4 until her transition at the age of 6.  She made a lasting impression on those that knew her. GO GRAY FOR A CURE 5K Go Gray for a Cure, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to fund life-saving brain cancer research, educate and increase awareness, and improve the quality of life for those living with brain cancer. An estimated 1 million people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and approximately 94,390 more will be diagnosed this year. Glioblastoma is the most commonly occurring primary malignant brain tumor, accounting for 14.3% of all tumors and 50.1% of all malignant tumors. For malignant brain tumor patients, the five-year relative survival rate following diagnosis is 35.7%. For the most common form of primary malignant brain tumors, glioblastoma, the five-year relative survival rate is only 6.8% and median survival is only 8 months. The 5th annual head and neck cancer run/walk for a cause event will be held on May 17th, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.. The event will start at Thomas Beach on Lake Bde Maka Ska. Address: 3751 West Bde Maka Ska Parkway, Minneapolis, MN Details:Walkers, runners and volunteers come together to honor cancer survivors, raise awareness about reducing cancer risk and raise money to bring hope to cancer patients. The Surf Drive Mile (formerly the "Main Street Mile") is a 1-Mile race along Surf Drive that finishes at the Surf Drive Beach House. The race is intended for all levels of runners and walkers; for fast runners who want to run a competitive mile and slower runners and walkers who want a more leisurely event. There will be one start with the faster runners positioned up front. For safety reasons, any baby strollers/joggers must start at the back. Slower runners, small children and walkers will also be asked to line up near the back. Children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult who is registered to run  the race.  Toilet facilities will be available at the start/finish line area.  Directions: To the Surf Drive Beach House (for number pickup and race day  registration): Take Rte. 28 from either direction into Falmouth to Main Street,  turn south on Walker St. or Shore St. to the Surf Drive Beach House. About the Run and AEF The AEF 5K Run celebrates Arlington’s students, teachers, and staff who work tirelessly to create enriching and innovative educational experiences. All ages are welcome to participate.  The proceeds from the run will be used to support innovative and creative new projects, as well as system-wide initiatives, that enhance the educational experience in Arlington’s Public Schools.  AEF depends entirely on individual donations and business sponsorships.  The race plays a significant role in our community awareness and fundraising initiatives. Annual Dash for the Dogs 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for the dogs & cats under our care at Animal House Shelter!   Run or Walk the 5K with your dog or without! Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations and be excellent around all other animals & people. The Race is Certified & Timed by J3 Timing and is an excellent race for runners of all levels.  There is also a 1 Mile Family Fun Walk directly after the 5K! 100% of the proceeds go towards the dogs and cats at our No Kill Animal Shelter.   We are a 501C3 and all donations are tax deductible.     Founded in June 2002, Animal House Shelter rescues and cares for homeless animals. Most of the dogs and cats that we take in are from high kill facilities that are euthanizing due to lack of space.  Many have been abused, neglected or abandoned . The Fleet Feet Bloomington Donut Run is a fun annual event for runners and walkers of all ages to celebrate the anniversary of our Store Opening on May 23, 2013. Participants will run/walk a one mile loop in the neighborhoods around the store 1, 2 or 3 times and will eat a Krispy Kreme Donut on each lap. You will receive a Popsicle stick after eating a donut and after completing a lap. Donuts must be eaten in the "donut zone" on Maloney Drive and can't be carried on the course. The first 100 people to turn in SIX Popsicle sticks (representing three miles and three donuts) will receive a prize. This event is just for FUN - it is untimed, not accurately measured and there are no awards. But it is also for a good cause! For a $5 donation to St. Jude participants may skip one donut, for a $10 donation you can skip two and for a $15 donation you can skip them all and just RUN.
