Triangle Run Smart Spring 2026 Kids Race

Our Spring 2026 Kids Race is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.  Come join us for our Kids Track Race on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2-4pm at the Mills Park Middle School track & field in Cary!  We will have lots of mini races of varying distances on the track during the event, plus fun running games on the inner field for those waiting their turn to race.  Races to include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1-mile races (broken into age groups).  Medals for all participants and ribbons for the top 3 winners of each individual race heat.  Open to ages 6-15. Water, Gatorade, and popsicles will be provided to the kids during/after the event. Cost of the race is $30.  No refund and no credit if you drop from the race after registering. NC Fossil Fest 5K

The in-person NC Fossil Fest 5K run will be held on Sunday, May 24, at 8:00 am in Aurora, NC.   Join us for our Annual NC Fossil Festival 5K Fossil Run! The 5K will take place in the Town of Aurora. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Aurora Fossil Museum.  Race bibs can be picked up on race day in front of the Aurora Fossil Museum at 7:00 a.m.  Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. so you can park in the designated Festival Parking (grass lots south of Main Street), walk to the Race Start, and pick up your bib before 7:50 a.m. If you arrive after 7:45 a.m., you may be late starting the race.  After the race, stay and enjoy the Fossil Festival activities! Parks and Petals 5K Presented By Farmers Bank

Designed for walkers, joggers, runners, families, and first-timers alike, the Parks & Petals 5K is all about enjoying the journey. Participants are encouraged to take their time, appreciate the scenery, and experience the course at a comfortable pace. Join UAW Local 2209 and the Getting Miles Athletic Club for a beer run.   All proceeds from the beer mile will be donated to the UAW Local 2209 Veterans Committee. Fleet Feet Bloomington Donut Run

Bloomington, IL
The Fleet Feet Bloomington Donut Run is a fun annual event for runners and walkers of all ages to celebrate the anniversary of our Store Opening on May 23, 2013. Participants will run/walk a one mile loop in the neighborhoods around the store 1, 2 or 3 times and will eat a Krispy Kreme Donut on each lap. You will receive a Popsicle stick after eating a donut and after completing a lap. Donuts must be eaten in the "donut zone" on Maloney Drive and can't be carried on the course. The first 100 people to turn in SIX Popsicle sticks (representing three miles and three donuts) will receive a prize. This event is just for FUN - it is untimed, not accurately measured and there are no awards. But it is also for a good cause! For a $5 donation to St. Jude participants may skip one donut, for a $10 donation you can skip two and for a $15 donation you can skip them all and just RUN. The Surf Drive Mile (formerly the "Main Street Mile") is a 1-Mile race along Surf Drive that finishes at the Surf Drive Beach House. The race is intended for all levels of runners and walkers; for fast runners who want to run a competitive mile and slower runners and walkers who want a more leisurely event. There will be one start with the faster runners positioned up front. For safety reasons, any baby strollers/joggers must start at the back. Slower runners, small children and walkers will also be asked to line up near the back. This family friendly event begins and ends on the track at the North Area Athletic Complex (NAAC) in Arvada with a scenic trek along the Fairmount Trail in the middle. Following the 5K there is a 50-yard Jordyn's Adaptive Dash where children with disabilities will show off their speed using adaptive equipment to walk, roll or ride to the finish line. This special event is a huge hit with spectators and participants alike. We know you love your pooch and we're sure we would as well, but only service dogs with proper documentation are allowed inside the stadium at NAAC. Course Tough Tiger is an adventure-based course, geared toward kindergarten through 5th grade students and their families; however, people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. There are two course options: a 1.5 mile loop through the neighborhood streets and nearby woods, and a shorter adaptive course that stays on neighborhood streets and sidewalks, making it more accessible. The shorter course also has more adaptive features to cater to a range of abilities. Both courses start and end at Hampden Meadows School. The ARR Summer Series consists of five races. Each race is a 5K except for 4 miles on July 4th. Each race includes overall and age group awards. In each individual race, the age of the runner is his/her age on race day. To be considered for the Summer Series Grand Prix awards, each runner must complete at least four races.
