2026 Capitol Hill Classic 10K, 3K, and Fun Run

Washington, DC
The Kitchel Injury Law Capitol Hill Classic is an annual 10K, 3K and Fun Race—the only race run exclusively on the roads of Capitol Hill. Funds raised through the event benefit the Capitol Hill Cluster School, a DC public school serving over 1,100 students. The race started in 1980, and the 10K is the oldest and biggest in Washington, DC. The 10K starts out in front of Peabody Primary School, just a few blocks from the US Capitol. Runners traverse Capitol Hill, passing Stanton Park, the Capitol, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, Lincoln Park, the RFK stadium campus, and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail. The 3K course also begins at Peabody Primary School. Runners head to East Capitol Street and trek to Lincoln Park and back. The Fun Run is a single lap around Stanton Park (approximately a third of a mile).

Surf Drive Mile

Falmouth, MA
The Surf Drive Mile (formerly the "Main Street Mile") is a 1-Mile race along Surf Drive that finishes at the Surf Drive Beach House. The race is intended for all levels of runners and walkers; for fast runners who want to run a competitive mile and slower runners and walkers who want a more leisurely event. There will be one start with the faster runners positioned up front. For safety reasons, any baby strollers/joggers must start at the back. Slower runners, small children and walkers will also be asked to line up near the back. Children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult who is registered to run  the race.  Toilet facilities will be available at the start/finish line area.  Directions: To the Surf Drive Beach House (for number pickup and race day  registration): Take Rte. 28 from either direction into Falmouth to Main Street,  turn south on Walker St. or Shore St. to the Surf Drive Beach House. Footin’ It For Family is a nonprofit organization made up of family and friends. We first came together in 2012 to form a 5K team in honor of those in our families who had been affected by cancer. As a team, we participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Elmira, NY from 2012-2016. In those five years, our team raised and donated $15,500. In 2017, we formed a committee and decided to host our own 5K race to benefit our local communities. Our first year, we were able to donate $5,500 and this year we raised $35,000 for the second consecutive year! In our first nine years, we have proudly donated over $200,000 to the Ann and Carl Myers Cancer Center in Dansville, NY. We are extremely proud to support an organization which has benefited so many families throughout our local communities.

CB Kids Triathlon

The fourth annual Central Bucks Kids Triathlon will be held on Sunday, May 17th, 2026, at Central Bucks High School South. This event is open to all students in kindergarten through sixth grade. This is a FUN, all-inclusive, kids-only event where students of all ability levels are encouraged to “tri” something new and enjoy a GREAT experience with their peers. Chasing Chad's Recovery 5K and 1 Mile Kids' Trot

Please join us for TJHS Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy's 2nd Annual 5K on Corrigan Drive in South Park.  The start of the race will be at the corner of Corrigan Dr. and 100 Acres.  We will have a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and food to purchase at the Lebanon Pavilion (right off of 100 Acres).  The Chasing Chad's Recovery 5K is a fundraiser to raise money for a family whose father was suddenly diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome.  He has been incapable of working since November.  Please help this family battle their medical bills as Chad recovers from Guillain Barre Syndrome! Parking is available across Corrigan Drive at the Ice Skating Rink and there is a parking lot at the bottom of 100 Acres.  The 5K and 1-Mile Kids' Trot will be timed by Miles of Smiles.  We had over 300 registered runners/walkers last year!  We'd love to have even more this year!

Tough Tiger

Course Tough Tiger is an adventure-based course, geared toward kindergarten through 5th grade students and their families; however, people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. There are two course options: a 1.5 mile loop through the neighborhood streets and nearby woods, and a shorter adaptive course that stays on neighborhood streets and sidewalks, making it more accessible. The shorter course also has more adaptive features to cater to a range of abilities. Both courses start and end at Hampden Meadows School.
