4th Annual Run for Reading 5k

Stone Mountain, GA
TREAD Academy is hosting its 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk. Reading is the foundation of education, opportunity, and lifelong success—but many students in Georgia are struggling to reach that foundation. Nearly 1 million adults in Georgia have low literacy skills, which affects employment opportunities, economic mobility, and even the ability to support the next generation of learners.  The Run for Reading 5K was created to help change that trajectory. Each year, our community comes together to raise awareness and support literacy initiatives that put books in children’s hands, strengt

Stef's Vision - A Cure for Ocular Melanoma

Milwaukee, WI
Join us as we continue to stand beside and support our loved one, Stef Dorner, in her ongoing fight against ocular melanoma. Stef was first diagnosed in March of 2020. In early 2025, her diagnosis progressed to stage 4. This past year brought significant challenges. After five aggressive rounds of Hepzato to treat liver metastasis, Stef also underwent radiation to address metastasis in her lung. As we head into 2026, we gather with Hope in Sight. Stef’s most recent scans show stable tumors with no new growth, a milestone we were deeply thankful for. She continues to fight and is hopeful for a cure. Together, we will walk, gather, and raise awareness for this extremely rare eye cancer, diagnosed in only about 7,000 adults worldwide each year. We are proud to partner with A Cure In Sight to help accelerate research toward a cure and to provide resources and support for those impacted by this rare disease.10:00am - 11:00amDistrict Fore (D4) - NEW VENUE!Registration, t-shirt pickup, welcom
