The Best 5K on the Brazos

The racecourse for the Best 5K on the Brazos is a flat and scenic course that runs along the Brazos River from Indian Spring Park. Take this opportunity to possibly set a personal record for the 5K. This is the target race for the Waco Women's Training Program. So, please come out and support them as this will be the first 5K race for many of them. The 5K awards will include medals for the top overall male and female and for the first 3 male and female finishers in 5 yr. age categories from 14 and under to 65 and over. Note: Dogs are not allowed on the course for insurance and safety reasons.

Location: The race will begin and end at the Fort Smith Riverfront Park at 121 Riverfront Dr., Fort Smith, AR. Registration and Packet Pick-up Information: Online registration will be open through May 10, 2026.  Early packet pick-up will be held on THURSDAY (May 14) and FRIDAY (May 15) at 1500 Cavanaugh Road from 5:30-7:30 pm in Fort Smith. 5th Annual Katie's Grace + Grit 5K

Milton, MA
Katie Crowell was a dedicated member of our Milton community who gave 100% of herself in service to others. She was an advocate, a runner, a volunteer, a fundraiser, a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. This amazing woman was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer (MBC) in 2015 while 32 weeks pregnant. Katie has always used her passion for running to help others. Well before her MBC diagnosis, she was on the race team for the American Liver Foundation. It was there she met her husband, Mike. Later, after her diagnosis, Katie turned to her love of running to find some normalcy while continuing her work with various charities, including Dana-Farber, The Joe Andruzzi Foundation, Christmas in the City, and the Glover PTO. In the span of 15 years, Katie has raised well over $100,000 for her favorite causes. Armed with the knowledge that her subtype of cancer carried an average lifespan of 2-3 years, Katie persevered and made it her mission to raise awareness of MBC,

Our 2K and 5K routes are wheelchair and stroller accessible, while our 10K route does have a street with curbs that must be crossed two times. The 2K and 5K events are available to all runners and/or walkers, while the 10K is geared toward runners. All participants will receive a race bib with chip timers to allow for accurate timing. Annual Tie Dye 50K  Day: May 16, 2026 Race Start Time: 7:30 AM COURSE DESCRIPTION “John Bryan is the most scenic state park in western Ohio. The 752-acre park contains a remarkable limestone gorge cut by the Little Miami River which is designated as a state and national scenic river. A portion of the gorge itself is designated as a national natural landmark.” Tie Dye 50K IS CUPLESS! This means there will not be cups pre-set at any aid stations. An ORRRC collapsible, reusable cup is available to be added to your registration for $3 and the cup will be provided at packet pickup.  Please carry it with you as well as your water bottle. 51st Annual Oakwood's That Day in May Fun Run, 5k, 10k and Virtual Run

2026 marks the 51st Annual for the Oakwood 5k, 10k and Family Fun Run.  All those registering by May 1 will receive a technical shirt with their entry.     There is a virtual 5k option for those who can't make the actual race at Oakwood High School on May 16.
