Races

The racecourse for the Best 5K on the Brazos is a flat and scenic course that runs along the Brazos River from Indian Spring Park. Take this opportunity to possibly set a personal record for the 5K. This is the target race for the Waco Women's Training Program. So, please come out and support them as this will be the first 5K race for many of them. The 5K awards will include medals for the top overall male and female and for the first 3 male and female finishers in 5 yr. age categories from 14 and under to 65 and over. Note: Dogs are not allowed on the course for insurance and safety reasons.

Location: The race will begin and end at the Fort Smith Riverfront Park at 121 Riverfront Dr., Fort Smith, AR. Registration and Packet Pick-up Information: Online registration will be open through May 10, 2026.  Early packet pick-up will be held on THURSDAY (May 14) and FRIDAY (May 15) at 1500 Cavanaugh Road from 5:30-7:30 pm in Fort Smith. (Thursday pickup is preferred.) Please try to pickup your packet at one of these early pickup times, if feasible, to help reduce race day congestion. Packet pickup will be available on race morning (6:30am-7:45am) at the Riverfront for those who are unable to make early packet pickup times above.  Race-day registration will be available.  You must register by May 1, 2026 in order to purchase an event shirt. Registration Fee: The registration fee DOES NOT include an event shirt.  Entries fees are as follows: $30 through March 29, $40 from March 30 through May 10, $50 for race day registration. Entrants may select to purchase an event shirt for $25.

The 10k and 5k will take place on the 8 Mile Creek Trail in Paragould, Arkansas. D-Feet Cancer was formed in late 2021 after parents Jen and Will promised their 12-year-old son, Dalton, they wouldn’t stop fighting this disease to help kids like him. With support from family, friends, and community, D-Feet Cancer was formed in late 2021. In January 2023, D-Feet Cancer wrote a check for $100,000.08 (8 was Dalton’s favorite number) to fund one year of Ewing Sarcoma research. This research, in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh and St. Baldrick’s Foundation, aims to specifically target Ewing Sarcoma cells via cell surface receptors while leaving healthy cells alone. If successful, this treatment could significantly increase survivorship while limiting the often debilitating and sometimes fat

C.G Woodson High School 5k fundraiser is proud to support the Edward "Eddie" Zhou STEM and Figure Skating Enrichment Fund through Arlington Community Foundation (ACF), this memorial fund awards a $1,000 grant to a Northern Virginia middle or high school figure skater who is interested in STEM and is a valuable part of their community. Rockingham Park 5k

Join Open Door Community for a fun-filled day. Starting with a 5K in the town of Wytheville at the Open Door Cafe, crossing main street, and running down Spring street, through the historic homes of Wytheville, and back up across the train tracks. After the 5K, join us from 12 - 6 for a co-branded hosting of the Brews and Bands festival. This will be held at the Open Door Cafe in partnership with the Wythe Arts Council. The event will feature local musicians, brews, food, and kid activities, such as obstacle courses, bounce houses, and much more! Outdoor yoga on a weekend morning by the river is just what the yogi ordered! Become one with nature while you work on your flexibility and core strength. Yoga is for everybody and every body, not just the super flexible. The class led by Align Yoga, Rocks, and Reiki is a mixed-level flow and great for beginner to advanced practitioners, but we do ask that you have taken at least a class or two before showing up! This party is BYOM (bring your own mat) because no one wants grass stains on their palms from doing downward dog!

Kayak Boatercross:  First time trials and then a single elimination, head to head kayak race down the James, heats of 4-5 competitors will battle it out through the rapids and around the buoys to advance to the next round. Top two survivors move on until only four are left to compete in the championship heat. SUP Cross:  New day!  In this single elimination, head to head Stand Up Paddle Board race down the James, heats of 4-5 competitors will battle it out to advance to the next round. Katie Crowell was a dedicated member of our Milton community who gave 100% of herself in service to others. She was an advocate, a runner, a volunteer, a fundraiser, a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. This amazing woman was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer (MBC) in 2015 while 32 weeks pregnant. Katie has always used her passion for running to help others. Well before her MBC diagnosis, she was on the race team for the American Liver Foundation. It was there she met her husband, Mike. Later, after her diagnosis, Katie turned to her love of running to find some normalcy while continuing her work with various charities, including Dana-Farber, The Joe Andruzzi Foundation, Christmas in the City, and the Glover PTO. In the span of 15 years, Katie has raised well over $100,000 for her favorite causes. Armed with the knowledge that her subtype of cancer carried an average lifespan of 2-3 years, Katie persevered and made it her mission to raise awareness of MBC,

Come join CASA as we host our Plant the Pitch 5k. This fundraiser is to help CASA with a 3-acre field expansion. Race will take place at the CASA soccer fields where you will make 2 laps around the county property. This is the 22nd anniversary of the Lory's Place Run, Walk and Rock to benefit Lory's Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center.  Every year, Lory’s Place is honored and grateful for the community’s support of Run Walk Rock. The Upland Hills School Trail Runs will take place on May 16th, 2026 beginning at 9:30AM. Come join us for our annual 1 Miler, 5K and 10K Trail runs through Upland Hills School Campus. Upland Hills Farm and Bald Mountain State Recreation Area. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!  Eastside Racing Company will be providing Timing Services and live results! Join the Hamtramck Drug Free Community Coalition (HDFCC), a program of the Piast Institute, for its 17th Annual Hamtramck Health Hike.   This FREE 5K run/walk taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Starting and ending at Zussman Park in front of Hamtramck City Hall (3401 Evaline St.), this community event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. ForeShore Adventure Run is back for year ELEVEN. The lakeshore’s premiere 5k adventure run returns to Pere Marquette Beach on May 16, 2026, with new obstacles but the same mission: helping people to overcome life’s obstacles. Each registered participant receives a short-sleeved, moisture-wicking t-shirt. Your ticket purchase directly feeds the hungry and shelters the homeless; 100% of the proceeds support Muskegon Rescue Mission’s food pantry and homeless shelters. Join the fight against cancer and participate in the Corewell Health Foundation West Michigan: Wheatlake Wellness Walk and 5K on Saturday, May 16, 2026 We have both in-person and virtual options available.  Registration includes: - 2026 Wheatlake Wellness Walk & 5K race shirt Participants who pre-register by April 15 are guaranteed to receive a shirt. Registrations after can choose from extra shirts during packet-pick up while supplies last.  - Virtual Run/Walk option - Pride knowing that you are supporting local patients fighting cancer  - Results are live and will be available on this website after the event. Look for the QR code near the finish line!  - Awards: Top award winners can pick up medals immediately after the race - Children are allowed to participate with registered adults (strollers allowed).   The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

Annual Tie Dye 50K  Day: May 16, 2026 Race Start Time: 7:30 AM COURSE DESCRIPTION “John Bryan is the most scenic state park in western Ohio. The 752-acre park contains a remarkable limestone gorge cut by the Little Miami River which is designated as a state and national scenic river. A portion of the gorge itself is designated as a national natural landmark.” Tie Dye 50K IS CUPLESS! This means there will not be cups pre-set at any aid stations. An ORRRC collapsible, reusable cup is available to be added to your registration for $3 and the cup will be provided at packet pickup.  Please carry it with you as well as your water bottle. There will be absolutely no cups at aid stations (you will need to use your cup if you want to drink Coke or Ginger Ale, or grab some pretzels to go).  COURSE OVERVIEW 3 loop course traversing through beautiful John Bryan State Park–and is the same popular course used the last 4 years. 2026 marks the 51st Annual for the Oakwood 5k, 10k and Family Fun Run.  All those registering by May 1 will receive a technical shirt with their entry.     There is a virtual 5k option for those who can't make the actual race at Oakwood High School on May 16. The FREE family fun run is 1k and starts at 8:30am.  Fun Runners have the option of purchasing a shirt with their registration for $12.  The 5k, 10k and virtual options include a technical shirt with your entry if registered by May 1, 2026. The 5k and 10k will start at 9am on Dellwood.   Race day check-in will be outside the Mack Hummon Stadium behind Oakwood High School starting at 7:30am on May 16, 2026.     All those registered for the virtual event will be invited to submit results for compilation and will be posted on the Speedy Feet website.  We will also invite you to send us some of your race day pictures to post to our website.  For those running In-Person, we will have your results and pictures posted to our websit

Our course is full of people cheering you on no matter the weather. This is a fundraiser to benefit the Genesee County Free Medical Clinic. Highland DDA “Will Run for Pickles!” 5K Run/Walk   Kick off the Founders' Day Festival with a fun, flavorful 5K through some of Highland’s favorite spots! We’re hosting our inaugural Revive & Thrive's Miles for Meals 5K Walk/Run/Roll to bring our community together around health, connection, and joy. It’s a chance for neighbors, families, and friends to walk, roll, or run side by side, celebrating wellness and togetherness. Any funds raised will help us continue our meal program that provides fresh, medically supportive meals to families facing cancer, diabetes, or heart conditions. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just want to cheer others on, this event is about showing up for each other. Families, kids, seniors — all are welcome. Medals will be provided for all registrants. Sign up by April 12 to guarantee a T‑shirt. This is an untimed race. All ages and abilities are welcome to join the fun!

Join us on May 16th for the Coopers Troopers Foundation 5k - a fun-filled, family-friendly event benefiting the Coopers Troopers Foundation. Inspired by the strength and spirit of Cooper Shirk, this foundation is dedicated to supporting families throughout Carroll and the surrounding communities. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this 5K is open to all ages!!   Come run with Coop and support local families!   Food and drinks will be provided by local businesses supporting Cooper and the Cooper Trooper Foundation.

This is a fun Color Run run to honor the life and legacy of a local young adult, Morgan Patten. Proceeds will benefit the Morgan’s Miles To Go Foundation (501(c)(3). Morgan Patten was tragically and mysteriously killed while visiting her fiance in North Carolina in 2019.  A vibrant and beautiful young woman from Bradford, NH/Kearsarge Area accepted to law school and to be married to her true love.  An avid environmentalist and runner.  Keep her legacy of love and adventure alive! Run for Morgan!!!

Join us for the most scenic race on the Seacoast! The course is a beautiful run or walk through historic Newington Village streets, with water views, farmland, and some challenging hills. In addition to our original 5 miler, we now offer an option to run or walk a 5K course. With two great races and a Kids Fun Run, we have something to offer everyone! The Fox Point Sunset Road Race is the primary fundraiser for the Newington School Supporters.  Every year, the funds raised from your participation and our sponsors directly benefit the students of the Newington Public School.
