Ultimate Raider Challenge

DescriptionThe Ultimate Raider Challenge is hosted by the Grant Co HS JROTC and is a dynamic physical fitness competition designed to test teams and individual competitors’ endurance, speed, and agility, and teams' overall teamwork. The event is one continuous race that begins with a 1-mile run to assess cardiovascular stamina and set the tone for the day.  The 1-mile run will end at the 1st Obstacle Course Obstacle.  Competitors then tackle an approximately 1.5-mile obstacle course, navigating through a variety of physical challenges that test strength, coordination, and mental toughness. After the last obstacle, participants continue directly to the football field to sprint through a shuttle run, emphasizing quick bursts of speed, strength, stamina, agility, and precise movement. A backyard-style run-til-you-stop ultra race at Kate Furbish Preserve East in Brunswick, ME. Join us for a long, fun, hard day of running on coastal Maine trails on May 9, 2026! Sample some of the finest single and double track Buttermilk Mountain (elevation 121ft) has to offer. Nutrition: not provided. PFAS: guaranteed. Stoke: High. What is a backyard race? This race takes place on a combination of paved road surfaces and a beautiful, partially-wooded looped trail on the OhioHealth McConnell Heart Health Center property. The 5K course is mostly flat, with one or two hills. The 1-Mile Walk event will start at 8:30am followed by the 5K Walk/Run event at 9:00am. Gator Grinder Triathlon

The North Lake Physical Therapy Gator Grinder Triathlon is an excellent introduction for the first-time triathlete, as well as a great early season event for the experienced racer.  All proceeds support the Canby Gators Swim Club.  Thank you for your support. Swim 500-yard (20 lengths, 10 laps) pool swim in a 6-lane, 25-yard pool, with up to 4 swimmers per lane. There will be volunteer lap counters. Drafting is permitted. The swim will be seeded by 500-yard swim-time submissions. Heat assignments will be e-mailed by the Thursday before the race.
