Join us on Mother's Day weekend for a 5K run/walk around the scenic Shawnee Lake at Shawnee State Park. There will be medals for the top 3 finishers in each age group. There will be shirts for all who preregister by Apr. 27th. Refreshments will be available at the finish line. Race day registration will be $25. Please no pets for insurance reasons.

What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk? The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! So what is Scenic City Cyclo and why? This ride explores all the reasons Chattanooga earned the nickname Scenic City.  From the picturesque views of the river to the majestic peaks and rolling hills. You will be transported through Chattanooga in a whole new way. We came up with the name because you would crazy not to do this ride.  Get it Cyclo and psycho!!!  All joking aside, we are crazy for Chattanooga and could not bear the thought of there not being an epic road ride in May. So we have created Scenic City Cyclo to continue traditions of awesome cycling experiences in Tennessee. We want to hear form you on all your thoughts on what makes riding here special? Come and join us for the 51st Annual Marigold 10K.  This flat and fast USATF-certified course and Peachtree qualifier (#GA19035DJ) is one of the oldest 10K races in Georgia, second only to the Peachtree 10K.  The race is held as part of the annual Winterville Marigold Festival in Pittard Park. This is an out and back walk or run 5K or 10K. This event will take place at the Pompano Air Park! There will be a clock at the finish line so you can see your time, this a non-scored event. This is an event that is perfect for you to run honoring your mom or an event to be completed with your mom... maybe you want a morning off from the kids this is the perfect opportunity to do so! The O4W5K is a run/walk through the streets of the historic Old Fourth Ward benefitting Hope-Hill Elementary, the traditional K-5 public school serving the O4W neighborhood.  The race starts across the street from Ponce City Market, at the base of Historic Old Fourth Ward park, and runs throughout the O4W, including Auburn Avenue where the MLK Jr. Historic District is located.  T-SHIRTS: We have the best tees of any other 5K in Atlanta. The Sheyenne High School Track & Field Team is proud to host the 10th Annual Greg Grooters Memorial Run on the streets of West Fargo on Saturday, May 9, 2026.Greg Grooters passed away in 2016 after battling cancer. He was a dedicated teacher, coach, and administrator within West Fargo Public Schools. As the first principal of Sheyenne High School, Greg took great pride in establishing the school and building traditions that continue to shape its culture today.Greg was also an avid runner and passionate supporter of track and cross country. He participated in countless road races and coached the West Fargo and Moorhead High School track and cross country teams to State Championships. A backyard-style run-til-you-stop ultra race at Kate Furbish Preserve East in Brunswick, ME. Join us for a long, fun, hard day of running on coastal Maine trails on May 9, 2026! Sample some of the finest single and double track Buttermilk Mountain (elevation 121ft) has to offer. Nutrition: not provided. PFAS: guaranteed. Stoke: High. What is a backyard race? Run a 4.17 mile lap on the same course every hour on the hour. If you don't finish a loop within the hour, you are out of the race. 12 hour cutoff time for a maximum of 50 miles of running. The annual Dash at Dawn 5k & Fun Run is officially back, and we want YOU on the starting line! Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just looking for a morning run with a mission, this is the race to be at! ☀️🏃‍♀️ Dash at Dawn was inspired by the 20-year legacy of our inaugural PE teacher, Coach Dawn. She saw running not just as a sport, but as an equalizer that bridges cultures and backgrounds in our community. We lace up to celebrate that spirit of inclusion! ICS is the only IB school in Georgia designed to educate refugee, immigrant, and local students together in a community dedicated to mutual learning. Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CWEP) is hosting our annual Tower 2 Tower Run featuring a 5k & 1-mile fun run/walk, on Saturday, May 9th. This event helps celebrates Drinking Water Week (May 3rd-9th). This is an important week set aside each year to help bring awareness to the Carthage community of the benefits of tap water, that a safe, reliable water supply is critical to the success of any community. Run for Stacy: A Community 5K We’ve known Stacy as a helper, a good neighbor, a loyal friend — and our favorite “cake therapist.” She’s the kind of person who quietly shows up for others without ever asking for anything in return. In June 2025, Stacy was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Since then, her world has shifted overnight. She is no longer able to work, and her focus is now fully on treatment, rest, and spending meaningful time with the people she cares about most. This 5K is our opportunity to return her kindness. Why We’re Running The purpose of this fundraiser is simple: to surround Stacy with tangible support and relieve the financial pressure that comes with serious illness.
