What Is OUTLAST? OUTLAST is a 6-hour trail endurance challenge where runners complete a 5K every hour, on the hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to stay in the event. If you finish early, you rest until the next round. Miss a lap, and you’re out. Complete all six rounds, and you OUTLAST. This isn't just about speed — it's about pacing, discipline, and mental grit. Whether you're trying to survive all six or win your division, the challenge is the same: show up each hour, push your limits, and stay in it. Each course is trail-based, with natural terrain, elevation, and unpredictable conditions. You’ll have time between rounds to recover, refuel, and refocus — but not much. What You Earn: ​4 laps = “Grit Earned” patch 5 laps = “Survivor” patch 6 laps = Premium “OUTLAST” 6-inch medal ​​All participants receive a premium OUTLAST Tee. Top male and female with the fastest combined 5K times at each event win the 1st Place OUTLAST award. Finishers are ranked on the world leaderboard—and the fastest runner across all OUTLAST 6-hour events (including the Championship) will be crowned World Champion and take home a cash prize of $1,000. The top 5 Male and Female 6-hour champions from each city will earn a spot in the Outlast World Championship in DFW December 4 2027, where they’ll compete against the best of the best at the end of the Tour, and the 1st-3rd place male and female winners of the Championship take home a cash prize, listed below. (This is separate from the world leaderboard prize money.) 1st place = $1,200 2nd place = $800 3rd place = $500 Frequently Asked Questions: Do I have to run all 6 laps? Nope. Run as many as you can. If you complete 4 or 5, you'll still earn a patch. Only those who finish all 6 get the OUTLAST medal and leaderboard ranking. What happens if I don’t finish a lap in time? You're out. The next lap starts at the top of the next hour, and only those who completed the last lap on time can continue. How is the race timed? Each 5K is timed individually. If you complete all 6, your combined time counts toward the local win and world leaderboard. Are these trail races or road? Every OUTLAST race is on trail terrain — dirt, rocks, roots, and elevation. Sometimes some pavement and gravel. Can I walk? Yes, as long as you finish the 5K within the hour. But some courses are rugged, and time can sneak up on you. Are there aid stations? Yes. There will be water, basic hydration, and snacks at the basecamp/loop start. This is a cupless event — bring your own bottle or hydration system. What should I bring? Trail shoes, hydration system, layers (weather dependent), fuel between laps, and grit. Can I setup a tent? Absolutely, bring your own aid station/tent setup. Is OUTLAST for beginners? GODSPEED 12 is a 12-hour community endurance festival created to bring runners, walkers, families, and neighbors together for a full day of movement, perseverance, encouragement, and purpose. Whether you are completing your first 5K, pursuing a 10K or half marathon, working toward a marathon or ultramarathon, or simply challenging yourself to go farther than you have before, GODSPEED 12 gives you the opportunity to choose your goal and move at your own pace. We're Back! The 3rd Annual Holiday Hustle 5k dashes into town on Saturday, December 12, 2026, 8am! Run, jog, stroll—or shuffle like you’re late to a holiday party—in this festive, chip-timed fun run. For the younger crowd (ages 0-9), we’ve got the Kids 1k Reindeer Dash—antlers optional, but highly recommended. YES! There are age group awards, but let’s be honest: the real prize is the festive t-shirt and finisher medal you’ll casually wear to every family gathering as proof you’re both athletic and jolly. Holiday attire is “optional” in the same way fruitcake is “optional” at Christmas—it’s happening whether you like it or not. And yes, there are prizes for the best dressed, so start planning your elf-on-the-runway look now. Check-in is between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. You can start your run/walk whenever you would like or join the 'group' start at 8:30 AM and run with the group! The rolling start allows you a choice, flexibility to go at your pace but please arrive by 9:00 AM (check in ends promptly at 9:00 AM, thank you!). Along the trail there will be mile markers out, and bottled water available to take with you (there is no water on the course) or bring your own filled water bottle. The social run includes the run/walk, a custom branded pint glass, three brews and tacos from THAT TACO DUDE. Take part in Grace Episcopal’s Christmas Carol Classic with a 5K Jingle Bell Run and 1-Mile Holiday Stroll in historic downtown Cullman, and make this cheeriest of races an annual holiday tradition! The event coincides with Cullman’s Christkindlmarket and the race route will take in some of the festival’s sites and sounds as it journeys past Festhalle Marketplatz, through Cullman’s scenic warehouse shopping district, and the beautiful neighborhoods and townscapes surrounding the Church. Jingle bells will accompany race bibs. Holiday attire is encouraged. Well-behaved leashed pets are welcome. (Be sure to bring your furry family members back for our annual community-wide Blessing of the Animals in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis the first week in October.) US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. 5th Annual Santa Paws 5k-9, 10K-9 Run/Walk hosted by The Mills Group of Keller Williams This race benefits the North Central Florida Humane Society. Their vision and purpose is to help create a vibrant, animal welfare-focused community by improving the lives of homeless pets of North Central Florida and beyond. We are partnering with them to help animals find their fur-ever homes. This race starts at the beautiful Albert Ray Massey Park (Westside) in Gainesville, FL. This will be a chip timed event with live results. Race Date and time is Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 8:30am. Packet pick up will begin at 7:30am race day. In partnership with Sound Physicians and Fleet Feet, Mary's Place is thrilled to announce the re-launch of the beloved Reindeer Race! On Saturday, December 12th, we will run against bullies and make sure everyone joins in the “Reindeer Games” at Bryan Square at the Savannah Trade and Convention Center. One of Savannah’s best family-oriented run events, the Reindeer Run benefits the important work of Mary's Place: Sexual Assault Center of the Coastal Empire, Inc (formerly Rape Crisis Center). This is a family friendly event open to all. Costumes are highly encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best costume. Santa Claus will be joining as well! Registration for the 5 Miler Run/Walk registration is $35 before 12/6 and will increase to $40 until 12/10. The 1 mile race is $25 before 12/6 will increase to $30 until 12/10. The Kiddie Run and Diaper Dash are complimentary for ages 10 and under. The 3 different races offer runs for people and families of all fitness levels. All registered racers will receive a race medal and t-shirt. The race t-shirt has been designed by famed Savannah artist Tiffani Taylor so please register by 11/15 to ensure you take home Tiffani's custom design for the Reindeer Race! Proceeds will support the Prevention Education program at Mary's Place which offers training for local schools, colleges, and community organizations throughout the Coastal Empire.
