This is an outdoor heated 25 meter pool. Pool is generally heated to 81-82F. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. Lost Souls - The Race That Finds You Saturday, December 12th, 2026 As many loops as you can in 8 hours Background: Last Trail Standing (November) and Rise Up Hero (May) are awesome sister races along the trails of Settlers Cabin Park that both offer various race distances up to 50K. BUT... I've been wanting to create a different kind of race. One that would truly test people mentally, physically, and emotionally. So...I went searching for the most challenging small loop at Settlers Cabin Park and…I think I found it. A brutal ~5K (unpublished and partly made up) trail loop that climbs roughly 550 feet of elevation every loop. Here's how the race works: You can sign up for the 5K Loopy Loop if you simply want to experience the course and enjoy the challenge. You run 1 loop for the honor of saying you ran the 5K loop from hell. Or… You can sign up for the ENDURE challenge and you do as many loops as you can possibly endure in 8 hours. Unlike backyard ultra formats, you DO NOT have to start each loop on the hour. You start when you think you're ready to take on another soul shattering journey. Runners will work to complete the maximum race distance of 10 loops or as many loops as they can within 8 hours. Each loop brings you back to the start, where you must decide: Do you continue to endure…or do you ring the bell and proudly take your wood chip and loop count with you. The maximum is 10 loops, making it a 50K ultra with ~5,500 feet of elevation gain. Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female runners who complete all 10 loops. This race isn't just for ultra runners wanting an incredibly hard 50K challenge. It's also for the people who want to dig deep and see how far they can go. The spirit of the race is to endure for as long as you can. And once you're ready to tap, you ring the bell and you receive a unique keep sake—a reminder of the moment you faced the course, the struggle, and what you discovered about yourself along the way. Lost Souls isn’t just about finishing. It’s about finding out how much you can endure and what you learn about yourself along the way. It's when we're most challenged, that we see our truest self. General Race Information The Paris Mountain Road Race 10k is a hilly run around the base of Paris Mountain starting and finishing at Redeemer Presbyterian Church at 6150 Old Buncombe Rd., Greenville, SC. The total elevation gain over the 10K distance is roughly 1500 feet. With over 2500 vertical feet of elevation gain, 89 curves, and some hills at 15% grade, the Paris Mountain Road Race 20k lives up to its billing as the TOUGHEST RACE IN THE SOUTH. The race starts at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, ascends the north side of Paris Mountain, descends on the south side, and uses the hilly back roads at the base of the mountain to return. Sorry, but strollers and dogs are not permitted in the Paris Mountain Road Races.

It's tiiiiiiime! We want to see your ugliest, weirdest, or fanciest holiday ensemble on Saturday, December 12th for the Friends of the Met CAC Ugly Sweater 5K in Forest Acres, SC! Proceeds and donations will benefit Friends of the Met CAC, a non-profit organization established to support the mission of the Metropolitan Children’s Advocacy Center (Met CAC). The Met CAC provides essential services to children who are suspected victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and other types of maltreatment. Your support helps the Met CAC in their fight against child abuse. The race will be officially timed by Fleet Feet Columbia. Be sure to hang around after the race and enjoy a holiday themed awards celebration. Awards will be given to top finishers, as well as to the participant with the "ugliest" outfit. You do not have to live in the Central Time Zone of the U.S. Day One includes topics such as principles of coaching, building a periodized training program, understanding exercise physiology for coaching, and running form. After Day One, you will be asked to sketch out training plans based on the Case Studies introduced. This informal, ungraded "homework" assignment asks you to apply materials from Day One to prepare for Day Two's group work. Day Two includes the business of coaching, sports psychology, nutrition for coaching, recognizing injuries and prevention, environmental factors that affect running performance, and building training programs as a group activity. Online Course Overview: The course will be team taught by RRCA coaching education instructors. Registration is limited to 35 participants to encourage a positive, interactive learning experience. Full attendance and participation is required during the course in order to complete the certification process. While every cohort receives the same curriculum, every cohort has a different dynamic, so the schedule may be modified to suit the specific needs of the weekend program. FedEx will ship the hard-copy course book directly to the U.S. mailing address listed in a participant's registration at no additional charge the week before the course. *The address you enter during registration must be able to accept FedEx shipments.* International participants will be contacted individually by email to discuss delivery options. Course participants will receive multiple pre-course emails from our Director of Coaching Education, Randy Accetta, with important information and reminders. Please read these emails! Instructors will email a link to participants to join the Zoom classroom several days before the course takes place. Course participants will need a computer, tablet, or phone with video and audio capabilities on a reliable internet connection. Participants should set up in a quiet space to avoid distractions and disruptions from others. Instructors will use both the audio and video functions, and will use the screen share feature to display the course slides. There will be opportunities for both written and spoken discussion and Q&A during the course. There will be small-group work on program development in breakout Zoom rooms. Instructors will take attendance at various points during both course days. The Zoom course may be recorded for the RRCA's use. A participant's course registration and attendance indicate understanding and agreement that all photos and videos will become the property of the RRCA. As part of the certification process, prospective coaches must provide proof of current CPR and First Aid certifications within 60 days after the course. The RRCA is accepting CPR and First Aid certifications that are completed online, in person, or in a hybrid format. The post-course exam will follow standard online exam protocols, in which participants are required to take the open-book exam without assistance from others. Prospective coaches will have 30 days after the course to complete the online exam. A score of 85/100 or better is required for certification. Waitlist Procedure: If a course has reached capacity, a prospective participant may register for that course's waitlist. The prospective participant will receive an email if space becomes available and will have 24 hours to complete the online registration process before the space is offered to the next person on the waitlist. Cancellation and Refund Policy: Participants may request withdrawal from a course and partial refund in the amount of $300 ($350 - $50 cancellation fee) up to 14 days before the course date. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals requested less than two weeks before a course. Email coaching@rrca.org to submit a cancellation request. Participants MAY NOT sell or give their spot to another person if they cannot attend the course. Transfers to different course cohorts are not permitted. A participant must first request withdrawal from the original course, and then re-register for the new course, if space permits.

The 4 miler will begin at 8:00 am at Lake Accotink Park The course will traverse paved trails, gravel and some dirt trails. We will start and end the 4miler at Lake Accotink Park (NEW THIS YEAR). Runners will follow the CCT Trail towards Byron Park do a loop and return to Lake Accotink.

The McLean Rotary is proud to kick off its 4th annual Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk. As an organization built on service, business development, and community, this race raises funds for the local charities we support and the continued relationships we have within our local & surrounding districts. Packet Pickup Information The 2026 Holiday RunFest: Half, 4 Miler, & 17.1 Challenge is back for the 12th year! This event runs through the the Annandale trail near and around Lake Accotink. The course will traverse primarily paved trails, some gravel and some dirt trails as well.

18th Annual Sleighbell 5K Run Saturday, December 12th 2026 At: Jamestown High School 3751 John Tyler Highway Williamsburg, VA 23188. The course utilizes the Virginia Capital Trail, Powhatan Creek Trail and the Greensprings Trail. This is a 5K Run and a Competitive 5K Walk. The course is not currently USATF Certified. This race is a 2026 Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix race. A virtual Sleighbell 5K is available for those who cannot make it on race day. Virtual participants receive a race T and finisher medal. Packets can be picked up on Dec. 13th at Colonial Sports or mailed for a $9.00 fee. A portion of proceeds from the Sleighbell 5K Will benefit area Youth in after school activities provided by the WJCC School Health Initiative Program (S.H.I.P.). US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. Get ready for the most RUNderful time of the year! The half marathon is a gorgeous out-and-back course starting in downtown Tacoma, with a few rolling hills to keep those legs awake and working. You’ll run along the waterfront until it connects to the Ruston Way Path, where you’ll head towards the Point Ruston Waterwalk and Tacoma’s Dune Peninsula Park. Before turning around, you’ll go up the Wilson Way Bridge for a bird’s eye view of the area, and then make your way back down the waterfront to finish downtown. The 10K is an out-and-back following along the half marathon route, starting in downtown Tacoma and running along the waterfront. The 5K is an annual tradition and fun for the whole family, runners and walkers are welcome to join in this 3.1 mile event. All finishers will receive one of our famous Santa Runs Tacoma medals.

The Christmas Rush will celebrate 44 years on December 12. The race features a 5k run/walk and a 10k run. along the scenic Green River. NEW 10k Course! The 10k will start on the west side of the Green River, will cross over and finish on the east side. Both the 5k and 10k will finish in the same location. Participants age 13 and under are FREE courtesy of Taylor Farms! Awards will be given to top five winners in each age group following the race. We are going to be using the race funds to install a permanent micro chip scanner for lost pets at Bold Republic Brewing. This is a project from the Human-Animal Support Coalition here in Temple TX and they are the beneficiary of all race proceeds.
