2026 Race Dates: May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5 & September 2 This is a free 5k race series which includes 5 races held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. You do not need to be an LVRR club member to participate in this series. Sign up online and come out to Lehigh Parkway for this relaxed, no-frills race. This is a race series for EVERYONE! As long as you have a bicycle worthy of being ridden on dirt, and can pedal it, you can do this! If you are a pro, it’s great for training. If you are new to Mountain Biking and/or Riverside State Park, it’s a great way to learn the trails and make new friends. We use the term “race” loosely. We are all about fun and keeping it simple! Come out on Wednesday Nights and ride your bike. Pedal as hard as you want or casually if you want. If pedaling casually, do keep in mind that it will eventually get dark! New course every week. 5k Run Walk around Mattis Park

Sundown Trail Races consist of a SIX-race series on the trails at ASC Greenway in Fort Mill, SC hosted by the Rock Hill Striders.  The Southern summers are long and hot and we all welcome when the sun hits the horizon for a break in the heat.  Chase the sun towards the horizon in one or all of these races.  Races will be held on Wednesdays in May, June, July, and August, at 6:30 pm near the Canteen at ASC Greenway (Lake Haigler Entrance).   Register for all SIX races and receive some awesome swag to commemorate the series.  This will be a low-capacity event so register early. With the addition of two events, we are adding to the prizes that will be awarded.  Half of the events will have a raffle, where all participants are entered to win. The Mid-Atlantic Multisport Open Water Swim Series is a collection of open water training swims and skills & safety clinics spread throughout the spring and summer months. Expanded program for 2026. New Hiking group option along with Trail running group. Runners can expect to do a level 1-level 2 distance trail run each week, with some weeks including an intensity workout. Hikers will explore the trails without the extra challenge of running. The focus of this group is to maintain your physical fitness throughout the summer months and get outside on the trails for a run with like minded individuals.

The Amway River Bank Run, presented by Fifth Third Bank with Corewell Health as the Official Health Partner, is held every year in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan on the second Saturday of May.  This year, on May 9, 2026, we will be celebrating 49 years and are looking forward to filling the streets of Grand Rapids with the largest 25K road race in the country, which includes the USA 25 km Open Championships, 25K Handcycle, 25K Wheelchair, 10K Run, 5K Run and 5K Community Walk.   In addition to our in-person events, we offer virtual events that give individuals an opportunity to participate by completing the distance of their choice (25K, 10K, 5K, or 5K walk) on the course of their choice and any day that works between May 1 and May 31.    Each virtual event offers extended finishing times (unlike the in-person course cutoffs) and having this flexibility makes the Virtual Race a great option for many runners and walkers.  Plus, you still receive all the commemorative Amway River Bank R

This early season duathlon is perfect to dust off those bikes and get ready for multi-sport season. This event is great for experienced athletes as well as those wanting to try their first duathlon. Both of the run courses are within Secor Metropark on hard packed gravel trails and the bike course is a two loop course on surrounding roads. We are celebrating the 29th annual Muskie 5k.  This longstanding event supports Jamestown Students for Charity Club, which helps many students in the Jamestown Area School District, using its funds to help those in our community in need.  The weeknight race runs through Pymatuning State Park in Jamestown, PA.  This unique course runs across the Pymatuning Dam,  offering picturesque views of the reservoir and park.  Handmade wooden muskie trophies will be given to the overall winners male and female and the top 3 finishers male and female in each age bracket. *New for this year!!!  1/2 mile kids race ($5 entry fee)

In Greek mythology, Cerberus is a THREE-headed dog who guards the gates of Hades.In adventure racing, Cerberus is the THREE-day stage race that we think will be pretty dog-gone fun! The second Cerberus Expedition Stage Race will take place from May 7-11, 2026 at Wilderness Adventure (11176 Peaceful Valley Rd, New Castle, VA 24127). The unique setup of this event allows racers to experience the thrill of multi-day racing without all of the sleep deprivation and dependency on a diet of solely sports nutrition. Each day will feature a unique course which allows teams up to 12 hours to complete and features a specific race discipline (paddling, cycling, trekking), though you will do several disciplines each day.  There will be plenty of navigational challenges as well.  The course will be designed to challenge both beginners and more advanced racers. Offering a diverse and challenging terrain for runners and hikers at all levels, the series fits easily into many spring training plans – though the trails are so peaceful and scenic that you will forget that you are training! Run the traditional Loucks Masters' Mile which is 4 laps around the White Plains High School track under the lights, held right after the Thursday night scholastic track races, professionally timed. The start time is to be determined and contingent upon the end of Thursday night's track events for the scholastic competitors, but it is estimated to begin around 7:30 p.m. We have one of the youngest Masters' Miles starting at 30 years old and up. The 11th Annual Biz Dash 5K presented by World Wide Technology returns this spring to Energizer Park on Thursday, May 7th in Downtown St. Louis! The Spectrum Team Village will be open from 5-9pm. Big news this year: Light The Night 5K is now a THREE-race series! CASA of the Heartland will host the Light the Night 5K: Superhero Walk/Run on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Elizabethtown Sports Park. Our goal is to raise awareness for the most vulnerable children in our community—and use this night to pay tribute to our local heroes who protect and serve. Your Job is to sign up for our challenge and come and join the training every friday and run the course through our race joy system. Friday, May 8, 2026 - Saturday, May 9, 2026. Previously known as the J&J, this trail racing event of the year is now on Labor Day weekend; and is our pinnacle of off road racing and fun. Held at the adventure capital of Texas, Camp Eagle, only a couple hours from San Antonio, a few hours from Austin, and well worth a longer drive or flight from anywhere, this event is where a huge chunk of Tejas Trails history took place and is very special to all of us who have raced here. Now we are taking it to a whole new level. This 3 day festival will include trail running races, rucking races, mountain bike races, biathlon races, and a handful of extra fun contests in the water and the sky, which will result in this being one of the biggest trail sports bashes of the year.  Runners and Riders will be enjoying the amazing technical trails and beautiful vistas. Welcome to the Traverse City Trail Running Festival! Northern Michigan’s premier celebration of off-road running, this event takes you through the stunning Pere Marquette Forest along a variety of singletrack and wide doubletrack trails. The festival kicks off on Friday evening with a two-person 10K relay and a 5K, followed by Saturday morning’s exciting lineup of individual races: 10K, 25K, 50K, 75K, and 100K, plus the 100K relay. All races start and finish at the Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort. After your run, stay and unwind with post-race snacks, beverages, fire pits, yard games, and cheer on fellow participants. The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is the largest independent organization devoted to melanoma. Our mission is to eradicate melanoma by accelerating medical RESEARCH while EDUCATING and ADVOCATING for the melanoma community. The Stay Out of the Sun Run is a one-of-a-kind Friday evening event that allows participants to support and raise funds for the MRF by coming together in their community alongside fellow melanoma patients, survivors, caregivers and supporters.
