Sundown Trail Races

Sundown Trail Races consist of a SIX-race series on the trails at ASC Greenway in Fort Mill, SC hosted by the Rock Hill Striders.  The Southern summers are long and hot and we all welcome when the sun hits the horizon for a break in the heat.  Chase the sun towards the horizon in one or all of these races.  Races will be held on Wednesdays in May, June, July, and August, at 6:30 pm near the Canteen at ASC Greenway (Lake Haigler Entrance).   Register for all SIX races and receive some awesome swag to commemorate the series.  This will be a low-capacity event so register early. You do not need to be an LVRR club member to participate in this series. Sign up online and come out to Lehigh Parkway for this relaxed, no-frills race. Cerberus 3-Day Expedition Stage Race

In Greek mythology, Cerberus is a THREE-headed dog who guards the gates of Hades.In adventure racing, Cerberus is the THREE-day stage race that we think will be pretty dog-gone fun! The second Cerberus Expedition Stage Race will take place from May 7-11, 2026 at Wilderness Adventure (11176 Peaceful Valley Rd, New Castle, VA 24127). The unique setup of this event allows racers to experience the thrill of multi-day racing without all of the sleep deprivation and dependency on a diet of solely sports nutrition. Each day will feature a unique course which allows teams up to 12 hours to complete and features a specific race discipline (paddling, cycling, trekking), though you will do several disciplines each day.  There will be plenty of navigational challenges as well.  The course will be designed to challenge both beginners and more advanced racers. Northern Michigan’s premier celebration of off-road running, this event takes you through the stunning Pere Marquette Forest along a variety of singletrack and wide doubletrack trails. The festival kicks off on Friday evening with a two-person 10K relay and a 5K, followed by Saturday morning’s exciting lineup of individual races: 10K, 25K, 50K, 75K, and 100K, plus the 100K relay. All races start and finish at the Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort. After your run, stay and unwind with post-race snacks, beverages, fire pits, yard games, and cheer on fellow participants. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Glynn County event will be held in downtown Brunswick on Friday, May 8th.  The Relay For Life movement features community events that offer an inspiring opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember those who have had cancer, and raise money to help end cancer.
