The event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with a health resource fair, followed by the 5K walk/run at 9:00 a.m. The 3.1-mile loop course is flat and scenic, winding through Campbell Park. Water stations will be available at the start/finish line and halfway point, with public restrooms at the finish. On Saturday, May 2nd, 2025, the Shipshewana Mayfest Road Run will be taking place as part of Shipshewana's Annual Mayfest celebration.  The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels. We will kick things off at 8:15 a.m. with the 1 Mile Fun Run. The race will begin near 345 North Morton Street at the Wolfe Building. The fun run will be run on the newly paved North Street.  It will be a straight out and back run for the kids.  The kids will finish close to where they started. Medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls. At 8:30 am, the 5K Shipshewana Road Run begins. 2026 Granby Road Race

Granby, CT
The annual Granby Road Race will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. One of Connecticut’s oldest and most historic road races, the 10K features a rolling, scenic course that winds along local roads and through the beautiful McLean Game Refuge. A 5K option is also available, with a course that runs partly on the road and partly through Salmon Brook Park. Both races start just south of Granby Middle School on Route 10. The 5K heads south on Route 10 and enters Salmon Brook Park, where runners complete a loop before returning to Route 10 and heading north back to Granby Middle School. The 10K continues south on the west side of Route 10 to Canton Road, where runners turn right and enter the McLean Game Refuge. After exiting the refuge, runners return to the west side of Route 10, continue north, and turn left into the semi-circle driveway in front of Granby Memorial High School, finishing at the high school. Chase the Shadow Free Fun Run

Chase the Shadow is a free, untimed fun run/walk/roll that is open to participants of all fitness levels.      How does is work? The rules are pretty simple. Just finish the 5k route before The Shadow. Participants will follow a bicycle lead on a route that follows the Fort Wayne Trails network. The route will be clearly and marked, but we won’t have police presence so be sure to follow traffic laws at road crossings!
