Are you FAST? As in you are standing between a herd of reindeer and carrots and have to run for your life? Are you FESTIVE? As in the only one that dresses up for holidays at your office/school? Are you GIVING? As in in you always ask others if they want the last piece of cake before you take it? Of course, this list could go on - do you enjoy competition, camaraderie, fun, food, and jolly time? If you answered YES to ANY of these questions, this is the race for you! The long 'running', Jingle Jog race since the 80s, started off simply as a holiday season fun run. Through the years it became more popular and also competitive as it also became the final race of the Orange Runners Club Grand Prix race series and the club's running calendar year. This year, we are USATF-sanctioned and are giving away a long-sleeve thermal shirt to the first 120 registrants! The Jingle Jog has been held in several different locations around the area with various distances and courses. What they all have in common is the holiday flavor with seasonal costumes welcomed and a warm post-race environment with food and drink. In addition, as a timed race and part of the Grand Prix, it is also the last opportunity to pick up more points for the year! However, the best reason to come out and participate is to simply enjoy the holiday season with our running community and friends as the year closes out. This year, all proceeds will go back to the Orange County community by way of the ORC Scholarship and the Sole Purpose shoe campaign! Join Twin Lakes Community as we celebrate 20 years of Lanes of Light! Choose your Christmas Adventure - take the Elf Express (follow the Elf signs) or the Reindeer Route (follow the reindeer signs)! The Elf Express is a merry mile for everyone; making a loop around the main roads of Twin Lakes. For those of you who want to go a little further with Santa's favorite team, choose the Reindeer Route which will cover both sides of the Twin Lakes campus. Race/walk/roll and stroll through our annual holiday light display. Along with the light display, prepare to meet the residents who call this place home. Many of them will be cheering and serenading you with holiday song from the sidelines as you make your way through the course. The event will be held Sunday, December 6 beginning at 4:30 p.m. We recommend arriving between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm in order to park and get to starting area. The official run/walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. sharp. No late comers. The event wrap-up will include cookies, hot chocolate, and a visit from the big guy himself. Plan to be off the course by 7:00 p.m. Please register and place T-shirt orders by October 30 to guarantee your specific size. Proceeds and collected donations will be distributed evenly between our local Meals on Wheels program and the Salvation Army. You’ve got questions, we’ve got some answers. Hillsborough Running Club is proud to present the 8th annual Running of the Elves event. Run in front of the Hillsborough Holiday Parade crowd. The race starts 10 minutes before the Parade begins, and follows the same route. Experience the joy of running fast downhill in front of thousands of cheering people. Elf themed. Each participant has the option to select an Elf t-shirt, an Elf hat, and bells. You are expected to wear these during the run. We want to see a sea of Elves running though town. Please make sure you know where your shirt and hat are and that they fit. 2025 Loop Race! THE LOOP COURSE RETURNS. BMRC is always looking to elevate the race experience! This year we will be adding live tracking at the race with the RACEJOY APP. We will have 2 remote chip timed splits at the ~3 miles and ~ 6 mile marks. If you run with your phone, you'll also be tracked in real time via the app. Family and friends from anywhere can send you encouragement while you are racing the famous Loop Race! For all details please click HERE This 8.4 mile fall classic follows Philadelphia's most beautiful recreational path around the Schuylkill River. Started in 1972 by Dave Brier of the Jewish Y, this race has been a local favorite “cult” race for 53 years. The course is run on the sidewalk and is self contained the whole way and free of any traffic. The course will pass many historic sites including the East Falls Bridge, Laurel Hill Cemetery, Strawberry Mansion Bridge, the Art Museum and Boat House Row. The course is almost entirely flat. Proceeds of the event will benefit the development and maintenance of Fairmount Park, specifically the Belmont Plateau Cross Country courses. Philadelphia Athletic Charities is committed to providing for the upkeep of the Belmont Plateau which is used by thousands of cross country runners. Please note, there are no refunds. Located at the beautiful Lofer’s Bend Day Use Area along the shores of Lake Whitney, this is primo gravel that is just a stone's throw for riders in DFW, Waco, and Austin—and well worth the drive if you are coming from further out! Club Spinistry Member Benefits: Untimed options are FREE for current members, and all annual members save at least $55 on the timed 80-mile route ( balance is for timing reimbursement). If the participant in question cannot produce a valid State ID at the time the protest is filed, the protest will be automatically granted. The Finish Line: For safety reasons, the finish chute is configured to NOT allow for a sprint finish. The timed distance is treated as a mass-start time trial. Earn your spot out on the course, not by sitting on a wheel and saving your legs for the last 100 yards. Note: Riders finishing within one second of each other will be awarded identical times. Important: Number Plate Mounting! Thanks to our friend Dylan Johnson doing the math, it is now a REQUIREMENT that all timed riders properly mount their number plates. Failure to do so will result in a time penalty. Proper Mounting: On the handlebars or cables, facing straight forward with numbers clearly visible. Not Allowed: Wrapping it around the head tube, stuffing it in a pocket or bar bag, or mounting it sideways on your frame/fork. The Penalty: An improperly mounted plate will cost you the greater of 5 minutes per 100 miles (5-minute minimum for shorter routes) OR however long it takes us to chase you down and manually identify you. Equipment & Drafting: Aero Bars: Comfort/aero/gravel bars are permitted for all riders. (Since everyone has the option to use them, the aero benefit more than offsets our strict number plate rules!) Drafting: Permitted. However, no pack/group riding outside of what is explicitly allowed by the Texas Transportation Code. E-Bikes: Permitted but will not be timed. We kindly ask that e-bike riders to not lead bridging efforts for acoustic/traditional riders. The registration fees cover a trial membership for non members on event day. The Legendary Lights 5K - 10K - Kids Run is back for its second year and is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. And for 2026 we have added a new 10K race! The Historic Clifton Mill displays over 4 million lights illuminating the mill, the gorge, the riverbanks, trees and bridges. The courses begin at the Clifton Shelter House and heads north on Clay Street out into the countryside on Tanyard Road, turning around and finishing back at the Shelter House. The 5k race and 1mile fun run/walk will be held at Victor Ashe Park by the light of the Moon. Head lamps, flashlights, glow sticks and night time running gear is encouraged. Let's light up the greenways! Packet Pickup will begin Sunday, December 6th at 4:30pm at the Victor Ashe pavilion and the race will start at 5:30pm. The courses start and finish at the Victor Ashe Pavilion. The 5k race course is an out and back on the greenway, running along the frisbee golf course, connecting to the cross walk to the Northwest Middle School Greenway, looping around the lower loop and coming back. Finish Line is in front of the pavilion. The 1 mile course goes almost completely around the Victor Ashe Soccer Fields and then turns around and comes back to the start finish line area in front of the pavilion. Anyone registering after November 8, 2026 will receive shirts while supplies last. The shirt order will be placed on November 9 and when the shirts run out in the RunSignUp system, there will be no more shirts. 5K Race Award Divisions are planned for Ages 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & up.

Come out for our 2nd annual 2026 Resler Trail Race & Family Walk at Wakeem/Teschner Nature Preserve at Resler Canyon, a beloved 91- acre protected space owned outright by The Frontera Land Alliance. For the 2nd time, we're hosting a Trail Race and Family walk to bring together runners, walkers, families, and nature lovers for a morning of fun, and connection to the land. The goal of this event is to educate our community about the importance of preserving the land, show you the beautiful trails, and invite you to join us on other adventures we, The Frontera Land Alliance, host throughout the year. This year, we remember Charlie Wakeem, who passed away in May. Charlie was a key founder of Frontera, and his hard work was instrumental in protecting the Wakeem-Teschner Nature Preserve at Resler Canyon. Charlie spent his time after retirement advocating open spaces in El Paso as he loved its natural beauty; especially its sunsets.
