Winter 2026/2027 Adult Run + Strength Training in Cary is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs. The class is 12 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults get/stay active with run workouts incorporating strength training. This class is great for beginners as well as seasoned runners. All levels and paces are welcome! The class will include a detailed daily plan over the 12 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, suggested cross-training & strength training workouts, and Saturday group long runs. Cost of the class is: $75 if you register by 11/29. Price increases to: $80 if you register 11/30 - 12/20. Deadline to register is: 12/20. No refund or class credit if you drop the class after registering. If you have financial difficulty in affording a training class, please contact us. We have a donation program that can help out. Our annual Holiday Lights Run, sponsored by Union Fitness and co-hosted with Dancing Gnome Running Club, is on Thursday, December 10th! Then, join the group for a 2, 4, or 6 mile route to view Pittsburgh’s holiday light displays. This year, we are proud to announce the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank as our charity partner. Every day, thousands of our neighbors struggle to get enough food. The Food Bank ensures that everyone has access to nutritious meals and works to address the long-term challenges tied to food insecurity. We’re also excited to share two partnerships this year.
