The 10th annual Hanukkah Hot Cocoa Run is a timed 5k and 1 mile race with a free 1k untimed run for all ages and abilities. The run stars and ends at the Tucson JCC in the Jill Rosenzweig Memorial Sculpture Garden with an out and back course on the Rillito River Path. Rocky Mountain Road Runners (RMRR) holds a monthly Trophy Series race in the Denver area. Our December race will be in Denver's Washington Park with a 4.5 mile course for all runners.  Please plan to arrive 30-45 minutes before race start to get your bib and complete registration. The Trophy Series races use a handicap system of staggered starts, from slow to fast, spread over ~25 minutes. This gives everyone a chance to win. This is a fast course that starts in Pueblo's City Park then you quickly drop down to the scenic river trail, where you will be encompassed with nonstop gorgeous terrain and scenery. You will hit some dirt trails as you head west to our Nature Center and then swoop around the corner to an open field where deer are usually always in sight. Welcome to the 63rd annual Frostbite Festival! This year's Frostbite Festival takes place on Sunday, December 6, 2026. There are two options for these out-and-back races: a 2 mile and a 10 mile race. All race finishers will receive a medal. AMF Springfield Lanes will host this year's Frostbite Festival. We are planning on the same race course, with the same roller coaster hills we know and love, with the same start and finish line. Guaranteed shirt deadline is November 3, 2026. No extra shirts will be ordered. You must register and select a size before the shirt deadline. If you selected Shirt Only, you are not registered for the race but must pick up your shirt during packet pickup. There is no shipping option for Shirt Only. Race registration will be open until 8:45am on race day. Race day packet pick up and registration will close at 8:45am on December 6, 2026. Registration is only through RunSignUp. No cash or checks accepted. No transfers or sales between persons are permitted. IN-PERSON INSTRUCTIONS In-person race day details are still being finalized and will follow all local and state regulations and recommendations on race day. Participants will receive an email with packet pick up and race day instructions before the race. If you do not start the in-person race, you will automatically be transferred to the virtual race following the in-person event. VIRTUAL INSTRUCTIONS You will be able to participate in the Frostbite Festival on your own time and on your own course. You choose the location and if you would like to run or walk. You do not have to run the race course. If you do choose to run the race course, please use extreme caution as that area can be heavily traveled by cars moving very fast. There will not be any course support, markings, or course marshals directing traffic. Also, please obey all parking signage and do not park in the Fit Club parking lot. Submitting Your Result Beginning December 6, 2026 after the in person race you will be able to submit your time. To submit your virtual time, click on the link that will be emailed to virtual participants. By your name, click EDIT TIME. You can submit results for one week, until December 13, 2026. There are no age group awards for the virtual event; however, your finish time must be entered to verify your participation, especially for Springfield Road Runners Club members who are participating in the Abe’s 50K Throwdown. PACKET PICKUP Packet pickup will be held on Saturday afternoon before race day. More specific packet pickup instructions will be provided closer to race day. Jingle Bell Jog 5K Run/Walk for Alzheimer’s December 6 | 2:30 PM | Stanford, Kentucky The Jingle Bell Jog 5K Run/Walk for Alzheimer’s returns for another year of holiday fun with a very important purpose. Participants will enjoy a festive run or walk through the streets of Stanford with plenty of surprises along the way. Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Race-day registration and packet pickup will open at 1:00 PM at: Stanford Baptist Church – Christian Life Center (CLC) 204 Church St. Stanford, Kentucky Please note that the church asks participants not to park in the church parking area before 12:30 PM. Overflow parking is available in nearby lots. Race Start The race will begin at 2:30 PM on Main Street. Please allow yourself plenty of time to pick up your packet, use the restroom, and make your way to the start line before the race begins. Restrooms Restrooms will be available: Inside the Christian Life Center In porta-potties outside the CLC On Main Street beside the CASA office near the start line Presents on the Course One of the traditions that makes the Jingle Bell Jog special is the chance to pick up a present during the race! There will be three present locations along the course. Participants may choose a present at any one of these locations. Please take only one present so that every participant has an opportunity to receive a gift. Keep your present wrapped until you cross the finish line. Be sure to open the box after you finish, because the gift inside may be different from what the box suggests! And don’t worry — we promise there’s no Velveeta cheese out there! Course Treats & Water Around the halfway point, participants will have the opportunity to grab a cookie and/or candy cane. There will also be three water stations located along the course. Awards Awards will be presented at the Christian Life Center after the final participant finishes.
