WHAT The 15th Annual Jingle Jog 5K walk-run is a fundraising event to benefit the Ford Elementary School Foundation. The Ford Elementary School Foundation (FESF) established in 2005, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing enhanced educational opportunities that otherwise would not be a part of the Ford Elementary School instructional program. These additional educational opportunities can only be funded through Foundation efforts, and not through the Cobb County Board of Education or our PTA. For more information about the FESF go to https://fordesfoundation.com/ EVENT DETAILS The 5K will be on Saturday, December 5th and begin and end in the Bus Port at Ford Elementary School (1345 Mars Hill Rd. Acworth, GA 30101). The race will kick off with a Kids Reindeer Dash at 7:45am followed by the timed 5K beginning at 8:00 am. COURSE The course is an out and back loop with rolling hills - exiting the Ford Elementary Bus Port, turn right on Mars Hill Rd., turn right on Fords Rd. with turnaround at County Line Road. AWARDS Awards will be given the for top 2 finishers of each age category for Male & Female. We will also award the top overall Male & Female winners of the race. The age categories are Kindergarten-5th grade, Middle School, High School, Adult 18+. T-SHIRTS T-shirts are guaranteed to all registrations received prior to November 20th. PARKING There will be parking at Ford Elementary School - in the school lots as well as along the car line lanes entering and exiting the school. WEATHER The race will happen rain or shine. While we understand schedules change and things come up, we have a strict no-refund and transfer policy. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to extreme conditions such as weather. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of the race cancellation due to “Acts of God" or things outside of the control of the Race Director. The United Way of Rhea County Jingle Bell Run is a festive, family-friendly way to kick off the holiday season while supporting local families! The race begins and ends at the United Way of Rhea County office, 224 4th Avenue, Dayton, TN, with a start time of 8:30 AM. Street parking is available throughout the surrounding area, and restrooms will be available inside the United Way office. Participants can choose the 5K race ($35) or the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk ($20). RTRU takes place on December 5th, 2026 Run the River Ultra is Richmond’s first point-to-point Ultra Marathon. The route travels west on the Virginia Capital Trail, finishing in Richmond, VA at mile marker 51.7. Runners have the option to choose from 3 distances: Half Marathon 50K 51.7 Mile Spots are very limited, registration will be capped at around 25 participants. Jingle Jog is a fun run event to support Mountain Tots in raising money to build a new preschool facility. The event will include a Kid's Fun Run and 5K route options for participants. Starting in historic downtown, Jingle Jog will officially kick off the Christmas on Broadway festivities. Costumes are encouraged and we will have some swag on hand to help participants get into the holiday spirit. After the race has ended we'll award prizes to our top finishers, and raffle off some amazing goodies from our sponsors!

Lace up for a little holiday cheer and a whole lot of good! The Sneakers 4 Santa 5K brings the community together at Reynolds Lodge at Lake Shawnee to support Sole Reason’s mission of providing new shoes to children in need. The race route heads north from the lodge, following a path along the scenic lake. Since 2016, Sole Reason has provided more than 11,000 pairs of shoes to youth in Topeka and Shawnee County, helping children enjoy school, play, and everyday activities with comfort and confidence. This is a great way to celebrate the holiday season by adding joy and smiles for your youngest neighbors. Come dressed in your favorite holiday attire! Enjoy a costume contest, a coloring contest for kids, a bake sale, and activities throughout the day. Be sure to get your picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Claus! Runners who register by October 21 will be entered into a drawing for free Kansas City Chiefs tickets! Come join us for your "LAST CHANCE" long run of the year! This race will be hosted on the Sit Stay Dog Watching property. The trail is up to a mile long - dirt, gravel, and grass. There will be an indoor aid station that will be heated and available to runners. We will have outdoor porta potties near the aid station. There is no entry fee - we do ask that runners please donate $5 - $10 on race day to help pay for food, medals, and the bathrooms. This is an optional donation and is not required to participate. We will have a "winner takes all" money pot for any runners that would like to participate. The runner with the most miles at the end of the 24 hours will take home the cash money pot! Each runner will earn a custom wood medal, and a custom wood buckle is available for any runners to hit 100 miles. Parking is limited, so spots for the race are too! Along the course, runners will encounter That Green Guy Grab Stations where they’ll have to take a detour, find a special Christmas-themed item and bring it back with them before continuing the race. Your mission is simple: But there’s a catch... you need them ALL! Each participant will receive a That Green Guy Grab bag and a list of the items they need to collect. As you race through the course, you'll take offshoots to find the treasures scattered along the way.
