The Daniel Barden Mudfest was created in memory of Daniel Barden, one of the first-grade students whose life was taken during the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in December 2012. The event was founded by family members whose niece was inside the school that day. While she escaped unharmed, she lost her dear friend Daniel. In the face of unimaginable loss, Mudfest was born as a way to honor Daniel’s life and carry forward the values he embodied. Daniel is remembered as a kind and gentle child who treated everyone with respect and joy. He had a zest for life and loved the outdoors, sports, and getting muddy. Those simple joys are at the heart of Mudfest. You're invited to be a part of the biggest community event in Manassas Park!   The Cougar Literacy Run is a community 5k and kids' fun run (for Manassas Park students) to promote literacy and wellness for our students. The day of the event includes family friendly activities and a Community Expo. Prior to race day, students at our PreK-5 buildings take part in a reading challenge. Once achieved, students receive a free t-shirt and bookmark. Proceeds from the event go to purchasing print and digital resources and experiences to enhance literacy and integrate mathematics, science, and social studies learning at our K-5 campuses. The Utica Roadrunners are happy to announce the return of The Grateful For Graham 5K Run/Walk! Graham Robertello is a 6 year old boy who was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) - a rare genetic disorder where the body is unable to produce a critical protein that binds the layers of skin together. This results in the skin tearing, blistering, and even shearing off. The wounds that result are severely painful, can lead to disfigurement, and some (they can also be internal) may never heal. There is no cure for EB at this time, but with everyone's support in the past 5 years, we finally have the first THREE FDA approved treatments for the effects of EB! A cure is in sight... Join us in the fight to find a cure for EB once and for all! All proceeds raised will go directly to the EB Research Partnership to help find a cure and additional treatments for EB! The event will be a 5K "out and back" run and walk. The course is a fairly flat course along the Rayhill Memorial (Rt. 840)

We walk to raise awareness about the impact of breast and cervical cancer upon all Long Island women.  We also walk to help overcome issues and circumstances that are barriers to early detection of these cancers among African American women. Staged out of beautiful Smith Mountain Lake State Park this triathlon classic has clear water, mountain views and fun courses. The swim features a sandy beach start and a crisp, clear lake. The bike and run courses are rolling, but not too challenging. This is a great race if you are just starting out in the sport, or have been racing for 20 years. Smith Mountain Lake is home to numerous lodging options and attractions. There is great trail running in the park and the Blue Ridge Parkway isn’t too far away if you want to stay the night and ride again on Sunday. The Van Cortlandt Park 50k Founded in 2023 this ultramarathon is designed for a novice to be able to safely complete while also remaining challenging for experienced runners to be able to enjoy a fast time testing their endurance. The course is ten loops of the classic cross country course after an initial lap of the flats. There are rocks and roots but they’re not plentiful. Overall elevation is about 2200ft The aid station will be fully stocked with water and gatorade, salty and sweet snacks, fruits and more.You’ll also have easy access to any drop bag you want with your personal items/hydration/nutrition no longer than 1.5 miles away at the furthest point. 3rd Annual St. Paul's Spring Sprint in Wonewoc, WI. A The race will start and end at St. Paul's Lutheran School this year . There will be a one mile kids run with a hidden golden egg as well as other fun spring objects to find along the path. This will be followed by a 5k run/walk and 10k run. The Batesville Day 10K Race began in 1979 and winds through beautiful Virginia hills and orchards on paved roads. Awards are given to the top finishers. Join us Saturday, May 2, 2026 in Tieton for the fifth Never Say Never!!! This race is all about YOU! Every decision we make has YOU in mind. This is a race designed for everyone from first timers to seasoned racers to all of those in-between. It is a picturesque course with one sizable hill around mile 2 followed by flat road for the rest of the 10K and rolling hills for the remainder of the Half Marathon.   There will be NINE water stations this year. There are six bathroom opportunities, and lots of fans cheering you on along the way.  We are again partnering with BOX, a nonprofit organization founded by women, dedicated to building connections that support women and girls. The Norwegian Foot March is a historic test of military marching endurance being held since 1915. The objective being to move large numbers of soldiers quickly over long distances and remain combat-ready. Fairchild AFB and the Base Honor Guard are giving military members, retiree's and civilians with base access, an opportunity to test themselves and earn the Foot March badge and certificate.  The course is a 18.64 miles and contestants are required to carry a pack containing 24.25 pounds. Weighted vests or plate carriers are not authorized for official weight, contestants must use a pack. Additionally all military contestants must wear their services combat uniform and boots. Civilians and retiree's are required to wear a uniform similar to a military combat uniform, including long pants and boots. Time cut off's/ requirements can be found bellow. The Community School of Davidson (CSD) Spartan 5K is held In conjunction with the Davidson Town Day Celebration. CSD is sponsoring the 18th Annual 5K May 2nd, 2026 to benefit the school’s Athletic Department. 100% of the proceeds go to benefit the student athletes at the Community School of Davidson.

The purpose of the Run For Holland 5K and 10K is to raise awareness in our community about Down Syndrome and other disabilities. Specifically, to raise awareness for parents who have had or are having a child born with a physical or mental disability. We want to show these parents that having a child with Down Syndrome or any other disability is not the end of the world, it is the beginning of a wonderfully different, more fulfilling world.

The annual 5K run/1 mile walk benefits Stop the Suffering, a 501 (c)(3) based in Columbus, Ohio that saves animals from shelters and other situations in which their lives might be at risk. STS adopts out about 500 dogs a year, transports around 4,000 cats and dogs from rural shelters and puppy mills, to rescue organizations. STS also sponsors the vet care, boarding expenses and other costs when needed to help save an animal's life. Additionally, STS has a program that helps with many local municipalities spay and neuter programs in order to help control the pet population.   This is a rain or shine event. In the instance of severe weather it would be up to the race director to call it for the safety of all participants, volunteers, and vendors.

The Hull Prairie Intermediate and Perrysburg Junior High Bands present our 13th annual "Band on the Run" 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. This year will be a little different. We are going to be having a Glow Run! You do NOT want to miss this amazing event. Band on the Run is a 5K Run/Walk. Even if you are not a runner, you are encouraged to come and help support the HPI and PJHS Bands.
