DSP's Dash for Cancer Awareness

Delta Sigma Pi is hosting a cancer awareness 5k on May 2nd. This event is especially meaningful to us as one of our brothers recently fought and beat stage 4 testicular germ cell cancer. Seeing someone so close to us go through this has inspired us to take action to support young adults in similar situations. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Dear Jack Foundation. We will be hosting both a 5k run and a 5k walk at Tyson Park. The runners will start at 10:00 AM EST, and the walkers will follow at 11:00 AM EST. The Office 5K

The Office 5K is a road race in Scranton, PA that passes sites featured on NBC’s “The Office.” Participants can dress up as their favorite Office character for fun and prizes. Walkers can enjoy a modified 1 mile course with special activities along the way. The race begins at 1pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 523 Linden Street in Scranton, in front of Backyard Ale House. Participants can pick up their race bibs, tee shirts, and race info at Cooper’s Seafood House (701 N. Washington Avenue) on May 1 from 5-7pm. (These items are also available day of the race.) 70th Annual Beaufort Water Festival 5k-10K

The 70th Annual Beaufort Water Festival welcomes you to the festival’s fourth event of the year, the 5k/10k on Saturday, May 2nd 2026. The 5K/10K race will start at 8:00 AM in the beautiful town of Port Royal at the Live Oaks Park. This wonderful flat course takes you along the moss-draped giant live oaks with beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway.  The course is USATF Certified #SC18011DW     The 5k is a run or walk for $25.00 and the 10k is a run only for $30.00. Walk-up registration will be available the day of the race for $25.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the 10K. Participants pre-registered by April 22, 2026 will receive a 70th Annual Beaufort Water Festival 5K/10K t-shirt.  Registration after April 22, 2026 and walk-up registration does not include a t-shirt. And they’re off! The Wixom Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will host the 10th annual Derby Day races on Saturday, May 2nd at Sibley Square Park located in the heart of downtown Wixom. The 2026 Derby Day races will celebrate its 10 years and utilize 5K and 10K routes that takes participants along the Michigan Airline Trail, which is part of the Great Lake to Lake Trial. Our 5th annual, fun, local, hometown 5k race to help "Raise the Bar" for all Springport running athletes. This event will be run entirely in the town of Springport around a 2 lap road and trail course. This change will help make less foot traffic on sidewalk on M-99 in front of the tavern and hopefully give us some more room. Our event is still GROWING!!! National Crime Victims' Rights Hero 5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Walk
