Join us for the annual Ride to the Sky, starting from the beautiful campus of John A. Logan College in Carterville, IL. Whether you are a seasoned climber or a weekend warrior, this event offers a distance for everyone through the rolling hills and scenic vistas of Southern Illinois. For 2026, funds from this event will be donated to The Boys and Girls Club of Southern Illinois. This year, there are 3 route options - 12 miles, 30 miles, and 54 miles.  All courses will have aid stations with food and drinks.  Lunch will be served for all participants post-ride. Registration closes on 5/2/2026 at 9:00 a.m. when the ride begins. The start will have a lead-out and courses will be marked.  All riders must be registered online and check-in on day of ride to receive an arm band that must be displayed at all times during the ride. Riders must obey all laws including Illinois rules of the road. Helmets are required. No headphones.

This will be our third Annual Soggy Bottoms Backyard Ultra, a day to test yourself on a farmland trail loop with scenic views, rolling hills, and South Mountain in the distance. The challenge is to see how many loops you can accomplish within an allotted time. You can run, ruck, or walk the full event or tackle just half the day. We want this to be a fun day for people of all ages, promoting fitness for the whole family so bring your grandparents, spouses, and kids to enjoy the fresh air. Back by popular demand! Union Academy High School Student Council and the Varsity Cross Country team are partnering up with the UA Foundation to put on UA’s first ever Cardinal Color Run. Our color run is a 5-kilometer race where participants are covered in colored powder while running, walking, or jogging. Program participants who are in grades 4 through 6 are invited to Indianapolis to finish their final 3.1 miles in their own wave of the Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K on Saturday, May 2, 2026! Groups can experience the KidsFit Final 5K, which occurs the morning of the IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. We cordially invite you to participate in the 7th annual, The Katie Bunch Memorial 5k Run/Walk in Asheboro, North Carolina. This event’s purpose is to raise money to go toward The Katie Bunch Servant Leader Scholarship at Asheboro High School. Katie Bunch was an incredible teacher at Asheboro High School where she taught History. She made a huge impact on not only her peers, but especially her students. Her impact still shines throughout the halls of AHS. The Katie Bunch Servant Leader Scholarship awards two students annually that show significant qualities of a Servant Leader within Asheboro High School, as well as the community.

Both the 5k and 1 Mile course will run on courses through the Strong Avenue neighborhood, beginning and ending at Mary Daly Elementary School. Roots & Routes 5K at the Mills is a trail race starting at the Rocky Mount Mills to raise money for Ripe For Revival. Ripe For Revival is a 501(C)3 non-profit located in Rocky Mount NC. Our mission is to Revive Communities through Food by bridging the gap between farm excess and food access. The Samurai Sprint 5K and Dojo Dash Fun Run is a fundraiser held by Budokan Newton Martial Arts and Sensei's Samurai. We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Samurai Sprint 5K and Dojo Dash Fun Run for charity. We are excited to be hosting this event, again, in Downtown Newton. All proceeds from this event go to fund the newly created William Alden Elliott Memorial Scholarship, in honor of Alden Elliott, who was killed in the line of duty on April 29, 2024. Alden Elliott was a graduate of Newton-Conover High School and a United States Marine. He worked for NC Department of Adult Correction with the Special Operations and Intelligence Unit.  Alden was a Task Force Officer with the U.S. Marshals Service, Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force. He was tragically killed in the line of duty on April 29, 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina while attempting to serve a felony warrant.  Alden wholeheartedly supported his son Theo's involvement in martial arts here at Budokan Newton.  Ou

The "Miles Cupcake 5k and Fun Run" is named after Shane Miles, former GO FAR Coach and ultra runner with a true love for people and running!  Shane helped coach when the program had just begun on the Outer Banks and continued to volunteer over the years.  His passion for running was contagious and inspiring, his dedication and determination were unwavering. OBX GO FAR is proud to name its Miles College Education Fund in honor of Shane Miles. The proceeds from this event will go to OBX GO FAR a non-profit children’s running program designed to build healthier, happier children and families.  Your registration will help fund the Miles College Education Fund, provide scholarships for children who cannot meet registration fees in the GO FAR Children's program as well as help us cover the essential costs of our program. The Iowa Trail Run Series is not about spending a bunch of cash for no reason. Just 1 hour from Chicago's Loop enjoy riding flat & lightly rolling country gravel roads.  Ride through farmlands as farmers make their final preparations for planting season.  The event will start & finish on a cinder track in Waterman, IL with a finish chute like none other in gravel.  Our event is unique in many ways.- Prior to the ride there is Pancakes & Coffee free to all riders (6:30am-8:00am)- Choose your distance on the fly. Event Overview The 3rd Annual Cindy Horsmon Memorial Fun Run for Hospice is set to take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Horsmon Farm in St. Leonard. The event honors the life of Cindy Greene Horsmon, a beloved retired educator and community member who passed away in 2025 at age 59 following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Cindy Horsmon dedicated 30 years to Calvert County Public Schools and was deeply loved by students, colleagues and the community. Her strength, kindness and commitment to others continue to inspire those honoring her legacy through this annual event.
