The Mattapoisett Santa Stampede 5K for MS will host hundreds of “Santas” wearing complimentary 5 piece Santa suits, from the red coat and hat, right down to the beard! In a 3.1 mile loop around scenic Ned's Point Lighthouse and along the picturesque harbor of Mattapoisett. This festive run/walk is sure to bring out the holiday spirit for all participants and spectators. The event will take place at 9:00am on Saturday December 5th, beginning and ending at the Mattapoisett Town Wharf. This community event will help support individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis along with foundations that provide research towards a cure. This year’s race date will also mark the 2 year anniversary of our race director being diagnosed with MS. There are two options for Santa Suit sizing. Option 1: Adult (one size fits all) Option 2: Youth (Suggested for children 12 and under who are less than 5 feet tall) These will be provided to the first 500 adult (one size fits all) registrations, and the first 200 youth (suggested for children) registrations. It is important you select the proper Santa suit option size at checkout! This cannot be changed once you have registered. *This registration page will be updated once the above numbers of suits are met. As of now, there are still Santa Suits available to all. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female adult finishers along with the top 3 male and female youth finishers.

Join us as we take to the small town streets of Bellaire to bring some Jolly Joy. This event is a run/walk event that will be officially timed with finisher medals and participant t-shirts. The event begins at 10:00 am by the Village Hall on Broad St. All proceeds will benefit the Bellaire Public Schools Cross Country Program. Pleasant, we will have a 5k run/walk or a 5 mile run and we are adding a 1 mile kids run this year. All finishers will receive a custom finishers medal. You have the option to purchase a custom hooded sweatshirt for an additional cost until 11/14/25 after that shirts will not be available for purchase. RACE PLAN AND FAQ Packet pickup will be available Friday 12/4 from 4-6pm at the Runners Athletic store in Mt. Pleasant located at 4459 E. Blue Grass Rd. Mt. Pleasant, MI. Check-in area: There will be no on-site registration. We ask for registration to be done online via Run Signup. There will be no race day sign ups. When you arrive please park, and pick up your packet (race bib, safety pins, and swag) and proceed back to your vehicle. Race number and chip: Your packet will contain your race number with the chip on the back, please wear your bib on the front of your shirt. Do not tamper with the bib or remove the chip. You will need to wear the race bib in order for your run/walk to be timed. If you do not wear the bib you will not be in the results. Finish line: Once you have finished the race you will receive a custom finisher medal. Course: The 5k course will consist of running on city sidewalks and streets, the 5 mile route is the same as the 5k except it turns into the city parks for a short couple of miles. Both routes will both start (and finish) at Kamper Park (107 S 17th Avenue in Hattiesburg), at 9:00 a.m. This family friendly event is for both walkers and runners. Our participant will walk/run through the streets of The Avenues and finish back at Kamper Park. There will be plenty of race day volunteers on the course and possibly a sighting of Santa. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. Join us for the fourth annual Remember the Removal Walk, Ride, and Bike along the original Trail of Tears northern route, east of Steelville, Missouri. All donations will benefit the establishment of the planned monument.. The Cherokee people's forced relocation in 1838 via the “Trail of Tears” is an acknowledged tragedy in U.S. history. The Trail of Tears, was a terrible and sorrowful journey, one that the Cherokee people still work to overcome. During this relocation process, 10 Cherokee detachments were forced to make the passage through Steelville, Missouri. Those detachments camped on the H. E. Davis Farm. The location is now the Steelville Community Park. For the 5-mile walk, participants should meet at the Steelville Community Park. The start time is 12:30 p.m. Check-in and on-site registration begins at 11 a.m. Shuttles will be available to transport participants to the starting location on Long Spring Road. The walk will end at the Steelville Community Park. The 13-mile trail ride starts at Brickey’s Slab, 17 Huzzah Creek Rd, Steelville, MO 65565 and ends at the Steelville Community Park. Check-in and on-site registration begins at 11 a.m. Start time is noon. The 30-mile Bike Ride starts and ends at the Steelville Community Park. Most of the ride is on gravel roads. Start time 10 A.M. Check-in and on-site registration begins at 9 a.m The ride route can be viewed on strava.com.. Registration is $35.00 for each participant 16 and older and $20 for youth ages 10 to 15 before Nov. 15, 2023. After November 15, adult registration is $40 and youth is $25 with no guarantee to receive a T-shirt. Children younger than 10 can participate for free and do not need to register but they will not receive a T-shirt. This year we are adding a virtual component. On Monday June 23rd 2008, Greg gave his life serving his country during combat operations in Salman Pak, Iraq. Always with a smile on his face, Greg touched the lives of others through his everyday actions and genuine kindness. Whether with family, friends, or co-workers, Greg always found a way to make people feel special and important. Greg has always been a hero to his family, demonstrating how others are supposed to be treated and how to love unconditionally. Proceeds from this event are used for scholarships in Seton Hall University’s School of Diplomacy, and for a donation to The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Course Description The course will use existing fire roads, single track trail, hills and some pavement at South Mountain Reservation. The course is designed to be a mix of everything. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can I run with iPod/headphones? Yes. USATF, the national governing body of the sport, recently amended its ban on headphones, iPods, and similar devices. However, athletes competing for prize money are not allowed to use electronic devices such as headphones and earpieces. Can I run with my GPS device? Yes, participants may wear their GPS devices. However, these items do not count as “second timing devices" and will not be recognized by the event as official times or distances. What is NOT allowed on the course? The use of video devices, cell phones, computers, cameras, or any similar devices by participants in the event is prohibited. The use of wheeled devices by participants or any other person authorized to be on the course shall be strictly limited to: (a) authorized course marshals on bicycles. Skateboards, rollerblades, unauthorized bicycles, or any unauthorized wheeled device will not be permitted. Note: Strollers and wheelchairs will also be permitted. Strollers/Baby Joggers must start at the back of runners/walkers. ALL participants must be able to complete the course in 1:40:00 (Hour and Forty Minutes) due our traffic control permit. Do you have a Lost & Found in case I lose something at the Event or on the racecourse? Yes. We will have a Lost & Found for items that were lost and found on race day. The Monticello Teachers’ Association is proud to present the 12th Annual Tinsel Trot 5k Fun Run! Remember to dress as your favorite holiday character! Your support will provide scholarships for Monticello students as well as benefit local charity! For the past 11 years, the Tinsel Trot has raised money to support local charities and deserving Monticello High School students in their academic endeavors. Please help us continue this festive occasion! The race begins at the stop sign between Dutch's Tavern and the Rock Hill Trading Post. Participants make a left onto Lake Louise Marie Road and then a right onto North Emerald. The race continues on North Emerald until reaching a turnaround just before Old Sackett Road. Runners then continue back to the start of the race and finish at the end of Lake Louise Marie Road.

This is a brand new event from Stubborn Donkey Running! We are excited to team up with the city of Weldon & Weldon Mills Distillery to bring you a well crafted 24 hour event this December! Come celebrate the end of Prohibition, decide your proof, and how you’ll age on the trail! This is your chance to put your Stubborn Spirit on display while running on the historic Roanoke Canal Trail! All distances will get a medal, 100 mile runners will earn a specially crafted buckle. The course consists of a flat 4.2 mile out and back with mixed terrain that is primarily dirt path. The loop will begin and end in the River Falls Park where there will be ample space for runners to set up their tents along the course with adjacent parking and portajohns on site. You will need a light source for the nighttime miles. We will have a killer aid station (we know this is an eating festival plagued by running), music and chip timing! The race occurs in front of the Weldon Mills Distillery and runners and crew are able to pop in and enjoy a beverage as they truck along while the business is open for operation!
