Camp to Belong Maine is proud to announce the 7th Annual Camp to Belong Maine 5K! On Saturday, May 2nd, 2025, the Shipshewana Mayfest Road Run will be taking place as part of Shipshewana's Annual Mayfest celebration.  The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels. We will kick things off at 8:15 a.m. with the 1 Mile Fun Run. The race will begin near 345 North Morton Street at the Wolfe Building. The fun run will be run on the newly paved North Street.  It will be a straight out and back run for the kids.  The kids will finish close to where they started. Medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls. At 8:30 am, the 5K Shipshewana Road Run begins. Kids on the Run and the Kids Marathon are non-competitive running events for children and young people age 17 and younger.  Participants can choose from these four distances based on their age and ability: The event will feature 100m Toddler Trot, Half-Mile, One-Mile and 2K Kids Marathon events.  All events take place on the paved trails of Bohrer Park in the City of Gaithersburg. Participants do not run on roads. There is a ‘rabbit’ runner who will lead the participants in each event. There is also a ‘sweeper’ who follows behind for each event insuring everyone makes it back to the finish line. There are multiple opportunities to see and cheer for the youth runners! The Salisbury Zoo's annual Zoo Stampede 5K, sponsored by Vernon Powell Shoes, is set for Saturday, May 2nd, at 9 a.m. The race kicks off from the Salisbury Zoo's East Gate (across from the Elks Golf Club). The race will go through the Zoo and along the Salisbury City Park's greenway.  The course is primarily along a crushed-stone path. This year's event is themed for the Monarch Butterfly in celebration of our involvement with the Monarch SAFE program (Saving Animals From Extinction). A community FUN RUN 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk inspired by Blaine Chandler’s light and love for others at Sundale School in Tulare. “Blaine was the heart of his family — full of light, music, faith, and service. He loved helping others, dreamed big, and lived with joy beyond his years. Blaine lived with joy and purpose beyond his years, teaching everyone around him to love big and keep smiling. Though our hearts ache, we are committed to honoring his legacy by continuing to serve and strengthen our community in his name,” -Blaine’s sister, Addyson. This race is being run for every family navigating grief, hope, and the importance of children’s mental health. Your support will help fund Blaine’s Corral at Sundale Elementary and raise awareness for children’s mental health initiatives in our community. Steel Dynamics Inc presents a Springtime Gravel race with fabulous views of well-known attractions like Garbage Mountain (the local dump) both out and inbound, ride by many pork and turkey farms, and over Numerous train tracks in this Lil more than a Metric long course. There will also be a medium-length course that cuts off the final loop at the Sag stop.  This will be an all-weather event (barring serious weather) so dress accordingly.  The course is a mix of chunky gravel, dirt roads, a bit of pavement, a few hills, and probably lots of mud.  There will be timing/placing for the top 3 in each class, course marshals, and signs to mark the route.  GPS devices ARE advised and course route files are available on RideWithGPS.  You will find yourself in the middle of Nowhere, Indiana.  Often. Welcome to the registration page for the Wood Acres JogFest! JogFest is a rain or shine event!  Please come out to support Wood Acres Elementary with your friends and neighbors. Participants can choose the 5K Race, One Mile Race or 1/4 Mile Fun Run.  Please check out the map for the official 5K course, which starts and finishes at the Wood Acres Local Park (5850 Wynnwood Road) and goes through the Wood Acres neighborhood of Bethesda, MD, through rolling hills on quiet neighborhood streets. The 2026 Get Busy Livin' 5k will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 9:30 AM. The event will be held at Hutchinson Field in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Jardine Elementary is hosting a 5K walk/run through the neighborhood in honor and support of our Instructional Coach, Dr. Bridget Stegman. She was diagnosed with ALS, and proceeds for the event will go toward the ALS Association, Mid-America Chapter. In 4 years we have raised $19,850 from Steps for Stegman. The 5K will take participants through the neighborhood around Jardine Elementary. Parking is available in the West and South parking lots. The event will start on the East side of the building.   All registrants will receive an event T-shirt, if registration is completed by April 4th. The Hoag OC Marathon Running Festival includes four different runs during the first weekend in May annually. We will close off waves the moment they fill up. If waves are sold out, you can sign-up for the virtual run option or wait list. This is a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave. We are very excited to host our fourth annual "Bulfinch Bee Run" on May 2, 2026!  The name is inspired by the huge colony of bees that was discovered and rescued from our bell tower in 2011 during renovation. This will be a 5k community fun run/walk/roll (costumes highly encouraged!) in the neighborhood of Lancaster's historic Bulfinch Meetinghouse. It will conclude on the lawn with food, beer, prizes, live music and more! The proceeds this year will offset our costs for our Community programming and building maintenance. Celebrate National Drinking Water Week with WaterOne while supporting Water for People, a non-profit organization that provides clean, safe drinking water for those in countries who need it most. The race takes you from WaterOne's water tower, to the City of Olathe's water tower and back, for a 5K like no other! Sign up to help us make a big splash at this year's Frederick Running Festival. As in past years, we'll have a booth on Saturday at the packet-pickup expo and a tent in the infield on Sunday for our own post-race celebration. Both are a lot of fun!

Trail run along the historic Chisholm Trail. This 13.1 track takes you through rocky terrain and challenging red dirt hills. This year we are offering a team relay option to take on the 13.1 miles. As you register please check the box and sign up for your team. Minimum 2 and Max 4 participants per team. Come up with your team name and divide an conquer the trail.

Come out for a day of fun with our 5k family fun run and walk.  Meet Flip the frog, our mascot, and have a great morning with friends and family. Stay for the after party with fun music.  All proceeds go to Landon's Legacy which was started in memory of our son, Landon.  He had a big heart and we are keeping his love for others going by offering financial assistance to students enrolled in the Leavenworth USD 453 school district.   All participants will receive a Landon's Legacy "Be the Light" 5K t-shirt and finishers will receive a unique medal.  The race begins and ends at Cody Park where Landon grew up playing.  Parking is free and easily accessible.  There are also pickle ball and basketball courts if you want to keep the adventure going after the 5k. Register by April 10th to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

This unique race will take place completely within the Grafton Correctional secure perimeter. We will run a 3/4 mile loop for either a 5k or half marathon. We will be running with residents that are part of the Running2bwell training program that recently started at GCI and all proceeds will support Running2bwell. We recently bought $5000 worth of shoes for the men at GCI and we're hoping to raise that amount at the race. Runners will receive a custom t-shirt (sizes not guaranteed). Most importantly, you'll have the chance to run some miles with men that are working hard to improve their lives on their home court. Female runners are allowed but there is a strict dress code. Shirts must have sleeves, shorts must go mid-thigh, sweats should be worn to enter but can be taken off when running. No tight or form-fitting apparel. More rules may follow as I get them. Run/Walk will begin and end at Maize High School (11600 W. 45th St. N., Maize, KS 67101). Parking will be in the Maize High School parking lot. This year, as in the previous year, all activities will be outside only. This is a 3.1 mile event, beginning and ending at the football stadium.  This is an annual Memorial event, held in honor of two Maize High graduates that were killed by a drunk driver returning home from Colorado to Kansas over Spring break 2011.

The Gahanna American Legion Post 797 “Walk In Our Boots” Walk/Run fund raising event was first established in 2023 with the inaugural event held at Gahanna Veterans Memorial Park at Creekside. This event is a fundraiser to support once homeless local veterans so they become re-acclimated to a more normal, self-sustaining life with the help of our community. The Redbud Trail Challenge is a grueling Trail Hike/Run to benefit Ohio Wilderness Boys Camp (OWBC). Bring the whole family to participate and choose between a 5K or 10K trail course. It will take place on OWBC’s rugged 600 acre forested property located in the hills of Southeast Ohio. The Redbud Trail Challenge will do just that: challenge your will, mind, and body just to finish this course. But it will be worth every bit of energy and will-power you spend. The trail will go through 2 primitive campsites (the 5K will go through 1 campsite) which the boys built and where they reside. A few more unique features are crossing the 68′ span “Nehemiah” suspension bridge (which the boys built), the beautiful springtime forest lush with Redbud and Dogwood blossoms, and huge boulders along the trail. We are excited to announce The Getting Miles Athletic Club's first annual Fort Wayne Park Race Series. Participants aged 12 and under are eligible to compete in this race series.  The Derby Mile is a one mile loop of challenging dirt trails in Franke Park. Participants will start and finish at the HUB. The HUB is an outdoor recreation facility at the bottom of historic Derby Hill.   Make sure you arrive early to find a good parking spot, warm up, use the restrooms and pick up your race bib. Series participants need to return their race bibs to the packet pickup station in order to receive points for the race. You will use the same race bib for all the events.  Runners will receive the final race decal to put on their bibs at the finish line.  We are collecting non-perishable food items to help fill the local food lockers to help local families in need.The Getting Miles Athletic Club is a local organization whose goal is to provide a community for recreational athletes of all levels
