The Crotona 5K promises to be an exciting and challenging course for runners of all skill levels. The Van Cortlandt Park 50k Founded in 2023 this ultramarathon is designed for a novice to be able to safely complete while also remaining challenging for experienced runners to be able to enjoy a fast time testing their endurance. The course is ten loops of the classic cross country course after an initial lap of the flats. There are rocks and roots but they’re not plentiful. Witness Walk 2026 is the Twenty-second Annual walk of the Witness Project® of LI. We walk to raise awareness about the impact of breast and cervical cancer upon all Long Island women.  We also walk to help overcome issues and circumstances that are barriers to early detection of these cancers among African American women. The Utica Roadrunners are happy to announce the return of The Grateful For Graham 5K Run/Walk! Graham Robertello is a 6 year old boy who was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) - a rare genetic disorder where the body is unable to produce a critical protein that binds the layers of skin together. This results in the skin tearing, blistering, and even shearing off. The wounds that result are severely painful, can lead to disfigurement, and some (they can also be internal) may never heal. There is no cure for EB at this time, but with everyone's support in the past 5 years, we finally have the first THREE FDA approved treatments for the effects of EB! A cure is in sight... Join us in the fight to find a cure for EB once and for all! All proceeds raised will go directly to the EB Research Partnership to help find a cure and additional treatments for EB! The Daniel Barden Mudfest was created in memory of Daniel Barden, one of the first-grade students whose life was taken during the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in December 2012. The event was founded by family members whose niece was inside the school that day. While she escaped unharmed, she lost her dear friend Daniel. In the face of unimaginable loss, Mudfest was born as a way to honor Daniel’s life and carry forward the values he embodied. TEST YOURSELF This isn't your ordinary Ultra - this is a DENFIT Ultra. DENFIT will make its Buffalo debut at Buffalo Ski Center in Colden, NY.  The race will BEGIN AT MIDNIGHT with both 50k and 100k runners having the same start time. The course will be a 10k loop up and down the ski slopes.  The course will NOT be lit; there will be reflective flagging and lawn flags marking out the course as runners make their way through the dark. 100k runners will have 18 hours to complete the course, which will be 10 laps.50k runners will have 10 hours to complete 5 laps.  At the base of the ski hills will be a large tent with food, bathrooms and a place for gear so runners will be able to grab what they need before heading back out on course. Headlamps are mandatory, naturally and runners will be required to have them until 7am. (tbd if runners are allowed to bring their own tents, but there will be multiple tents at basecamp for runners to use) Expect the finisher medals to be no less than 7

This popular Sprint Triathlon is celebrating our 6th year in 2026.  Enjoy a safe and scenic race while enjoying the beauty of historic Defuniak Springs located in the Florida panhandle.  Our racers enjoy a 600 meter wet suit friendly swim in one of the world's two circular lakes, a 16 mile bike ride through the rolling hills of the Eucheeanna Valley and finish with a 5k flat run passing by the historic homes of Defuniak Springs. Enjoy pulled pork sandwiches after the race and Celebration Party at the Last Stop Beer Vault complete with a free beer! Race Benefits local non-profits.  We donated almost $6,000 to local non-profits last year.

Join us for the TopCity Half Marathon & 5K on May 2nd, 2026.  The Top City Half Marathon & 5k aims to be a premiere event that enhances the health, wellness and culture of Topeka.  The route takes you on the popular Shunga running trail, while also showcasing the neighborhoods of Kansas’ TopCity. Every participant receives a participant race T-Shirts, a finisher medal, participant bags filled with sponsorship goodies, and access to post race beverages from Chaos Coffee and Iron Rail Brewing (if over 21)! This is more than a race; this is a celebration of our amazing city!  Please note, to allow us to satisfy city permit requirements for street closures, half marathon participants must maintain a pace of 16 minutes per mile or faster.

The Blue Devil 5K offers something for everyone—walkers, joggers, and runners of all paces are welcome.  The Blue Devil 5K will be held rain or shine. However, the race director reserves the right to cancel the event if conditions are deemed unsafe. No refunds will be issued for any reason. EVENT PARKING:  All participants and spectators should use Parking Lot I for packet pickup and event parking. Parking Lot I is the large lot located off Delaware Street in front of the Campus Childcare Center (Little Leaders) and the Credit Union. There are ample parking spaces available, and this lot remains conveniently close to the Wellness & Fitness Center/Health Professions Building.  For the safety of our runners and walkers, please avoid Parking Lot H near the CEB Building. 🌅Run at Sunrise with pretty scenic views! Start your day — and your journey — with a breathtaking sunrise and fellow runners chasing greatness.   Overview:Run will sell-out QUICK! We will close off waves the moment they fill up. If waves are sold out, you can sign-up for the virtual run option or wait list. This is a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave. All paces and ages (under 18 with guardian) are welcome - Run or Walk!   There's no equipment or setup, this is a pure run with our coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting! When you sign-up, we give you the support you need to help you achieve your goals and fitness. We also invite you to be part of our local run clubs that supports your fitness journey.  Timing: - Timing is Optional: You may track your time on an app (Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, etc) and submit your times with our easy form to be posted online. The Beer Chase 5K has a New NAME and a New HOME!   Join us for the inaugural Beyond Vision Dash taking place on May 2 at our New Home Resurgence Brewing Company.  We are also excited to announce our NEW charity partner Visually Impaired Advancement (VIA).    A few new additions for this year in addition to our 5K.  We are also adding a Visually Impaired Division 5K, a Kids Mile and A Low Vision Stroll to give you even more fun on race day! Join us on May 2nd, 2026, to run and walk to support ALS Ride for Life.   A little about ALS Ride for Life: ALS Rid for Life was founded in 1997 by Christopher Pendergast (pALS). We are called "ALS Ride for Life" because our annual event held each May during ALS Awareness Month, take pALS in their power wheelchairs across Long Island to visit different schools. We raise funds for a cure, to help pALS, and to create awareness of this fatal disease.

The 47th annual Santa Fe Run Around will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The race starts and finishes at Villa Linda Park 4246 Rodeo Road   Parking: Public Parking Date: The race is Saturday, May 2 at 8:00 am and the Kids Fun Run will start about 9:00 am. On-line registration will end April 29 at 6 pm. Race day packet pick up and registration will be from 7:00 am to 7:45 am on Saturday, May 2.   Race Fees: 5K - $40 before April 4, $45 after April 5 to April 29, $50 April 30 and on Race Day ONLINE REGISTRATION closes on April 29 at 6 pm. This free event is to celebrate the health and wellbeing of Shawnee Mission School District staff and their family members.  *This event is closed to the general public.  All SMSD staff members and their immediate families are invited.  Children 8 years of age and up are allowed to register for the 5K event.  Children under 8 are allowed to participate in the 5K, but must be with an adult at all times while on the race course.  Strollers are welcome. Start and finish line is in the Shawnee Mission South stadium with 5K route on the Indian Creek Trail. Pre-race activities start at 8:45am.  Race starts at 9:00am.  Stay after the 5K for family fun, healthy lifestyle vendor booths and prize giveaways.   All SMSD staff members should complete an individual registration so your building participation is counted. 21st Annual Derby Dash 5K Run/Walk City of Williamstown Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.   We appreciate your participation in the past and hope you will join us again this year.  This event supports FFLAG initiatives to make Grant County a healthier place to live, work and play. There will be an after-party post race that will include DOOR PRIZES, RACE AWARDS and REFRESHMENTS for runners and walkers! You must be present to win door prizes. The Lance Cpl. Leon B. Deraps Scholarship fund gives Jamestown C-1 seniors the opportunity to receive a scholarship in his memory. Leon was a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School. He died on May 6, 2006 while conducting combat operations in Iraq.  On Saturday, May 2, 2026 we will honor Lance Cpl. Leon B. Deraps for his service and sacrifice to our great country with a walk/run/ride.  20 years gone, but never forgotten.We look forward to bringing the community together to honor our hero. Twenty years later, and may we never forget the cost of freedom.

BFit CrossFit is proud to sponsor the return of this St. Joseph tradition.   The Apple Blossom 5K run/walk will kick off the annual Apple Blossom Parade.  In addition to a traditional 5K race, this year's event will include additional events for teams to test their functional fitness as well as endurance.   In the spirit of CrossFit, teams may enter to traverse the 3.1 mile course. The Apple Blossom 5k+ is a fundraiser to benefit Sisters of Solace, a community of hospitality and healing for women survivors or trauma, human trafficking and addiction.

On May 2, 2026, experience live music and art as you traverse a course of accommodating paved and unpaved trails. Registration proceeds support student scholarships, so every step you take makes a difference in a young artist's life. IMPORTANT UPDATE!!  Interlochen Run for the Arts has a LIVE AND VIRTUAL option. Participants have two options: 1) Run the LIVE event on the Interlochen Arts location or2) Stay at home and run/walk your event with VIRTUAL options.With a virtual race you can run the 5K distance anywhere, in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, at a nearby park. You will have between Saturday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 16th to complete your 5K. Once you have the 5K completed you will enter your time in the Run Sign-up website.  Instructions will be provided for all Virtual Participants.If you participate in the virtual event you will still receive a race t-shirt and medal!   We  will ship the t-shirt and medal to you.  Cost of shipping is included in the race fee.   Event L

Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc., is hosting the Annual Cinco de Mile 5k Fun Run for Mental Health Awareness.  This RUN/WALK route starts at 9:00 am at Patton Park on Saturday May 2nd in the heart of the Cinco de Mayo celebrations in Southwest Detroit.  Participants receive a T-shirt in Mexican colors in the spirit of Cinco de Mayo holiday, and a registration bag full of promotions and resources.  Pets are welcome to join the fun! Packet pickup is on Race Day at the PATTON PARK registration booth starting at 8:00 a.m. A portion of the proceeds will help local mental health programs in Metro Detroit.
