This year's race will start at the Callahan Ballfields, meet up with Rio Grande Ave, and then through Parachute. We hope this will keep runners and traffic separate. Yes, there will be some grass and some dirt, but still all the fun! The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Garfield County is grateful for the continued support through this run, thanks to the MayFest organizers. Children with the Bea Underwood Elementary Run Club run for free. Free pancake breakfast provided by the P.E.O IW after the race for adults who register for the race and for the BUE Run Club kiddos.

It's a day for riders who identify as women to gather, experience, and share their stoke for mountain biking! Franke Park Derby Mile Kid Trail Race

Fort Wayne, IN
We are excited to announce The Getting Miles Athletic Club's first annual Fort Wayne Park Race Series. Participants aged 12 and under are eligible to compete in this race series.  The Derby Mile is a one mile loop of challenging dirt trails in Franke Park. Participants will start and finish at the HUB. The HUB is an outdoor recreation facility at the bottom of historic Derby Hill.   Make sure you arrive early to find a good parking spot, warm up, use the restrooms and pick up your race bib. Series participants need to return their race bibs to the packet pickup station in order to receive points for the race. You will use the same race bib for all the events.  Runners will receive the final race decal to put on their bibs at the finish line.  We are collecting non-perishable food items to help fill the local food lockers to help local families in need.The Getting Miles Athletic Club is a local organization whose goal is to provide a community for recreational athletes of all levels

Proudly Presented by SmartStart Pediatrics along with support from Fleet Feet Glastonbury, The Glastonbury River Runners offer this 9 week training program (no session May 24- Memorial Day Weekend) to encourage youth ages 4 to 13 to get up and move!  Let us help your child reach the goal of completing a 5K (3.1 miles) and have a great time doing it! Through this program, we are here to offer your child support, motivation and fun along the way!  Practices will begin promptly at 4 p.m. on Saturdays at the Smith Middle School Track (216 Addison Rd, Glastonbury, CT 06033). Practices will last about 45 minutes. Come run/walk/jog the 'sweet' trails of Giddings Park in Franklin, CT on 5/2, National Truffle Day!  This chocolate truffle themed 5K race is open to all ages. The race is to benefit the Quassapaug Sailing Center, a nonprofit organization designed to provide sailing instruction and encourage and promote good fellowship between persons actively interested in sailing and water sports. Sails to trails summer camp is operated every summer to encourage sailing and outdoor activities for children. Scholarships are offered for children in need.  Race is an out and back road course starting at the Quassapaug Sailing Center. First mile is downhill, then you run back up the hill (no complaining- it’s not that steep!). No Dogs allowed!  Parking is limited- carpooling is encouraged. The Steel Dynamics Garbage Mountain Gravel Grinder

Steel Dynamics Inc presents a Springtime Gravel race with fabulous views of well-known attractions like Garbage Mountain (the local dump) both out and inbound, ride by many pork and turkey farms, and over Numerous train tracks in this Lil more than a Metric long course. There will also be a medium-length course that cuts off the final loop at the Sag stop.  This will be an all-weather event (barring serious weather) so dress accordingly.  The course is a mix of chunky gravel, dirt roads, a bit of pavement, a few hills, and probably lots of mud.  There will be timing/placing for the top 3 in each class, course marshals, and signs to mark the route.  GPS devices ARE advised and course route files are available on RideWithGPS.  You will find yourself in the middle of Nowhere, Indiana.  Often. The Hoag OC Marathon Running Festival

Please Note **After careful consideration we have decided to regrettably cancel this years Steps for Strength event scheduled for 5/2/2026. ***   Bay Area Young Survivors (BAYS) is hosting its second annual Steps for Strength 5K at Campbell Park in Campbell, CA. The event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with a health resource fair, followed by the 5K walk/run at 9:00 a.m. The 3.1-mile loop course is flat and scenic, winding through Campbell Park. Water stations will be available at the start/finish line and halfway point, with public restrooms at the finish. This 5K event will be a professionally timed race.    This family-friendly event features a playground, music, a food truck, face painting, and more fun activities for kids. After the race, enjoy participant medals, the health resource fair, and snacks. Wildcat Extra Mile Race

The Wildcat Extra Mile is a one-mile race for competitive runners, casual walkers, and everyone in between! There will be two race heats so participants can run or walk at their own pace. The Wildcat Extra Mile is a fast, flat USATF-certified one-mile race that starts and finishes in front of Harding Academy.
