Hosted by Saint Joseph Grade School as a homage to Saint Nicolas, on his feast day in early December, the Saint Nick 6 features a 6k Run, 3k Run, 3k Walk, and the 0.06k Run Run Rudolph for first graders and younger. This year’s race will be our 18th and will be held on Saturday, December 5th. The race starts at the grade school and participants will travel along South Bend’s scenic east bank trail north to Holy Cross College and back. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. Race Routes: This year’s Ryan’s Run will feature a scenic route along the Mississippi River levee in downtown Baton Rouge. The race will start and finish on the Levee Terraces at the Levee Green near the USS KIDD. Participants will travel along the levee, turn around near W. McKinley Street, and make their way back toward the Levee Green for the finish. Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time): Participants will be able to pick up race packages on Friday, December 4, 2026. More details to come closer to race day. Race packets not picked up on Friday will be available at the registration table on race day starting at 6:30 a.m. Registration will be available on race day. HOORAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS! The Crescent City Classic will hold their holiday run/walk in beautiful Lafreniere Park on Saturday, December 5, 2026 (start time is 4pm). The 2-mile course takes you through Lafreniere Park during their annual Christmas in the Park Lights Display. The park is decorated with over 10 million LED lights. The park's festive displays include traditional Christmas lighted figures, the 60 foot Sea Serpent in the lagoon, and many NOLA favorites! The event is filled with gumbo, hot chocolate, beer and other refreshments, photos with Santa, a holiday costume contest, and much more! The Christmas in Lafreniere Park Run/Walk is especially popular among families. Run competitively or enjoy a leisurely walk through the park with friends and family. Participants can enjoy free refreshments and complimentary entry into both the Christmas in the Park Lights Driving Tour AND the Walking Tour of the beautifully lighted Pavilion Island BEFORE the gates are open to the general public! About the Ugly Sweater 5K and Merry Mile • Is your business interested in helping the Library with an Ugly Sweater 5K sponsorship? Please visit our webpage or call (207) 781-3485 for more information! • Break out those ugly sweaters and join us on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 9 a.m. for a holiday hustle down U.S. Route 1 in Falmouth. We feature both a 5K and a 1-mile fun run, so there is something for everyone! The Ugly Sweater 5K & Merry Mile are part of the Very Merry Falmouth weekend celebration with many events on Friday and Saturday. All proceeds from the Ugly Sweater & Merry Mile benefit the Falmouth Memorial Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. • The venue is located at the American Legion on Depot Road across the street from Falmouth Memorial Library. The start and the finish line are on Depot Road in front of the American Legion. • Bib pick-up and race day registration are in the tent next to the American Legion. • Refreshments will be available to runners and walkers after the event. • Parking will be available in the local area, including next to the baseball fields, with limited parking at the American Legion and Falmouth Memorial Library. • Directions – Depot Road intersects with U.S. Route 1. The closest exit off Route 295 is Exit 10. • We will vote on the "ugliest" and "most original" outfits and have a free raffle and refreshments after the race! Ugly Sweater 5K starts at 9 a.m. • Registration fee is $30. This is an event for runners, and we suggest that walkers participate in the Merry Mile. For safety reasons, Falmouth Police will not allow runners to push strollers in the 5K race in the street. Participants with strollers are welcome to join the Merry Mile, which is on the pedestrian way. • Course – Depot Road to Route 1. Right on Route 1 south to Route 88. North to Old Mill, turn right, left on to Edgewater, right on to Anderson, left on to Ridgeway, left onto Route 88, right onto Depot. The start and the finish line is on Depot Road in front of the parking lot of the American Legion. • Awards – First place male, female and nonbinary runners will receive a medal, and first place finishers of each 10-year age group will receive a medal. • Family discount – Families of 3 or more people will receive a $5 discount per participant. Merry Mile - starts at 9:05 a.m. • Registration fee is $15. This is an event for walkers, and we suggest that runners participate in the 5K. This event is not timed. • Course is Depot Road to U.S. Route 1, turn right on the U.S. Route 1 sidewalk to retrace your steps to the finish line.

Do you have the 'Wright' stuff? Join the Prince Georges' Running Club (PGRC) for its historic, fun, flat 8K race on Saturday, December 5th 2026 in College Park, MD at 9 a.m. The Wright stuff 8K is a celebration of the Wright brother’s first flight which happened on December 17, 1903. This fun race starts across the historic College Park Airport, the world’s oldest continuously operated airport! Club Training Program Available: Looking for new friends to train with? Sign up for our 8K training program, designed to prepare participants for this race. Other Details: Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers (male, female, and non-binary) and top finisher in their age group. Registration will closes on Friday, December 4, 2026, at 7:59 p.m. Prince George's Running Club members will save $5.00 on their registration fee.
