Wildcat Extra Mile Race

The Wildcat Extra Mile is a one-mile race for competitive runners, casual walkers, and everyone in between! There will be two race heats so participants can run or walk at their own pace. The Wildcat Extra Mile is a fast, flat USATF-certified one-mile race that starts and finishes in front of Harding Academy. We encourage students, parents, grandparents, friends, and neighbors to come out and go the extra mile with us Saturday morning, May 2, 2026.  100% of the race proceeds will be used to benefit the teachers and students. In the past, these funds have been used to purchase playground equipment, bleachers, and classroom iPads. Shipshewana Mayfest Roadrun

On Saturday, May 2nd, 2025, the Shipshewana Mayfest Road Run will be taking place as part of Shipshewana's Annual Mayfest celebration.  The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels. We will kick things off at 8:15 a.m. with the 1 Mile Fun Run. The race will begin near 345 North Morton Street at the Wolfe Building. The fun run will be run on the newly paved North Street.  It will be a straight out and back run for the kids.  The kids will finish close to where they started. Medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls. At 8:30 am, the 5K Shipshewana Road Run begins. 2026 Granby Road Race

Granby, CT
The annual Granby Road Race will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. One of Connecticut’s oldest and most historic road races, the 10K features a rolling, scenic course that winds along local roads and through the beautiful McLean Game Refuge. A 5K option is also available, with a course that runs partly on the road and partly through Salmon Brook Park. Both races start just south of Granby Middle School on Route 10. The 5K heads south on Route 10 and enters Salmon Brook Park, where runners complete a loop before returning to Route 10 and heading north back to Granby Middle School. The 10K continues south on the west side of Route 10 to Canton Road, where runners turn right and enter the McLean Game Refuge. After exiting the refuge, runners return to the west side of Route 10, continue north, and turn left into the semi-circle driveway in front of Granby Memorial High School, finishing at the high school. Proceeds support the Oliver Pet Assistance Fund, a Beesley Animal Foundation program providing financial assistance grants for family-owned pets needing urgent (non-emergency) veterinary treatment in Rutherford and Cannon Counties. This fund helps low-income, elderly, and underserved pet owners ensure pets receive care that prevents suffering, relinquishment, or euthanasia. J's Run for Pancreatic Cancer

We are family and pet friendly 5K at Saylor Park, Coplay PA.
