The Bulldog 4 is an annual fun run/walk that serves as a fundraiser for the Westmoreland PTA. Come enjoy the rolling countryside 4 mile course. All proceeds help support the Westmoreland PTA and the amazing programming the PTA provides for the students and teachers of Westmoreland School.  Registration Information: Sign up by April 24th and registration is $25 for each walker and runner! The registration fee increases to $30 after April 24th. The Kid's Sprint fee is $10 for each child, ages 10 and under.  T-shirts for the first 75 paid entrants, 15 years and up.

The Snake River Canoe Race, one of the largest in Minnesota, will hold its 45th event on May 2, 2026. The race starts north of Mora and completes its 15 mile course in Mora. Please Note:Only one registration per canoe/double kayak (two people per registration.) Registration prices listed above are per person. Only one registration per solo canoe or solo kayak (one person per registration.) Registrations are available only online. Registration ends at 9:00 pm on Friday May 1. These clinics are designed for participants ages 7-13 who have no experience riding single track trails (for programming for 13 and older, check out LCW Juniors programs). If you are new to the Trail Kids program, these clinics are highly suggested before taking one of the six-week evening sessions. Mountain bike clinics will be held in open grassy areas with some single track riding. During clinic practices, participants will be instructed by Loppet Trail Kids coaches on a variety of mountain bike skills, so they can become safe and confident riders. All participants must be able to safely ride and operate a bike with gears for shifting and two hand brakes on paved paths prior to attending the Beginner Clinic. Ages: Ages 7–13, no experience or beginners are welcome; we split into different coaching groups based on ability, fitness, and age (for programming for 13 and older, check out LCW Juniors programs). The Crotona 5K promises to be an exciting and challenging course for runners of all skill levels. This 5K race will take runners through some of the most beautiful and historic areas of Crotona Park, with stunning views of the lake and the surrounding trees. The race will begin at 9:30 am by the Crotona Ave and Claremont Pkwy, and runners will follow a winding course through the park, with plenty of hills and turns to keep things interesting. Come join us for our 5th annual installment of the Eastern Shore Sprint Adventure Race! This year, we are excited to be returning to Trap Pond State Park in Laurel, DE with a 6-hour course.  Enjoy biking (road and trail), trekking, and paddling in both familiar and brand new areas of this beautiful State Park and the surrounding areas. The Utica Roadrunners are happy to announce the return of The Grateful For Graham 5K Run/Walk! Graham Robertello is a 6 year old boy who was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) - a rare genetic disorder where the body is unable to produce a critical protein that binds the layers of skin together. This results in the skin tearing, blistering, and even shearing off. The wounds that result are severely painful, can lead to disfigurement, and some (they can also be internal) may never heal. There is no cure for EB at this time, but with everyone's support in the past 5 years, we finally have the first THREE FDA approved treatments for the effects of EB! A cure is in sight... Join us in the fight to find a cure for EB once and for all! All proceeds raised will go directly to the EB Research Partnership to help find a cure and additional treatments for EB! The Lance Cpl. Leon B. Deraps Scholarship fund gives Jamestown C-1 seniors the opportunity to receive a scholarship in his memory. Leon was a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School. He died on May 6, 2006 while conducting combat operations in Iraq.  On Saturday, May 2, 2026 we will honor Lance Cpl. Leon B. Deraps for his service and sacrifice to our great country with a walk/run/ride.  20 years gone, but never forgotten.We look forward to bringing the community together to honor our hero. The 2nd Annual BKM 4 Life Foundation Black Maternal Health 5K is a timed event hosted on the campus of SSM Health DePaul Hospital – St. Louis, a proud sponsor of this initiative. The race course features a double loop around the hospital perimeter and shines a light on the challenges and triumphs Black moms face during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. Black women are 3–4 times more likely to die during childbirth. This fundraising event raises awareness and drives action to improve care for mothers and babies. TriFAHL is one of the area's only triathlons. This is a short distance triathlon for men and women of all athletic abilities that provides the opportunity to "Tri for a Healthy Life" in a low-key and supportive environment. Since we are a smaller race, you don't have to wake up super early to try to find parking and walk a long distance to the race venue or wait in long lines to start the race. Plus you will be finished and on the road by 11am. First-timers and experienced racers are all welcome! The Daniel Barden Mudfest was created in memory of Daniel Barden, one of the first-grade students whose life was taken during the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in December 2012. The event was founded by family members whose niece was inside the school that day. While she escaped unharmed, she lost her dear friend Daniel. In the face of unimaginable loss, Mudfest was born as a way to honor Daniel’s life and carry forward the values he embodied. Daniel is remembered as a kind and gentle child who treated everyone with respect and joy. He had a zest for life and loved the outdoors, sports, and getting muddy. Those simple joys are at the heart of Mudfest. The Van Cortlandt Park 50k Founded in 2023 this ultramarathon is designed for a novice to be able to safely complete while also remaining challenging for experienced runners to be able to enjoy a fast time testing their endurance. Officer Reeves was killed in the line of duty on July 8th 2012, leaving behind his wife, son, family, and many friends. Since 2014 the Millville Police Department has chosen to honor Chris (Superman) in a special way with a scholarship in his name.
