BENEFITSBy participating in the 13th annual Bun Run, you will help support Wesley UMC's foreign and local mission work. Our foreign teams work with and support the Hands Together ministry that builds schools, medical clinics, homes, and community centers for the impoverished people of Northern Mexico. Our local missions are ALLOT which is a store that El Reno teachers can get classroom supplies at no cost; blessing boxes-15 food pantry boxes located throughout El Reno to help the hungry; Dolly Imagination Library Affiliate; we operate a local bookmobile that provides free books to kids at the schools and city events; and have local mission teams to help people in the community with yard cleanup and house repairs. Trail Kids Beginner Mountain Bike Clinics

Minneapolis, MN
These clinics are designed for participants ages 7-13 who have no experience riding single track trails (for programming for 13 and older, check out LCW Juniors programs). If you are new to the Trail Kids program, these clinics are highly suggested before taking one of the six-week evening sessions. Mountain bike clinics will be held in open grassy areas with some single track riding. During clinic practices, participants will be instructed by Loppet Trail Kids coaches on a variety of mountain bike skills, so they can become safe and confident riders. All participants must be able to safely ride and operate a bike with gears for shifting and two hand brakes on paved paths prior to attending the Beginner Clinic. Ages: Ages 7–13, no experience or beginners are welcome; we split into different coaching groups based on ability, fitness, and age (for programming for 13 and older, check out LCW Juniors programs). The Lance Cpl. Leon B. Deraps Scholarship fund gives Jamestown C-1 seniors the opportunity to receive a scholarship in his memory. Leon was a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School. He died on May 6, 2006 while conducting combat operations in Iraq.  On Saturday, May 2, 2026 we will honor Lance Cpl. Leon B. Redbud Trail Challenge

The Redbud Trail Challenge is a grueling Trail Hike/Run to benefit Ohio Wilderness Boys Camp (OWBC). Bring the whole family to participate and choose between a 5K or 10K trail course. It will take place on OWBC’s rugged 600 acre forested property located in the hills of Southeast Ohio. The Redbud Trail Challenge will do just that: challenge your will, mind, and body just to finish this course. But it will be worth every bit of energy and will-power you spend. The trail will go through 2 primitive campsites (the 5K will go through 1 campsite) which the boys built and where they reside. A few more unique features are crossing the 68′ span “Nehemiah” suspension bridge (which the boys built), the beautiful springtime forest lush with Redbud and Dogwood blossoms, and huge boulders along the trail. Warehouse 660 TriFAHL (Tri For A Healthy Life) 2026

TriFAHL is one of the area's only triathlons. This is a short distance triathlon for men and women of all athletic abilities that provides the opportunity to "Tri for a Healthy Life" in a low-key and supportive environment. Since we are a smaller race, you don't have to wake up super early to try to find parking and walk a long distance to the race venue or wait in long lines to start the race.
