Welcome to the first year of the Full Moon 5K Trail Run/Walk at Brandywine Creek State Park! The trails of Brandywine Creek State Park are waiting for you! Come on over, enjoy the trails, and watch the moonrise of the Flower Moon at the top of Hawk Hill after you cross the finish line. The MacArthur Park 5K is an annual race in downtown Little Rock coordinated by the MacArthur Park Group, Little Rock Parks & Recreation and Downtown Little Rock Partnership.  The 3.1 mile race (5K) begins from the North Lawn (9th Street) of MacArthur Park in front of the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. Mrs. Manns was a champion of Catholic education. She dedicated her career and her retirement to serving students, she made a lasting impact on the lives of many of our MBS families in her time as MBS Principal, and she added a splash of color in every facet of her life. She was also instrumental in promoting MBS at Play with the goal of raising the funds needed for a new playground for the MBS students! Thanks to her efforts and those of many others, we have completed the playground. Kaylan's Warrior Fun Run is held in honor of Kaylan Haywood. She was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffused Intrusive Pontine Glioma) a brain tumor in the brain stem. She was an active, fun loving, caring 11 yr old full of life. Her wish was for our Ohana to be there for other Ohana's effected by DIPG and Childhood Brain Cancer. So we founded Kaylan Strong's Fight Like A Warrior Foundation to help Ohana's here in Hawaii. CWU ROTC Norwegian Foot March

The Norwegian Foot March is a Norwegian military traditional event where soldiers ruck 30km with a minimum of 25lbs (dry weight) rucks on their back within a designated time according to age and gender. This event will be held by Central Washington Army ROTC at the John Wayne Trailhead going through the night of May 1st into May 2nd, participants who complete the event within time will receive an official Norwegian Foot March badge and certificate. Participants may be military or civilian so long as they are above 18 with appropriate attire and ruck. Attire for military personnel is their respected uniform according to regulation. Civilians are permitted to wear a long sleeve shirt, cargo/tactical pants, and boots appropriate for ruck marches. Both are required to bring a ruck with 25lbs dry weight and a headlamp with red lens capability (the light on the headlamp shines red).
