Nestled in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada foothills—just a stone's throw (or a rock trip) from Oakdale—this isn't your co-worker’s Sunday morning stroll. It's a springtime extravaganza where the only thing more abundant than the elevation changes are the chances to laugh in the face of adversity. Here in the Red Hills, every little rock seems to have a vendetta against your ankles, and the sun blazes with the intensity of a thousand fiery tacos. Our trails are peppered with technical single tracks, mischievous rocks of all sizes, and fire roads that will have your calves singing odes to endurance. And then there's El Guapo—the hill so steep it's got its own fan club. Conquer it a you will be officially required
