14th Running of the Franklin Park Turkey Trot The Franklin Park Coalition’s now-famous Turkey Trot started in 2013. Last year's race was our biggest yet with over 2,500 neighbors and friends signing up to join us. It was also the fifth year in a row that we sold out before the race (despite increasing our runner cap)! Come join your friends and neighbors this year. With runners and walkers coming primarily from the neighborhoods that border the park, including Roxbury, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, and Mattapan, the Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day race in the City of Boston. This event is a fun run and walking community event for everyone including pets and strollers (costumes encouraged) along Ptown’s most charming street, Commercial Street. We very excited to be able to hold the 12th Annual Community 5K run/walk (2K walk) to benefit the Easthampton Community Center this year! !. The money raised by this event has ensured that hundreds of families will have a warm meal during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. The 5K run/walk course is a flat to rolling route past the mills and fields of Easthampton, starting and finishing at Millside Park. A course map can be found posted on the main page. The course will be well marked and staffed with volunteers. There is one aid station near mile 2. Approximately half of the course is on the rail trail closed to traffic and half is on rural roads that are open to traffic. The 2K WALK ONLY starts and finishes at Millside Park the 2K walk will head south on the bike path towards Union Street and turn around BEFORE Union Street. The course will be well marked and staffed with volunteers. If you would like an event shirt you must sign up before 11/03/26. The Kids Fun Run is up to 1 mile in distance and ONLY for children 10 and under. Parents with very young children can accompany them and do not need to register. Kids will receive a tee shirt and a chocolate turkey lollipop. It will start at 8:45 in the back of the parking lot near CVS. Again, it is only for children ten years old and younger. Children over ten who would like to run should register for the 5k. Race Course The Turkey Trot is a USATF Certified 5k run through scenic Wellesley. The start and finish are at Linden Square on Linden Street. Runners will follow Linden Street to Crest Road where they will turn left before turning right on Central Street. The runners will follow Central Street to the firehouse and turn left on Weston Road until they reach Washington Street. From there, they will turn right on Washington Street until scenic College Road, the entrance to Wellesley College Campus. Runners will follow College Road up for approximately ¾ of a mile before turning right on Route 135 (Central Street) and there they will run past the famous Boston Marathon Scream Tunnel. The runners will follow Central Street to Crest road where they will turn left and then an immediate right on Linden Street to the finish line. Parking There is plenty of parking on Linden Street and we encourage families that live close by to walk or jog over. Join us on Thanksgiving morning for a 3 mile fun run around Hayden Park. Strollers are welcome, though parts of the course can be difficult to navigate with larger strollers. RACE FEE: There is a race fee this year to cover post-race snacks and to provide hot coffee for our volunteer course monitors! RACE DAY: There will be no race bibs or packet pick-up. Just show up to the start line before the gun goes off! There will be a large timer at the finish line, so keep your eyes open when you're finishing so you can catch your time! A fun Thanksgiving morning race that has become a family tradition for families in the Saginaw Valley Area. The 5k course is a single loop on a beautiful, wooded trail along the scenic Tittabawassee River. The 1m Youth Run is a Single loop in the back of the park. Join Kids’ Food Basket (KFB) on the most popular running day of the year as we officially host the 21st annual Gobble Wobble fun run and walk. This low key 5K and 5 mile run through Lapeer, will take you through Mott Community College, behind Lapeer Lightning Stadium, looping through some scenic neighborhoods before turning on M21 for all to see, ending with a straight shot down back to Mott College where the Gobblers will be waiting! . The course will be marked by a few cones with arrows, roads will remain open to traffic and participants are required to yield to traffic. You can find maps to our route in Strava format below. The 2026 KAR Turkey Trot is a family-friendly run and a holiday tradition for so many! This is a time‑prediction run where awards go to runners who finish closest to their predicted time. This family-friendly and dog-friendly event is the best way to start your Thanksgiving holiday (strollers are encouraged for little ones and dogs must be leashed). The 2nd Annual Wayzata Athletics Boosters Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026 at Wayzata High School as it makes its way through campus and the streets north of the high school. Our run has a family-friendly focus, allowing runners and walkers of all abilities to participate. After the run, enjoy music and post race refreshments before your Thanksgiving festivities. The race is chip timed by Mtec Results. Participants have a choice of receiving no shirt, a long sleeve shirt or a sweatshirt. There are some hills so count on a good appetite for fun. Register early to reserve your spot. The Pi Run is the one lap option around Lake Harriet. Just a little more than 5K - 3.14159 miles - so you have room for a little more of your favorite Thanksgiving treat. The Pi Run has the same start line, start time, and finish line as the Drumstick Dash 10K. You just get to stop after one lap! The race is chip timed by Mtec Results. The Turkey Day Trail Trot course is one of our favorites on the east side of Battle Creek Regional Park. A few challenging hills on a 5k double loop course. Runners will run clockwise on the outer loop and counter clockwise on the inner loop. 3K kids run starts with the 5K runners then they get to take the short cut to the finish. All runners receive a custom printed long sleeve Turkey Day Trail Trot shirt. Be prepared for a mix of paved trail and off-pavement cross country ski trails including a dash of Mother Nature in the mix, could be warm and sunny then again, it has snowed early. The terrain is generally rolling and would not be described as flat.

The most fun Thanksgiving Day 5K around with all proceeds benefiting Teen Challenge St. Louis, featuring a beautiful rolling out and back course through the Maryville University's campus. Great attendance prizes and awards will be given out! The race kicks off at 8:30am!

The tradition lives on! The St. Louis region's largest and oldest Thanksgiving Day run gets set for its 44th annual edition. Choose between the 3-mile and 6-mile races. Run in-person or virtually! Downtown Kirkwood is where it's all happening. The 3-mile begins at 7:30 AM while the 6-mile begins at 8:10 AM.

Please join us for Thanksgiving mass at 9:30am. The 3 mile run and 1 mile fun walk will begin immediately following mass around 10:30am. As always we will have a virtual registration option for those unable to participate in person. The Run for Ryan was formed to support parishioner, Ryan McDaniel and his family in their battle against cancer. The McDaniel Family, so grateful for the love & support they had received, created the Stay Strong Fund to help others who find themselves in a similar situation. Ryan’s legacy of kindness & generosity lives on in this fund.
