High Ridge Firehouse 5k for Autism

We are excited to see you all on the course for our 13th annual Firehouse 5K! Over the past eleven years, we have raised over $31,000 for a variety of charities centering around autism support and education. This year, you can run the race alongside local firefighters and many supporters in this community.  The course remains the same as previous years, a 3.1-mile out-and-back course starting and finishing at the firehouse.  If running isn't really your thing, you're welcome to participate in a fun 2-mile walk. WALK FOR WATER CRISIS RELIEF: Join Us for the 2-Mile Walk

Join us for a 2-mile Water Relief Walk at WALTER HALL Park in League City, Texas, on HWY 3 at: 807 SH 3 N League City, TX 77573. Arrive early by 8:30 am. The walk begins at the Pavillion in the park by 9:00 am following a short registration completion and instructions about the how and with a few short stories or testimonials about our intervention for the water crisis.  WHY? In 2010, the Beaver Freezer became the LARGEST TRIATHLON (with an indoor swim) in the UNITED STATES! Participants' experience varies from first-time triathletes to veterans; age groups range from 16-19 to 60-plus; and there are individual and relay categories available. Participants use a wide variety of equipment and encourage you to "run what ya brung!" We invite you to join the wonderful world of multisport! Come race in this early season sprint triathlon! BIB AND SHIRT PICKUP will be from 7:00 AM to 9:15 AM on RACE DAY.  Please tell the volunteers at the table your name and they will check you in. Pulling for the Community

This is a C2 Row Erg 4-person team event located at Outstate Brewing, one of the local breweries. The 4-person teams can be all male, all female, or 2 males & 2 females. This event is  45:00 for meters with awards for the top three teams in each division. Each team will establish an order for their athletes in which they must rotate through that order with each athlete completing at least one full pull on the rower before they can transition out. There is no limit to how long each participant spends on the rower as long as each team completes one full rotation through their athletes. All proceeds from this event go to the Lake Region Healthcare Unity Wellness Foundation Fund to support individuals who want to participate in any of the wellness programs but do not have the means to.
