8th Annual Veterans Heritage Ridge Run Event - 5K Trail Run, 10K Ruck Race & Family Fun Walk @ Sharps Ridge

This annual event is a fundraiser with proceeds supporting the construction and upkeep of Sharps Ridge Veterans Memorial Park. The event start point is at the Lincoln Park Technology Trade School, 535 Chickamauga Ave. The courses proceed in a loop on the well marked hiking trails of Sharps Ridge that meander through largely wooded and hilly terrain. The Azalea Festival is on. This is the 3rd race in The Pickens County 5k Race Series. Love Like Shelby Memorial 5k Color Run

Beaver Freezer Triathlon and Duathlon

The Beaver Freezer Sprint Triathlon is a community event that attracts racers from throughout the Willamette Valley and all over the Northwest. Started in 1993, the Freezer has been the OSU Triathlon Club's annual fundraising event for the past 25+ years. In 2010, the Beaver Freezer became the LARGEST TRIATHLON (with an indoor swim) in the UNITED STATES! Participants' experience varies from first-time triathletes to veterans; age groups range from 16-19 to 60-plus; and there are individual and relay categories available. Participants use a wide variety of equipment and encourage you to "run what ya brung!" We invite you to join the wonderful world of multisport! Come race in this early season sprint triathlon! Pier to Pier Beach Run

Join us Saturday, April 25, 2026, for the Annual Pier to Pier Beach 5K Run. The event will take place on the sandy beach from the Springmaid Pier and then under the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier and out to the turn 1.55 miles from the start. T-Bird Trot 5K

Please join us in our small community, Benton, KS during our Benton Day celebration on Saturday, April 25th. Start time is at 8am.  The race will be an out and back course and timed by Timer Guys. T-Bird Trot 5K formally known as Circle Foundation. Several years ago, Circle Foundation handed off the race to the Circle Booster Club.  Same race, same community, and proceeds still benefiting our students in USD 375.  If you feel led to make a donation while processing your registration, we would be extremely grateful!  There is a free will donation breakfast sponsored by the Circle Booster Club during and after the race to kick off Benton Day.  Your race entry includes breakfast, just show your bib when you get in line. The Wellness Center presents 318 YOUTH TRIATHLON, a SWIM*BIKE*RUN to be held on Saturday April 25th @ The Wellness Center 3215 Cypress Street, West Monroe LA 71291 for the following age groups, with male and female divisions:    7-8yr  100m swim, 35 calorie row, 1/2 mile run9-10yr 100m swim, 35 calorie row, 1/2 mile run11-12yr 100m swim, 35 calorie row, 1/2 mile run13-14yr 200m swim, 35 calorie bike, 1 mile run Swimming will take place in The Wellness Center indoor heated pool. Virtually every family in the United States has been touched by mental illness or addiction. Interfaith Social Services is hosting the Stop the Stigma 5K to support our loved ones, challenge stereotypes, encourage acceptance and eliminate stigmas, all while raising funds for our New Directions Counseling Center. New Directions serves anyone seeking counseling, but we pride ourselves on being a safety net for the uninsured and underinsured members of our community. New Directions makes mental health care accessible to everyone by offering a sliding scale payment system. The need for our affordable counseling services has been amplified over the past few years with the cost of healthcare skyrocketing. Our New Directions' therapists are here to answer the calls for help and working with our clients to alleviate their pain and suffering. The GEM 5K honors the legacy of Gary Engels, a beloved English teacher at Campus High School whose impact continues to be felt throughout Campus and the Haysville community. Each year, a new beneficiary is selected in his memory. Penny Schuckman, director of the Dr. John Burke Learning Center is the beneficiary of the Gary Engels Memorial 5K. Penny was chosen since in December, she experienced a medical emergency when a brain aneurysm ruptured. Penny has a strong medical team that have coiled the aneurysm, in this process they discovered another aneurysm that will be treated soon. What makes Penny remarkable is not only her resilience, but her gratitude to her medical team, family, friends, and everyone at USD261.  To know Penny is to love her.
