Our 12th Annual 5K race is a fundraiser for the nonprofit youth program, Edwardsville Wrestling Club. EWC's Mission is to enrich the lives of our wrestlers and their families through the sport of wrestling. The 5K race starts at Edwardsville High School, follows MCT trails, and leads back to the Jon Davis Wrestling Center. Awards will be given to the Top 3 finishers in their respective categories (Male & Female 10&Under, 11-12, 13-15, 16-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, and 55+). There will also be trophies and gift card prizes for the Top Male and Female finishers. The Kids Obstacle Course Fun Run will start immediately following awards. The obstacle course will be run around the Jon Davis Wrestling Center with 5 obstacles(including a bounce house!). Runners will be separated by age groups. Each participant will get a medal after completing the course. Our post race party will consist of games, hot chocolate, popcorn, and bounce house!

Project Third Day - Panhandle is hosting it's third annual 5K/1 Mile Fun Run or Walk. The run will start and end at Lincolnwood High School in Raymond, IL. Water and snacks will be provided by PTD-P. We are excited to partner with Ben Davis High School Track programs for another year of the Run Wayne Run 2k Youth Race. This years race will again take place at the Lynhurst 7th & 8th Grade Center. The race is for all youth ages 5-15 years old and serves as an opportunity to compete against both the clock and your peers with majority from Wayne Township. Our goal through this race, and the Run Wayne Run youth running programs (based at Wayne Township elementary schools) is to expose our youth to fitness, running, and healthy competition. All Wayne elementary athletes registering for the 2k will receive chip timing, an event t-shirt, and award eligibility. We hope to see lots of youth on November 7, 2026!

Join us on November 7th, 2026 for our 2nd Annual CCUS 5K; The Stateline Sprint! Racers will begin at the Historic College Corner Union School and run down the state lines of Indiana and Ohio. This is a timed 5k that you may choose to run, jog or walk. Racers will be sent in waves based on their race category (serious runners first, joggers, walkers and strollers last). These field trips help expose our scholars to pathways they may never have known about — whether it’s in the arts, science, or possible future careers! The Eagle Chase 5K is our way of keeping those trips fun, educational, and affordable. The 2nd annual Rodgers Road Race is a 5k run/walk and 1 mile kids run event benefitting the Coach Jeff Rodgers Memorial Scholarship. All race proceeds, donations, and sponsorships contribute to the scholarship fund. Jeff Rodgers, a truly remarkable and one-of-a-kind person, father, teacher, coach, mentor, and friend, tragically passed away in June of 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He fought the good fight, finished his race, and kept the faith. This race serves as a way to honor Jeff and his legacy, raise awareness for pancreatic cancer, and continue his goal of making a difference in the lives of students by creating scholarships for graduating seniors. As Jeff would've said, "It's a great day to run a 5k!" Let's get up, get outside, get moving, and honor the life of someone we all love and miss every single day. Blessings in a Backpack unites communities to help ensure elementary school children have access to food on the weekends when school meals are unavailable. By mobilizing volunteers, donors, and local resources, Blessings provides nutritious, weekend-ready meals to children who might otherwise go hungry. Today, Blessings in a Backpack distributes more than three million meals annually, helping children return to school on Monday nourished, ready to learn, and prepared to succeed. Our 2nd Annual Finding Hope Suicide Prevention 1 Mile Walk is on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at LSUE Campus in Eunice, LA. The Finding Hope Suicide Prevention 1 Mile Walk is a community-focused event about creating connection and finding hope as it is dedicated to raising awareness, honoring lives, and supporting those impacted by suicide and mental health challenges. This uplifting and inclusive gathering welcomes participants of all ages who are family, friends, and supporters of this cause. Along the walk route and throughout the morning, you'll find encouragement, meaningful moments of reflection, and a shared sense of purpose. Proceeds help fund prevention efforts, such as, education presentations and creating local resources that make a real difference in our community. In 2025, we had nearly 400 participants and raised over $14,000.00. Many participants stated, "This is needed in our community." We found the participation and feedback from the Walk validated that truth. We committed to offering community education on suicide prevention throughout 2026. We are fulfilling that commitment by providing talks on suicide prevention to local churches, organizations, businesses, and schools. We are also training certified Mental Health First Aiders who are among us in our community to be equipped with how to respond to and help those in crisis. The Down’s Park 5 Mile Run is a loop course on paved trails within John H. Down’s Memorial Park. The scenic course winds through the woods with gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay. The race starts and ends at the Fernwood Pavilion. Baby joggers or strollers are prohibited. No transfers or refunds. Runners are expected to complete the 5-mile course at a minimum of 15 minutes per mile. This race is the 7th leg of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series. Fall Fungi Fest 5K Join us for the Fall Fungi Fest 5K at beautiful Pocomoke River State Park! Whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a leisurely walk, or bringing your four-legged running partner, this event is for everyone. The course is a fast, flat, fully paved 5K, making it perfect for runners, walkers, dogs on leashes, and families with strollers. The fun doesn't end at the finish line! We invite you to stay and enjoy the Fall Fungi Fest, featuring local vendors, delicious food trucks, hay rides, live music, interpretive programs, and plenty of family-friendly activities throughout the day. Registration is free! The first 100 participants to check in on race day will receive a commemorative Fall Fungi Fest 5K T-shirt while supplies last. The Fall Fungi Fest 5K is proudly presented in partnership with the Worcester County Health Department to encourage healthy lifestyles and showcase the beautiful outdoor spaces our community has to offer.
