We will be hosting the 11th Annual GTR Gruber Trail Run on Saturday, January 2, 2027.  This run will have a distance for everyone with a 5 mile run,  10 mile run, or 20 mile run.   The run will be at the Gruber ORV Park. It will consist of a 5+ mile loop. The trail is considered a moderately technical trail.    SHIRT CUT OFF IS 12/10/26. YOU WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT AFTER THIS DATE.    You must have your packet picked up 10 minutes before the start. There will be no late starts. Due to the loop style course we need to stay strictly on time. Please make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to get your packet. If you would like to switch distances you will need to arrange that before your race starts. To keep things fair if you start your distance and want to drop that will result in a DNF. Starting the new year off strong with a walk or your way back into shape.  Looking forward to another night trail run starting at 6PM through the single track mtb trail or the paved Soda lake loop route.  This is a great way to get ready for that ultra you've been training for or just want to change it up from early saturday morning start times.   Single Track MTB trail is TBD with all of the new trails being built, we just can't decide where the race route will take you yet.  Trail is typically rolling with very little roots or debris.   Soda lake loop is our beginner friendly route around 4.5 miles but paved the whole way for those unsure about footing or it being dark.  Grab your buddy and lets go! Head Lamps are recommended but a light source of some kind is mandatory in order to run the race. Working on some overall prizes and a few items to raffle off to anyone with a bib number along with a good meal to eat after you finish.

This race allows you to set your goals and Resolutions for 2027 and have fun doing it!  This race is a Half Marathon Relay done in teams of 4, 3, 2, or 1.  With the team of 3, one member will run two legs and the other two members will run one leg. First place awards to male/female/mixed relay teams in each group and male, female and non-binary individual. Costume contest for each relay group ( 4 person, 3 person, 2 person and individual).  YOU MUST SUBMIT A PICTURE OF YOUR TEAM IN FULL COSTUME TO @resolutionrelaybyob on Instagram THE MORNING OF THE RACE FOR JUDGING! Next Step Hibernation to 5K is a no frills, get to work right away program to encourage a quick start to the new year. This program is for both beginning runners and more experienced adult runners (18+) that just need to get off the couch after a long winter! Although we only train as a group once a week, participants should expect to be devoting time for 3-4 workouts each week in order to maximize their progress.

The Race to Cure Sarcoma (RTCS) TEST brings together hundreds of members of the community who have been impacted by this disease. Each year, the Sarcoma Foundation of America raises awareness and funds for much-needed research, through RTCS events across the country. JOIN US for our annual event in Southern Florida! The 650+ acre campus of Bethesda Academy includes cattle pastures, marsh, a farm, garden, athletic fields, cottages, and tree lined paths - making it a prime location for a trail run! Join us for a 3.1 mile run through this picturesque campus, which is not usually open to the public. The course follows marsh lines, tree lines, and passes cattle, goats, chickens, and the organic garden along the way.  The trail will provide unprecedented access to Bethesda’s campus and develop an appreciation for trail running! River Road Run Half, 10k, 5k

Join us for the 14th annual Polar Prowl at the Stenger Sports Complex in Arvada, CO! As the first Denver-area half marathon of the year, this event features 5K, 10K, and half marathon courses that meander along the Van Bibber Creek Trail, offering breathtaking views of Arvada's open spaces and Table Mountain. Because the courses are relatively flat, it is the perfect opportunity to chase a personal record or secure a qualifying time for the BOLDERBoulder. We are proud to support Penguins International with this event, and we invite you to join our penguin costume contest. The layout is incredibly spectator-friendly, featuring a viewing area just a short walk from the venue where fans can cheer on half marathoners three times and 5K or 10K athletes once before they hit the finish line.

The Avalon Benefit 50 Mile/50K Run is the oldest Ultra Trail Run in California with the 50 Mile run entering its 44th year.   The 50K joined the party seven years ago and instantly became a California classic in trail running traversing all of the same trails that the older run uses.   Running the Avalon Benefit 50Mile/50K provides you a first rate, up-close and personal experience of one of California's natural jewels in trail running across Catalina Island.   The run begins and ends in Avalon and in between you simply have to run the entire length of the island - and back!  In between you will experience beautiful vistas, tremendous views of the Pacific Ocean, see a bison or two and experience some of the sports great volunteers and aid stations.

Join us for the Hope in Every Step 5K Run/Walk, a community-driven event dedicated to spreading hope, resilience, and support for those in need. Can you run half-naked in the cold January air? While we certainly don't expect this of everyone, this "stripped down" format for the race was tied to its humble beginnings, and it has evolved and grown since then. All half marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal. All quarter and half marathon runners will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt! It is quite the accomplishment to complete a HALF MARATHON! This year, both the half and quarter marathons WILL BE CHIP TIMED! The half marathon course is certified and will count as an official time. AGE GROUP awards will be given for BOTH races (distributed by 10-year age group). 13.1 mile out and back course Course closes at 11 a.m. Anyone on the course after this time is "on their own". **A $3.00 discount for Anniston Runners Club and Gadsden Runners Club members.  Discount does not apply towards Fab Four Series Bundle price.

LASAA’s mission is to organize athletic events for our members, which include Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department employees and law enforcement officers. We aim to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie among our members. The Mug Run series began in 1993. At that time, it was a small event with an average of just 10 runners per race, primarily attended by law enforcement personnel. Over the years, participation has grown significantly, expanding to welcome members of the public. Today, more than 300 runners join us, and the Mug Run continues to foster friendly competition and positive engagement between law enforcement and the community. Each year, LASAA partners with Sheriff’s stations across the county to host a series of Mug Runs. Each station brings its own spirit, culture, and traditions to the event. Don't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail.  This is a scenic out and back course on a flat, smooth old railroad bed.  Cash prizes, great competition, good food (including the opportunity to roast Krispy Kreme donuts over the campfire!), and awesome swag all make this a memorable event.  And because we understand it can be a bit chilly in January ;) we will be starting the race at 9:00 am to let it warm up and let you get a little more sleep.  All finishers receive a custom race medal!  The t-shirt deadline is January 1st. The Sorry 'Bout That 1/2 Marathon and Team Relay is back for 2027.  Hopefully it will be above freezing this year on race day, but not by much.  The course will be clockwise this year, meaning a uphill start start and uphilll finish, with the large downhill in the middle miles. Two aide stations and one portajohn will be on the course. Clockwise means it goes the direction of an old clock with hands. All turns on the course are to the right except for one.  Free Finisher Medals with entry and finish. If you enter the race and don't run you will not get a medal This year T shirts are extra cost. I have been informed by the accountants that the race can not afford to keep losing money every year.
