When & Where: Greenville, South Carolina, Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center starting at 8:00am, January 30th 2027 Greenville County Recreation presents an endurance race that will be sure to test your limits, the Pleasant Ridge Backyard Ultra! A race that is not about who is the fastest but who can endure the longest and will test even the toughest of athletes mental grit. The race format is one for everyone! You do not have to be an ultra runner to participate. We want anyone and everyone who is interested in running to come try for their personal best distance. What is a backyard ultra? It is simple, run as many 4.167 mile laps every hour on the hour until you are no longer able to continue.  If a runner is unable to complete a lap or returns after the hour is up they will be given a DNF. The 18th Annual F^3 Lake Half Marathon & 5k is Chicago's Original Winter Half Marathon. Each year, thousands of runners flock to this community-built event, gathering in the warmth of Soldier Field's United Club before tackling wind & weather along a lakefront course that features splits every 5km. A must for anyone preparing for a spring marathon or just resolving to stay fit throughout the new year. F^3 sold out in 2016-2020 and 2023-present. A wintertime race to remember! There are two races to choose from: the 2.5 Mile Run/Walk and the 5 Mile Run. The Big Cross Frozen Tundra race is open to all, but we especially invite past current and future members of Tri-Cities area high schools' Cross Country and Track Teams. Represent your school and even create your own teams (i.e. Bulldogs of the 2000s, etc). Langlauf is a 10K Cross Country Ski Race that takes place at the Mount Spokane Nordic Ski Center which is the premier Cross Country Ski Area in the Inland Northwest.  The race takes place on the traditional 10K course and has wave starts to accommodate skiers of all abilities and speeds.  Even maybe more epic than the race itself, are the pre and post race amenities that are enjoyed by all racers.  This is the biggest and oldest Cross Country Race in the Pacific Northwest...you don't want to miss it! Once again, this year we are offering an adaptive skier category. If you are visually impaired or a sit skier you will be able to participate in our Wave start, but at Junction 1 will continue on Linder Road to a turnaround at the Inland gate then back to Brian's and our traditional finish line. Welcome to the 50th running of the Green Valley Road Race!  Our host venue will be Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, SC. We have 2 options for you.  We will have a revised 10 Mile course to get to slightly less traffic roads. It will still be a big 10 mile hilly loop.  New for 2027, to honor the 50th running of the Green Valley Road Races, we will have the RETURN OF THE 5 MILE!  The 5 Mile will be point to point and optional transportation to the start line will be provided as part of your registration fee.  Course maps and more info will be provided at a later date. 🦬 Be the Buffalo 🦬  Do you know why we call this the “Be the Buffalo” Race and why we are so passionate about continuing it each year? Dianne Sullivan Wells (FiA name: Digits) was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and a well-known runner in Lexington that started the run group Running Wild that still meets to this day. Digits was tragically taken from us during one of our early morning runs in December 2018. That week the local FiA & F3 groups converged and held a prayer circle, and a friend read a story about buffalo. So, please help us celebrate Valentine's Day by joining us for our 3rd annual Ten Trails Active Club Heartfelt Hustle 5K! Registration will be capped at ~100 people and I will NOT accept race day signups like we have in the past. I'm also asking this year that we do not register kids in strollers our anyone/thing not planning to complete the entire 5k course on their own. This is to help ensure that we leave as many spots open for other racers as possible. The Dion Foundation is thrilled to host the 2ndAnnual "Hearts for Muscle" 5K Run/Walk in Naples, FL on  Saturday, February 14th, 2026  The Run/Walk will be at the beautiful Baker Park off of Goodlett Frank Road, Downtown Naples. This centrally located area is a perfect spot to come together to support our mission - to build awareness for Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and raise funds to accelerate treatments for children who suffer from this life threatening disease. After the race, we will congregate in the park next to the white tents and photo back drop area near the finish line for an awards ceremony, raffle and of course some music and food!
