The Ugly Sweater Run is a fun and spirited holiday race for all ages and abilities—where ugly sweaters meet beautiful people! Join Run The Land on Saturday, December 26th, for a cheerful 5K supporting the Christians in Action food pantry and helping local families in need this holiday season. Perry County Road Runners will host the 42nd edition of the Last Mile on December 27th 2025.  Its a 5 mile race that starts at the Duncannon Fire Hall at Cumberland and High St.  It goes through the scenic hillside outside town and finishes by the Fire Hall. Enjoy a trail run in the beautiful Rattlesnake Mountain and Huffaker hills. This course is all trail. Long sleeve performance shirt is included in race registration fee. The 5k race will begin at 9am on Saturday December 26th, 2026. 5k and virtual 5k available Youth and adult athletes are welcome, ages 5 and up.  This is a recognized and sanctioned race by USA track and field. EMT services will be provided by REMSA. This race will be officially timed and results will be posted online after the race. Dear Racers,  We have worked hard to make a system we can take info to send finisher medals, awards, tshirts and other things after the race. We hope this new system makes it easier for us to track and serve you and get your items in a timely and professional manner. No we are not Amazon being able to get shipments out in 24 to 48 hours but we are working hard to get these orders down to 7 to 10 days.  We are using this website to manage medals and shirts after a race. We will cover the fee if the error was ours. Things like running out of shirts, medals, or an award were wrong on race day. If a racer simply did not pick up their award after the race they must pay for shipping. We give these out freely on race day but you need to ask for them or attend the awards ceremony. Once you pay for shipping here there is no refund. If we made a mistake on race day please contact us for a code to have this shipping waived.

Run in the New Year with us at the 4th annual NOON Year's Eve 5K presented by Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning! This popular holiday 5K sold out the first three years, so we're expecting a full house again in 2026. The 5K kicks off with a traditional New Year's Eve countdown at NOON! All paces are welcome. Runners (and walkers!) will enjoy a certified cross country course with scenic views of the lake and surrounding parkland. OK, here is your Last Chance to run a 1/2 marathon or full marathon this year! The 1/2 marathon course is an out and back and the full marathon course is the same out and back course two times, starting at Fairhaven Park Pavillion, running the Interurban trail out to Clayton Beach for the full 13.1 miles or 26.2. Course is subject to change if trail conditions mandate.   This trail has spectacular views and very few hills, just enough hills to make it interesting, and break up the flat sections. FYI: We have been known to have SNOW this time of the year so plan accordingly. The majority of this trail is covered with a canopy of trees which deflects some of the rain or snow, but this also means it doesn’t heat as fast as an open course would. It can get cold. The majority of the trail is an old railroad bed, very easy to run on gravel surface, with the exception of Arroyos Park. Arroyos Park is a double track trail with a few bridges and a few fun hills. It is a very well maintained set
