Dirt Days Trail Series - Shawnee Lookout "West-Side-Best-Side" Trail Run Sunday, October 18, 2026 9:00 am Shawnee Lookout Hamilton County Park   DATE IS TENTATIVE PENDING PARK APPROVAL   Shawnee Lookout is located at the Southwest corner of Hamilton County and is perched above the confluence of the Great Miami and Ohio Rivers. It is well known for its historical Spring house School and Log Cabin and Native American archaeological earthworks. The park's nature trails, including the 1.3-mile Blue Jacket, 2.0-mile Little Turtle and the 1.4-mile Miami Fort trail, offer spectacular views of the Ohio River and Great Miami River valleys. The park also features picnic areas, a playground and boat access to the Great Miami River. Begins and ends at the Waterhole Meadow Shelter. The Canal Tavern 5k Run & Walk is a chip-timed race along the scenic Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail between Fort Laurens, Bolivar and the Canal Lands Park trailhead in Zoar. After the race, there will be an Octoberfest-style party on the patio of the Canal Tavern of Zoar. Proceeds from this race will benefit the development and maintenance of the Towpath Trail at Canal Lands Park in Tuscarawas County. Located in Reston, VA, this suburban park has a beautiful lake, huge open fields, pavilions, and an awesome trail network. Our course is almost entirely singletrack except for the prologue.  There is about 300 feet of elevation change on the 5 mile course.  While not overly technical, there are some rocks and roots to negotiate along most of the course. Malverne 5K Run-Walk The Malverne 5K run-walk for education is organized by the Malverne Educational and Fitness Foundation (MEFF). The net proceeds of the 5K run go to the MEFF, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth programs within the Malverne school district. The packet pickup and day-of-run registration take place at Malverne High School, starting at 7:30 a.m. (school located east of Ocean Ave.). The main event, the 5K run, is preceded by a fun run (200 meters) for children aged 10 and under. The fun run starts at 8:30. The Malta 5k Trail Race course begins at the Luther Forest Tech Campus soccer fields and quickly enters some of the best maintained trails in the area at 100 Acre Woods.   Most of the course is covered in stone dust and 6' wide. Other sections are on soft ground that feels like you are immersed in nature. Join us for the Hopyard’s Spirit of Inclusion 5k, 1 Mile Harvest Hustle and the NEW Harvest Hustle Half Mile!   This is a fun run in the residential neighborhood Hopyard Farms which is relatively flat with a lot of community support along the way.  We will have our annual costume contest this year and encourage you to dress up and enjoy this race either running, walking, rolling or come out to cheer for a DUO team or your favorite runners!  Our goal is to encourage other athletes on their quest to reach the finish line!

LOCATION South Rim Trail Head/ Backside of Bidwell Golf CourseChico, CA US 95928   DISCRIPTION  Fleet Feet Chico is pleased to offer two trail races in our beautiful Upper Bidwell Park.  The two races will start on the south side of the park down Annies Trail for a fun adventure on the single-track trails. Toss in a creek crossing and a nice finish through Yahi and the golf course, you’re sure to enjoy your run!    The two races include a half marathon and a 4-mile an hour backyard endurance challenge!    The Half Marathon will start at 8:10am along the rock wall off Centennial/South Rim trail head. This race will be a challenging climb with 1600 ft of gain in the first half. Enjoy a party at the top of 10-mile house at Aid station #1 and enjoy an all downhill second half of the race!   4-mile endurance race will start at 8:00am. Runners will run a 4-mile loop. Potomac River Running Fall Classic 10K is set for Sunday, October 19th. Join us for our 7th year running through the beautiful Ashburn neighborhoods!Race starts at 8:00 am on Exchange St. in front of the Plaza at One Loudoun.

The Shorefire 25K and 10K take runners on a scenic tour linking the Smith Mountain Lake State Park trail system. The park’s stunning lake views are easy to enjoy thanks to well-maintained doubletrack trails, with open stretches of shoreline and a variety of native forest terrain. Flat, fast sections are balanced with several punchy climbs to keep things interesting. 25K: The 25K course starts and finishes at the Beach Pavilion. The first 0.2 miles heads up the main parking lot and along the road, giving runners space to spread out before turning right at the Playground parking lot and heading into a flat, runnable section of doubletrack trail. Overall, the course is fast and mostly nontechnical, with a little over 1800 feet of elevation gain spread across rolling hills. The biggest challenge may not be the terrain; it’s resisting distraction from the beautiful lake views along the way. Join us for year EIGHT of Connecticut's most monstrous 5k in the majestic hills of Salisbury Connecticut. Our third year as a USATF certified course, is specially dedicated this year to Peter Hawley, who was a runner among runners and the most generous champion of race directors across Connecticut, certifying hundreds of races and doing double duty to raise money and awareness.  The route climbs what feels like 1,000 ft in the first mile, but gains an actual 500 feet at mile 1.3 before runners turn around at the top of Lincoln City Road, and fly back down the same steeps, flanked by extraordinary views of Lake Wononscopomuc during autumn's final peak. The Toughest 10K Galveston, the second race in the Texas Bridge Series, offers runners the unique experience of crossing a true engineering marvel - the iconic Galveston Causeway. Starting at the Galveston County Daily News offices, participants head northbound over the historic bridge, loop around at Tiki Island, and return via the same impressive structure. While most of the course features the characteristic flat terrain of southeast Texas, runners face an exciting challenge: conquering the 72-foot tall causeway with its demanding 3.5% grade, both on the way out and back.

The 28th Annual Bill Bone Tropical Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned sprint triathlon/duathlon/aquabike race that will take place on October 18, 2025.  the event consists of a .25 mile swim (or a one mile run for duathlon), a 13 mile bike and a 5k run (no run for aquabike) on the most beautiful course in Palm Beach County. Race route includes spectacular ocean vistas, a bike course that includes a bridge challenge along with a fun downtown loop in the fast 13 mile course. Finish with a run that includes a view of the Snook Island preserve and an Intracoastal path as you sail through Bryant Park and Historic neighborhoods.
