Three Rivers Conference XC Chmapionship Taking Place at Covington in 2026.

We are extremely excited to bring back a Black Swamp Runner favorite: The Night of the Dead Run! This race is a 5k mud run, featuring 20+ obstacles for you to conquer! Many of the obstacles include a "challenge" side, as well as an "Xtreme" side, making our course fun for anyone! Even if you believe you fall under the "couch potato" status, our course will help you prove to yourself that you have what it takes to tackle obstacles you thought you couldn't! In addition to the run will be the fact that this event takes place two weeks prior to Halloween. Prepare to witness some spooky scenes, as well as a few potential surprises throughout the course! This run will be held AT NIGHT, so we will also plan to have a lit up course that brings a unique feel to the Black Swamp Run. The beautiful fall scenery of the St. Marys River, Memorial Park, and KC Geiger offers an exceptional run/walk route suited for everyone. The SIDS Awareness 5k Run/Walk is an easy 5K path that will provide vital education about SIDS awareness and prevention. This race is in remembrance of Landen Philpot, who passed away from SIDS at 3 months old. All profits from the race support the Landen Philpot Nursing Scholarship. There are (2) $1,000 scholarships awarded to area students pursuing a nursing degree focusing on obstetrics or pediatrics.

TXFallenPD Tribute Event - Saturday, October 17, 2026 Supporting the TPCA Fallen Officer Fund in Honor of Sgt. Dennis Oliver   The TXFallenPD Tribute Event began in 2008 as a police bike race honoring the lives of Texas officers killed in the line of duty. Over the years it has grown into a community fundraising event benefiting the Texas Police Chiefs Association's Foundation which provides monetary assistance to the families of Texas officers killed in the line of duty. Honoring those that have died in the line of duty remains at the forefront of our event.   The TXFallenPD Tribute Event is a community event that takes place at Doubletree Ranch Park. Activities include a 5K run, civilian bike Honor race, police bike Honor race and a kid ride with a cop. There is vendors, live music, yard games, a kid zone, food, and drinks. Since 2008, we have raised over $500,000 for the Fallen Officer Fund. The Bethlehem Lutheran Fall Fest was started in 2000 by a group of parents, teachers, and school supporters. It is the main fundraising event for Bethlehem Lutheran School. Fall Fest has quickly grown into an annual community event with hundreds of runners (kids and adults) enjoying the fall weather and participating in Fest activities that include bounce houses, games, and local food vendors. Fall Fest is a celebration of Bethlehem Lutheran School’s involvement in the Tri-Cities’ community as well as welcoming in the new school year. Together, our goal is to raise $40,000 for new improvements to our school! This year, we are fundraising install a book vending machine and give our school library a nice refresh. What is the RAH?™ We’re glad you asked. RAH! represents the celebration of an annual event with hundreds of runners and thousands of fans in the beautiful, historic neighborhood of Ardmore in Winston-Salem. RAH! stands for Run Against Hunger because it’s a food drive with all net proceeds benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, which assists food insecure and at-risk families and children right in our own neighborhoods. HKY 100 Mile Ultra Run Experience. Camaraderie. Competition.  Hickory’s inaugural 100 Mile Ultra Trail Race is for teams of 2 to 10 people and soloists.  This demanding course puts you or your team racing around the clock challenging the limits of endurance, pace and strategy.  The course consists of a 4-mile route taking you on double-track farm trails (believed to be old moonshine roads), to single track hiking trails onto the newly created Aviation Trail, then through Winkler Park into the Hickory Crawdad’s stadium where the start/finish line welcomes you back.  Over 15,500 feet of elevation awaits you for this 100-mile challenge. The route consists of approximately 70% trails and 30% paved. There are several short steep climbs and two longer climbs at .65 miles each (see course map).  The course will be well marked with cones, arrow signs and reflective tape for night running. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk? The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! UToledo Health and the Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center are excited to invite the community to join us for our 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run Sunday 10/18/26 from 10am to 12pm.  Friends and families are welcome to walk or run, either 1 mile loop or 3.1 Mile course, and everyone is encouraged to wear pink breast cancer awareness gear!  Hosted at the Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center 1325 Conference Dr, Toledo Ohio, 43614 Mammogram screening information and other informational tables will be set up for participants from 9am to 10am, with the 5K and fun run starting at 10am on a timed 3.1 mile course through the beautiful UTMC Health Science Campus.

The Canal Tavern 5k Run & Walk is a chip-timed race along the scenic Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail between Fort Laurens, Bolivar and the Canal Lands Park trailhead in Zoar. After the race, there will be an Octoberfest-style party on the patio of the Canal Tavern of Zoar. Proceeds from this race will benefit the development and maintenance of the Towpath Trail at Canal Lands Park in Tuscarawas County. Racer registrations made by September 18, 2026 will receive a guaranteed free t-shirt for the race.  If registered after this date, t-shirts will be handed out the day of the race on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Day of race sign-in and registration will be held near the Canal Lands Park trailhead and the Canal Tavern of Zoar. A shuttle will depart from the Canal Tavern at 12:15 PM and 12:30 PM to take people to Fort Laurens (starting line). Timing by CHAMP Racing.

The 52nd annual Youngstown Peace Race takes place on Sunday, October 18th, 2026.  The event includes a 400-Meter Kids Fun Run (Ages 10 & Under), 2-Mile Run/Walk, & 11K.  A virtual option is also available.  Please be aware that due to construction in the park, the 10K will move to an 11K distance this year.   - The 25K begins at 8:30am. - The Kids Fun Run begins at 9:00am and starts west of the Federal Plaza & Wick Ave intersection in Downtown Youngstown. - The 2-Mile begins at 9:30am from the square in Downtown Youngstown.   - The 11K begins at 10:00am and the start line drop off area is located at Kirkmere Elementary School.  11K Runners must pick up packets before going to Kirkmere.  The 11K will follow a fast point-to-point course starting from the Kirk Rd. & S. Race Date, Time and Location for 2026 Events DATE: Sunday, October 18, 2026 TIME: 8:30 AM LOCATION: Folsom Elementary School, 75 South St, South Hero, VT 05486 The Full and Half Marathon will both start at 8:30 AM directly in front of the Folsom Elementary School. Course The marathon and half-marathon begin and end near the house where Clarence H. DeMar, seven-time Boston Marathon Winner, once lived. The half-marathon course is out and back on the west shore of South Hero and Grand Isle; a land of farms, apple orchards, and summer cottages. The terrain is flat to rolling. USATF Certification (VT24002JK)  The entire course is paved. Located in Reston, VA, this suburban park has a beautiful lake, huge open fields, pavilions, and an awesome trail network. Our course is almost entirely singletrack except for the prologue.  There is about 300 feet of elevation change on the 5 mile course.  While not overly technical, there are some rocks and roots to negotiate along most of the course. The Kanawha State Forest Half Marathon and 7K offer runners a challenging and scenic experience deep within one of West Virginia’s most iconic natural areas. The 28th Annual Bill Bone Tropical Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned sprint triathlon/duathlon/aquabike race that will take place on October 18, 2025.  the event consists of a .25 mile swim (or a one mile run for duathlon), a 13 mile bike and a 5k run (no run for aquabike) on the most beautiful course in Palm Beach County.
