Prairie Home Cemetery is celebrating its 177th anniversary, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Friends of Prairie Home Cemetery, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the cemetery. Funds raised this year will go toward installing a monument and flagpole in the newer Veterans section of the cemetery.
