The mission of RRR is to fundraise, increase awareness, and facilitate connections for people with myalgicencephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), dysautonomia, and related illnesses, now including long COVID. Dirt Days Trail Series - Shawnee Lookout "West-Side-Best-Side" Trail Run Sunday, October 18, 2026 9:00 am Shawnee Lookout Hamilton County Park   DATE IS TENTATIVE PENDING PARK APPROVAL   Shawnee Lookout is located at the Southwest corner of Hamilton County and is perched above the confluence of the Great Miami and Ohio Rivers. It is well known for its historical Spring house School and Log Cabin and Native American archaeological earthworks. The park's nature trails, including the 1.3-mile Blue Jacket, 2.0-mile Little Turtle and the 1.4-mile Miami Fort trail, offer spectacular views of the Ohio River and Great Miami River valleys. The park also features picnic areas, a playground and boat access to the Great Miami River. Begins and ends at the Waterhole Meadow Shelter. The Course combines the two lollipop loops of the Blue Jacket and Little Turtle nature trails and includes breathtaking views of the river valley below.  This is the final event of the Dirt Days Trail Series

THE GIRLFRIENDS AND PINK BRIGADE HAVE RAISED OVER $900,000 OVER THE LAST 18 YEARS!The 20th Annual Girlfriends Run offers a Half Marathon, 10K & 6K designed specifically for women to get together to do something good for themselves and to help support a very important women’s cause. We started this event to honor and support one of our BFFs, Joleen Skarberg, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and continues to run it every year with her daughters, sisters, nieces, cousins and girlfriends! Watch for her – she’ll be wearing #1! About half the gals run, half walk and many do a combination of running and walking. It doesn’t matter how you get to the finish line, as long as you get there!

We at Georgia Home Partners Realty strive to give back to the community that keeps us in business! Our local firemen, law enforcement officers, and first responders sacrifice so much to protect and serve all of us here in Oconee County. Join us for the Hopyard’s Spirit of Inclusion 5k, 1 Mile Harvest Hustle and the NEW Harvest Hustle Half Mile!   This is a fun run in the residential neighborhood Hopyard Farms which is relatively flat with a lot of community support along the way.  We will have our annual costume contest this year and encourage you to dress up and enjoy this race either running, walking, rolling or come out to cheer for a DUO team or your favorite runners!  Our goal is to encourage other athletes on their quest to reach the finish line!

The Shorefire 25K and 10K take runners on a scenic tour linking the Smith Mountain Lake State Park trail system. The park’s stunning lake views are easy to enjoy thanks to well-maintained doubletrack trails, with open stretches of shoreline and a variety of native forest terrain. Flat, fast sections are balanced with several punchy climbs to keep things interesting. 25K: The 25K course starts and finishes at the Beach Pavilion. The first 0.2 miles heads up the main parking lot and along the road, giving runners space to spread out before turning right at the Playground parking lot and heading into a flat, runnable section of doubletrack trail. Overall, the course is fast and mostly nontechnical, with a little over 1800 feet of elevation gain spread across rolling hills. The biggest challenge may not be the terrain; it’s resisting distraction from the beautiful lake views along the way. Join the Alliance for the 3rd Annual Gettysburg Loop Tour, a six-day, 200+ mile journey through south-central Pennsylvania, with a two-day stop in the historic town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, via the 9/11 National Memorial Trail.   A significant highlight of the tour includes a stay in Gettysburg on Saturday and Sunday, October 24th and 25th (Days 3 & 4), where participants will have a variety of routes and rides to choose from, showcasing the Gettysburg Battlefield and other local attractions.   Beginning in Harrisburg, PA, on October 21, the cycling tour will move southwest following the 9/11 Trail alignment's loop to Gettysburg before ultimately ending back in Harrisburg on October 27. Come run the No Business 100 October 23-24, 2026. This beautiful autumn race treats runners to miles of technical single-track trails and scenic landmarks. The 2026 No Business 100 is also a qualifying race for the 2027 Western States Endurance Race.   The No Business Hundred is a trail endurance race that begins and ends at the Group Camp in Pickett CCC Memorial State Park. The course is a single 100+ mile loop that traverses through the heart of the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area starting in Tennessee then crossing the state line into Kentucky and back on some of the oldest trails in the southeast. We reverse the direction of the course each year and award a special buckle for runners who complete the course in both directions.   Along the way participants will pass through towering sandstone arches & rockhouses, gaze upon spectacular overlooks & waterfalls, and visit abandoned farms and homesteads including the No Business settlement. No whiners, wimps, or wusses.  This is a rugged trail running race that was designed to test runners.  The course can go by quickly because of it's picturesque views;  technical climbs and descents; and fun terrain.  But be careful looking at the scenery too long, you might end up face first in a cactus.Please understand this race does not have our usual full spread aid stations and volunteers...on purpose.We have medical staff, but you are required to be able to handle your own needs out on the course.  People asked for a tough race, so Tejas Trails made it happen.  Enjoy! For more than 25 years, the annual USARA Adventure Race National Championships have seen some of the best teams from across the nation come together to compete in a non-stop, 30-hour adventure race. Many of these teams have to push the boundaries of human endurance and teamwork just to finish. Winning requires extreme willpower, mastery across disciplines, and sometime a little luck.  When the race ends, teams come together for an evening meal. We announce the national champions, crown the winners of the national points series, and celebrate the amazing adventure racing community.  The 2026 race is limited to teams of four in three divisions:  mixed gender, all-women, all-men.  There is not a separate masters division, though the top masters teams from across all divisions will be recognized. Join us October 24, 2026 to raise money for the Hoover High School Choir Program at the second annual Melody Miles 5K Run. Melody Miles 5K is a fundraising event for the Hoover High School Choir Department. This event will begin and end at HHS and have live musical performances along the way. Following the race, there will be live music, awards and a silent auction. Money raised from this event will be used to fund things such as trip costs, various equipment, and student scholarships throughout the year.
