Beginning and ending at Shelburne Field House, the half marathon is a loop course in picturesque Shelburne, Vermont.  You'll be running on a combination of dirt and back roads including a portion on the Meach Cove property, running past Shelburne Farms, and a stretch of Harbor Road with beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.  The 5K and 10K courses are both out-and-back courses that run along Harbor Road and back. The 5K is relatively flat, whereas the 10K has a couple of hills.

Join us for our 1st annual Legacy 5K in honor of the late Pastor Frederick T. Anderson. Pastor Anderson is the founding pastor of Covenant Christian Ministries and a leader in Marietta for over 30 years. He and his wife ran a private school, Covenant Christian Ministries Academy, in Marietta for 25 years, which matriculated numerous students who were not only native to Georgia but came from various parts of the world. Since 2016 the church has been meeting at various locations Cobb Galleria, McEachern Auditorium, The Mansour Center, but we settled at Smitha Middle School in 2019. It was Pastor Anderson's goal to build a permanent home for Covenant Christian Ministries, and all proceeds from the 5K will go toward making that vision a reality. The 5K course is a look back at our church history and the various places we called home in Marietta. Pastor Anderson transitioned to his heavenly home on January 19, 2025. The Thriller Lake Endurance Run is a 12, 6, and 3 hour timed loop event on the 2.2 mile loop around Miller Lake at Little Mulberry Park in Gwinnett County, GA. The Michigan Army National Guard Officer Candidate School is honored to be hosting its 2nd Annual Norwegian Foot March event at Fort Custer. The length of the march is 18.6 miles, weight required for ruck will be 25 lbs and must be completed in 4.5 hours (varies by gender and age group). Please see further information below. No refunds are offered for this event. This is a pass / fail event. If you do not meet the time standard, you do not earn the badge or certificate. All participants receive a t-shirt. We Get To Do This!We're back again for 2023 and can't wait to see you! We will have the original one-loop 10 miler and the three-loop 50k. We have increased registrations to 300, hoping for our biggest year yet. This is a loop trail race with a nice mixture of paved, rail trails, single and double track. The course is great for people looking to explore trail running for the first time with enough challenging parts to test more seasoned runners. There will be three aid stations along the way with water, sports drink, and snacks. All paces are welcome, we love walkers and hikers, too! (Generous 9 hour cut off for 50k)
