Reentry Resource Center’s Rise Up and Run 5K

The County of Santa Clara Reentry Resource Center and its partners are hosting a 5K run/walk to raise money to support the immediate needs of justice-involved people (clothing, food, hygiene, transportation, etc.). The in-person 5K will take place on Saturday, October 17th at Hellyer County Park with a race start time of 9:00AM. Participants who choose the virtual option can run or walk the race on the day and time of their choice between October 17, 2026, and October 31, 2026. Sunset Mountain's Naked Mile - Snap Dragon Style

Naked-Snap Dragon style race. This is an 18 and up event. We will run .86 mile laps around Sunset Mountain on the Snap Dragon trail starting at 1pm and the last person to finish each lap will be out. We will run until there is only 1 person left or at 4pm if the race is still going we will have a race off to determine the top three male and female finishers. Each lap will be limited to 12 minutes and this years race is 180 minutes long with an additional race-off lap. You may expect to run a half marathon if you are one of the top competitors! Not only the last person to complete each lap will be out but also anyone who can't make it back in 12 minutes. Every 12 minutes a new lap will start with the remaining contestants.  Just for reference this is an extremely aggressive running trail. The Chappie James Bridge Run (formerly known as the Bridge to Bridge 5K) will start at the base of the 3 mile Bay Bridge on the Pensacola side and will run over the Bay Bridge into Gulf Breeze, finishing at The Bridge Bar and Sunset Lounge. Ivoryton Pumpkin Chase

The Ivoryton Pumpkin Chase is a 5K Road/Trail Race and a Kiddie Pumpkin Fun Run (age 7 and below) to benefit the Ivoryton Library and takes place in peak foliage season of southern New England. The course begins along North Main Street for approximately ½ mile before turning left down Falls River Drive. At the one mile mark, the course enters the Falls River Preserve for a 1.1 mile trail loop that meanders along the Falls River. The trail is double track for about ½ mile before it turns into hilly and rocky single track. Care must be taken on the trail due to the presence some jagged rocks and roots. Please be aware that the trail can be slippery in wet conditions.   Participants will receive a free t-shirt with registration before September 18. RACE START TIME: 9:00am PARKING: Watts Middle School, 7056 McEwen Road, Centerville, OH 45459 COURSE: Trails through Grant Park REGISTRATION: Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race.  Online registration remains open until approximately 15 minutes before race start and can be done in-person at the race.  Hard copy registration sheets are also available on race day if needed.
