Melody Miles 5K is a fundraising event for the Hoover High School Choir Department. This event will begin and end at HHS and have live musical performances along the way. Money raised from this event will be used to fund things such as trip costs, various equipment, and student scholarships throughout the year. Big Sur River Run is a benefit race for two important Big Sur community organizations, Big Sur Health Center and Big Sur Fire. There are two races, a 10k and 5k. Both courses are all flat, black-top road loops alongside Big Sur River, through Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park's redwood and oak grove campgrounds. The 10k is a certified course. The 5k is a Family Fun Run or Walk. No Bicycles, dogs, strollers, skates, wagons, or other wheeled conveyances (other than wheelchairs) are permitted. Prizes for 10K Race winners and top finishers. The Arkansas 20K will start and end at the River Center in Benton. All turns are marked with large signs with arrows. The race will be chip timed. The course will remain open until 11:00am. Temperatures can range from the mid-50s to mid- 80s. Humidity can sometimes be high. The 20K is an excellent test/training run for a fall marathon as well as a challenging race in its own right.

This year's Brew to Boo is going to be a slight adjustment compared to previous years. Rather than running nearly a marathon from South Kansas City to North Kansas City, we're going to stay near the Kansas City Downtown and there will be two participation options as well! The first option is a Pub Crawl in the Crossroads. We'll start at Torn Label and make our way west from brewery to brewery until we end up at Casual Animal. By utilizing this format, my hope is to keep a good size group together and make it much easier for people to join up later in the day if need be. The second option is the actual running portion of Brew to Boo. While the Pub Crawl is happening, runners will shoot off to another brewery outside of the Crossroads, grab a drink, and run back. There are 5 legs to this including Boulevard, Strange Days, Alma Mader, Stockyard, and Vine Street. The Friends of the Parks are happy to present the “Friends of the Parks Half Marathon, 5k & 10k Powered by: Coshocton Regional Medical Center.” This race will have a great course that will showcase Coshocton's beautiful Lake Park Complex bike trails as well as some running on the city streets of Coshocton for the longer distances.  The 5k will be completely confined to bike trails.   Registration Details:*Register by September 18th, 2026 to be guaranteed an event gift. We are gearing up for the 11th annual Running of the Bulldogs is at McKinney North High School!! The mile run will begin at 8:30am while the 5K will be at 9:00am.  The race benefits the MNHS Cross Country/Track & Field teams. The course features beautiful rolling hills through Timber Creek neighborhood, starting on McKinney North HS campus and finishing the last 300m on the MNHS track!
